Day 1: Slept in a shed on a pallet. Not as bad as you are probably thinking, I've slept worse in a normal bed...

Day 2: Slept in a home belonging to a member of a local church who runs a homeless charity I used to help out with, found a library with internet access, browsed here for a little while.

Day 3: Turns out the landlord had made a fairly serious f*** up, and evicted the wrong person. Got a call this morning, now back in the place.

Result: £200 pound up as a saying sorry gift, and free rent for the coming month. Not a bad result actually, that's a gift equivalent to just over 4 days wages, and then another (pre-spent admittedly) £180 on top.

So, I'm back. Sorry for the very pessimistic estimate earlier, that's just how I work, since you are always either pleasantly surprised or right...

Not to sound insensitive to your situation, but that seemed pretty melodramatic for essentially a 3 day break from the forum.

Yes, sorry about that, but when some bailiffs came round making a list of demands to leave by the end of the day it was quite... I was in a fair bit of a state when I wrote that post.
