"2700." Sally told the man and hoped that he would accept the offer. "They're in good condition and have been looked after." She informed him.

"If ye ask me," Aidan said, interrupting the negotiations of Sally and the Harbormaster, "I would say that 2700 is still a bit low for mortars in as good condition as these here. But then again, ye ain't askin' are yeh mate." Aidan smirked confidently at his Captain and the harbormaster.

"We come with news from Nassau. The port's been attacked by an unknown armada. They ships are nothing like any of us have seen before." said Henry. "It's likely they'll attack our own ports and ships in time, we thought it best to come here to inform you."

Just so everyone knows, I'm trying to hold off from posting until Pom gets back.
This seems like a crucial moment with the giant ghost ship, so, I'd rather everyone be here to take it on, especially when Pom's ship is the largest of all of ours >.>

"2700? Deal." The Harbormaster nodded, holding his hand out to seal the agreement. "But you, you've got a good eye for negotiation, even if your captain doesn't listen. Make sure you use that." He said to Aiden.
Henry and Matthew
A look of surprise flashed upon the commanders face and a slight whisper escaped his lips. "So soon?" He muttered, before he regained his composure. "Hmmmm, yes. We must discuss this further. Please, follow me." He stated as he started his walk deeper into the fort, not even bothered to look back and see if the pair would follow.

Henry looked at his captain for a second before deciding to follow the commander.

"Deal." Sally said after spending a few moments thinking about it. "But i want to see the coin first before I hand them over." She informed the harbourmaster. She didn't like handing stuff over without seeing the coin first.

"Smart woman." The man commented as he headed back to his booth to collect the gold. "Not as much haggling as I would have expected but.... I guess its better than nothing." Isabel spoke, having watched.

"I just want to get these blasted things off the [&@%!] before they get us killed. Although, i should have tried to get him to buy them for 3000." Sally said to Isabel.

Allen shook with the ship, and gazed up at the shadowy monstrosity for only a moment, before continuing to stumble toward Francis and William. "What are we to do? Surely our smaller ships couldn't take a broadside from such a beast! You don't honestly expect us to sail in blind without a careful plan?" Clearly shaken by the might of the ship, Allen glared at the men, awaiting their response.

"If we sail diagonally away from it, around Nassau, we should be able to retreat but continue firing" Avery added

Leo nodded. "And what of those with nothing to gain and all to lose? Do they count as well? Perhaps my captain is one best fitted for these strange things, as am I by extension. Praythee tell more, tell of such strangeness that the mind boggles." His card now face up on the deck was 'The Fool'

"Yes, you should have." Isabel admitted meekly before the man returned. As he tossed a sizable sack of gold at Sally, he stated, "I'll have my men get these mortars of yer ship. Do you have any other business, or can I got back to my stall?"

"First, what would a heart like yours do with such strangeness? Would you use it for the good of others, or yourself?" The man asked.
The British
Several loud thuds emanated from the belly of the large ship, not akin to cannon fire yet more like great footsteps. The men of the Imperator started to quake with fear and it seemed as if the very sea itself was afraid. The wind blew favorably for the Captains, howling as if trying to convey a message.

"Truth of lies I may use it for others benefits. A truth or a lie to me is not known. For to benefit others benefits me. Seeing strangeness makes me see strange in others." A grin on Leo's face as he replied, 'The Fool' was still shown.

"Not untill i've made sure there are exactly 2700 coins per our agreement. It won't take long and it is just a precaution on my part. There are many who would like to cheat an honest captain out of her mortars." Sally told the harbour master. "But our bussiness is concluded for now. I will send word to your men once i've finished counting the coins and making sure they are real." Sally informed him.
