Perk Tree Map woes

Post by IgorVonDame »

I created a number of pages that incorporate Perk Trees and found that the majority of my time was spent tweaking the coordinate locations of the link balloons (marks). As I have over 256 maps to apply Perk Trees to, I thought I'd ask if someone has written and tools to help improve the time needed to implement them. I'm hoping for something were I could mouse-click to place them and then make minor edits if needed.

No, all my maps are not the same (they are town building layout maps for Arena).

So, all you Perk Tree experts, I'm open for suggestions :-)

I think Nephele was mostly responsible for the perk trees, and she is no longer active. You might be better off asking for help on the Community Portal, although as far as I know we have no tools for mapping co-ordinate dots to images. Nice work on those Arena pages though!

I've used Perk Tree on map images for Skyrim and Online, and it is hard, Alfwyn was looking into plotting the Skyrim interior maps by programming the co-ordinates in, which would take a lot of work away but i'd imagine they still needed tweaking. Asking Alfwyn directly *might* gain an answer as well as to if/when this would be possible.
