Name: Kael Stormwatch
Race: Altmer
Born in: Sunhold, Summerset Isles
Age: 76
Class: Paladin
Sign: The Lady
Factions: The College of Winterhold, Dawnguard, The Greybeards

Skills: Light Armor, One Handed, Restoration, Alteration, Enchanting

Pivotal Moment:
Spoiler:
One fine evening in Sunhold, Kael Stormwatch sat with his family in the great veranda that overlooked the southern coast of the Summerset Isles. They were hosting members of court and great wizards from across the Isles. The wondrous smells of Altmeri cooking, elegant wines and beautiful floral arrangements carried across the ocean breeze throughout the Stormwatch home. The night was a merry one, but with an unwelcome and unsavory interruption.

An Argonian was caught stealing from the pantry and the guests' unattended belongings. He was brought by the family guard to the party to be humiliated. Kael's father stood up and rose his goblet in a toast to the reptilian stranger. "May you live an interesting life, and find what always lies elsewhere."

The Argonian knew he was being mocked. "You think that you are clever with your riddles and things? I did not believe the rumors of High Elven arrogance! I'm glad to see it firsthand.."

"These younger peoples often call it our arrogance. I would simply call it your envy. After all, we were not found in your pantry, friend." Kael's father remarked.

The Argonian replied "I can smell your hubris from here, elf. Your ancient ways and ancient thoughts will keep your pedestal precisely where the rest of the world wants it to be: away from the rest of us."

"These ancient thoughts have brought about the greatest culture to grace this realm. Your youth clouds your judgment," the Stormwatch host declares with a condescending smirk.

"Your age clouds yours," spits the insulted Argonian.

"Lucky for you, I have enough wine in me to entertain you." Kael's father sets his goblet down, leaning against the banquet table. "Perhaps you could test this view of yours?"

The Argonian stares back at the golden mer, awaiting his response. Kael detected a twitch of joy, suppressed in the lizard's lips.

"From the beginning of eternity,
To the end of time and space,
To the beginning of every end,
And the end of every place..."

Kael sat back, sipping his strong wine and listening to the elders discuss. They exchanged their thoughts before the Argonian "guest."

"He speaks of the Elder Scrolls. They live within and without this realm. Objects of eternity and footprints of our timeless world."

"No! He speaks of Auri-El! The soul of Nirn and ancestor to us all!"

"This beast is ignorant to our ancestors, Kalanar. He likely means Akatosh, the men's dragon of time!"

Kael's father hushes his guest and turns to the Argonian. "Have we answered your riddle, friend?"

The Argonian in his binds replies, "E." This confuses the host.

"Does that mean 'yes' in your tongue?"

The Argonian looks up to the host. "No. I mean, the answer is the letter, E." Kael, half way into sipping from his goblet, stops, lowers his cup, and smiles at the burglar, surprised by his trick. The Argonian notices, and looks to Kael, "The world is not as high as the golden ones expect."

Kael's father has the guards usher the Argonian out. When turned into the Guard, he already had several bruises and cuts across his face. He was reported to have tripped on their way to the door. Kael could not shake what the Argonian inspired in him. The wisdom and age of the Altmer people did not hold the answers. With such a variety of perspectives in the world, what were the chances that the Altmer were right? Only with cooperation and collaboration would the true potential of all peoples be achieved. Only then could full understanding and wisdom be attained. If you cannot tell, Kael is a very introspective person. He reflects and meditates, thoughtful in his approach to all things.

His desire to travel and study abroad Tamriel upset his family. The Thalmor power in the Alinor was rising, and the Stormwatch family supported them. When Kael confronted his father time and time again, hostilities mounted in their relationship. For the Stormwatch family, they prioritized beliefs over family. The son and the father fought each other. Only once did it become physical. Explosions of magicka and bloodied lips and bashing fists, screaming in contrast to the civility of the household. Kael's father finished the fight, cutting his son in the eye with a shard of a broken pot. He banished Kael from the house, giving him the same curse as the Argonian. "May you live an interesting life, and find what always lies elsewhere."
Bio:
Spoiler:
Kael Stormwatch is a 76 year old Altmer, exiled by his family to travel Tamriel just as he desired, banished from ever returning to the Stormwatch house. The young Altmer longs for a change in what defines the Altmeri people. Their wisdom gives them strength, but also hubris. He believes that the prosperity that the world needs will only come from the cooperation of the Altmeri and the younger races. He believes that they should work *with* each other, instead of *over* them.

Kael is an Altmer. His long life inspires in him the values of intelligence, formality, and the never-ending pursuit of perfection. His luxurious and noble lifestyle in the Stormwatch him leaves him rather snobbish. He is picky in the foods that he will eat and annoyed by lower standards of living. However, he is civil and polite, formal in his exchanges with people. This makes him come off as arrogant and holier-than-thou; this is a common perception of "high elves." He seeks to change what it means to be Altmer, and fight against the Thalmor xenophobic philosophies and agenda. But Kael will always believe in achieving a higher standard of being. He values symbols such as the bird, for its ability to soar. He envisions creation as a caged bird that needs to make the most out of its situation. He also looks up to the stars for strength and inspiration. These glimpses of Aetherius grant the people of Mundus the gift of magic, a resource that Kael will always strive to master.

He grew up on the southern coasts of the Summerset Isles in Sunhold. He has an affinity for seafood, sailing, fishing, swimming, etc. His favorite meals (Realistic Needs and Diseases) will likely be various fish. I will likely need to study some sailing metaphors and sea-worthy vocabularies to give Kael some appropriate comments. Like "An optimist hopes the winds will change, the realist adjusts the sails."

He will fight with the Vigilants of Stendarr, the Dawnguard, and the Silver Hand to eradicate all those corrupted by the Daedra. Mortality is bound for greatness, but not on the crutch of these slave masters from another realm. Creation comprises of the Aedra. He sees no reason why the children should be lesser than the parent. He will agree with the Greybeards that one should find perfect balance between inner spirit and outward action, but he finds that Jurgen Windcaller mistook worship to the gods as just a respect for creation, just another facet of Aetherius. When one seeks to truly unite creation and fulfill its potential, such as Tiber Septim, they will have the power to. But when Jurgen Windcaller failed on Red Mountain, it isn't because he was fighting without prayer, it was because he was fighting out of hatred for his enemy.

Kael had always found in his artistic and academic practices that it is where you need most improvement that you should focus your efforts first, for life and wisdom is found outside of your comfort zone. This meant travelling to Skyrim, home of the Nords, and the pivotal center of man's future with regard to themselves and their elven neighbors. He aspires to raise a family of his own to distill his beliefs in them. He wants to be able to spite his father in the beginning of his own family...perhaps Kael will leave the Stormwatch name at the door. He doesn't want to associate himself with them any more.

He was trained in duelling for sport. He studied in magic, as most all Altmer do. He is most proficient with long and broad swords. The weight and control feels home to him. He was never much of a destructive person. He preferred constructive and practical uses of magic, unlocking the true potential of himself and his surroundings, improving whatever he touched and restoring what was broken. If the Altmer people cannot restore themselves to divinity without resorting to methods of the Thalmor, then Mundus will just need to improve... become greater than Aetherius itself. This might induce a fascination for the Dwemer.
EDIT: This is my WIP character. I am trying to base him off of my personality and my playstyle as much as possible. I would like to know what you guys think! Any feedback, criticisms, helpful lore sources etc. are appreciated.

Just for fun, I decided to create a character that's out of the ordinary for me. I have 3 female Dovahkiins, that all sided with the Empire, so voila:

This handsome lad here is "Svasen Lionmane", supporter of Ulfric yet follows the law, going for two-handed, heavy armor, and speech because he's well versed in the merchant ways. He'll be my 4th Dovahkiin (I don't believe in denying these characters their true nature). He grew up with his mother and little sister in Mixwater Mill, but it was attacked by bandits and he was separated from them. He has yet to find their whereabouts.

Svasen is destined to have a torrid love affair with Aela, the one gal that sticks in his heart after so many. Figured I'd make a casanova if I was playing a male, just because its fun.

Name: Evelyn Snow-Song
Race: Bosmer
D.O.B: 24th Suns Dawn 4E 74 (127 years old and still young)
Birthplace: Cyrodiil

Story (so far)

Her father (Nord, hence her clan name and not a surname) and her mother (Bosmer) met and fell in love in cyrodiil. Soon they birthed Evelyn. Her father was a Smith and her mother an Alchemist. She was raised equally between the two parents, her father teaching her basic smithing and how to handle daggers. Swords were too large for her then. She showed exceptional skill through archery. He used to tell her tales by the fire at night of when the Nords shared the bloodline of exceptional dragon beasts, boasting that this very bloodline flowed through his veins. Evelyn believed all of this to be fatherly stories that were myth and legend.

Her mother passed on her knowledge of alchemy, showing her how to form basic potions for healing effects. Although she showed more interest in her fathers teachings she admired her mother for keeping her close to her kin by educating her in Bosmer culture and history.

There was a time they moved to Morrowind due to the business nature of her father. Whom got accidently involved with a Morag Tong contract and both Evelyn's Mother and Father succumbed to their blade. She fled Morrowind back to Cyrodiil in search of The Dark Brotherhood. To no avail in Cyrodiil she decided to make her way north to Skyrim to continue her search to join them in her quest for vengeance over the Morag Tong. Upon the Cyrodiil/Skyrim border she was caught in the middle of an Imperial ambush and brought to Helgen to be executed...

(Still working on her back story in more detail, but, that is the essence of it)

Home: Proudspire Manor, Solitude (originally from Daggerfall)
Spouse: Marcurio
Affiliations:
*The Dark Brotherhood (Ex-member)
*Dawnguard
*Greybeards
*Thieves Guild
*College of Winterhold
*Imperial Legion

Bio: A lonely wanderer from Daggerfall seeking refuge in another state, Calvario was a bodyguard (read housecarl) for a high-ranking Breton noble. When said noble was assassinated by rivals vying for political power the blame was pinned on Calvario who promptly fled Daggerfall and Highrock in search of asylum in another land. He had briefly considered laying low in Morrowind, however due to the political strife and the ongoing battles with the Argonians he decided against it and decided to just keep going East until he reached the border into Cyrodiil, from there he would have met up with friends in Skingrad and would have remained in hiding until he could clear his name. This plan did not work out however as he was mixed up with a group of rebels calling themselves the "Stormcloaks" and was apprehended by the local Imperial Legion and taken to Helgen Keep.

After having escaped Helgen, Calvario decided to stay in Skyrim a while in order to find out the cause of the returning dragons and possibly find a way to clear his name once and for all. Still a wanderer, Calvario was very much a "jack of all trades", having honed the disciplines of sneak, fighting and magick and put them to use by joining a cadre of factions the first being the Dark Brotherhood, a group of assassins that undertake killings for gold. He hoped through the Brotherhood that he would be able to get revenge on the Empire for wrongly aligning him with the Stormcloak rebels and almost having his head removed. He was a magnificent assassin, and through his work in the Dark Brotherhood had managed to even assassinate the Emperor! However he soon regretted his decision and after returning to the original contractee (Motierre), Calvario received his payment and plunged a dagger into the man's eye before leaving the assassin's life behind him for good.

He joined the Dawnguard in order to aid in the fight against the growing Vampire threat and in hopes of somehow atoning for his past sins. After traveling with his newfound traveling companion, Serana he slew a corrupt Snow Elf and after donning the Ancient Falmer armor, brought the fight to Castle Volkihar. After assisting Serana in the fight against her father he bid the vampire farewell as he traveled back to the mainland. Along the way he was approached by two strange beings wearing cloaks and odd-looking masks. They accused him of being "dragonborn", though Calvario dismissed their accusations. A fight broke out and Calvario killed the two mysterious figures, he read a note and looked for a vessel that would give him passage to a place called Solstheim.

He wont like killing humans even bandits so he only does it when he has to,

It occurs to me I never posted any of my previous characters here, so let me amend that and introduce you to my current one - incidentally an old one too, she's a restart of my second ever character in Skyrim. (Abbreviations: R= Requiem, INPC= Interesting NPCs.)

Name: Marilyn (II)
Race: Bosmer
Year of Birth: 4E 177
Place of Birth: Bravil, Cyrodiil
Birthsign / Standing Stone: The Thief / The Shadow
Class: Thief /Archer/Assassin
Current level: 39
Dragonborn: No (Using Skyrim Unbound to disable words of power, random dragon spawns and dragon soul absorption; dragons still guarding their lairs/wordwalls though)
Alignment: Neutral Evil
Personality: cunning, cynical, sharp-tongued (she's one who will always pick the snarky dialogue option unless she has a good reason to buddy up to the other person), daring (bordering on foolhardy at times but tends to get away with it), passionately cherishing of people who have won her affection, but everyone else is a legitimate target to be used, exploited or disposed of as she sees fit
Motivation: taking revenge on society for mistreating her in the past and making sure nobody ever has the power to mistreat her again

Fighting style: Stealthy archer switching to dual-wielded blades when engaged in melee; makes extensive use of poisons
Major skills: Archery, Sneak, Evasion (R), Lockpicking, Speechcraft
Supporting skills: Pickpocket, One-Handed
Crafting skills: mostly Alchemy (she also has the first two perks in Smithing and one perk in Enchanting – meaning she knows how to enchant items but depends on special scrolls for recharging her gear under Requiem conditions)

Weapons: Nightingale bow (switched for a Virtuous Ebony Bow when fighting undead) + assorted arrows, Steel Crossbow (for dragons), Nightingale Blade, Chillrend, Silver Soulreaper (silver katana self-enchanted with fiery soul-trap), Skull of Corruption
Apparel/Equipment: mostly Nightingale gear, exchanged for Full Leather Armor (R/Immersive Armors=looks of hide with better stats than regular leather) in warm weather and Black (not Shrouded) Robes for nightly thieving and Dark Brotherhood assignments, all combined with a Shrouded Hood, varying cloaks and various enchanted jewellery; camping gear and varying supplies of potions, scrolls, soul gems and elemental powders (R)

Factions: Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood
Thaneships: Falkreath, Riften; Markarth pending acquisition of real estate
Civil War: not really interested in politics, but neither side holds any appeal for her; as far as she's concerned the Thalmor are the good guys.

Friends: Gorr (INPC), Eola, Lisbet, Sapphire (lover), Karliah, Brynjolf
Other significant NPCs: Sylphiron (INPC, elder sister), Astrid, Cicero

Religion:
Spoiler:
her parents raised her according to the Green Pact, but although she still swears by Y'ffre when agitated and keeps a strictly carnivorous (and occasionally cannibalist) diet because she vaguely remembers that this is „how things are done“, she has been estranged from true Bosmer traditions for a long time and won't hesitate to use plant matter for alchemy or indeed any purpose other than food. In the privacy of her heart, however, she's been invoking Sithis ever since, as a child, she accidentally witnessed Alisanne Dupré making her last stand defending the Night Mother's crypt in Bravil and going down yelling „Hail Sithis!“ It's not like she had any idea who or what Sithis actually is, but those words have staid with her ever since, becoming her personal battle cry. Joining the Dark Brotherhood was a revelation, everything fell into place for her then.
Backstory:
Spoiler:
too lazy to write out in full, but it involves two loyal Bosmer citizens of the Aldmeri Dominion who migrated to Bravil after the Great War masquerading as fugitives from Thalmor tyranny but actually worked for the Thalmor undercover until they had the bad luck to get caught up in the Bravil Skooma Riots of 4E 188 and get killed; a couple of well-meaning Imperial foster parents totally ignorant of Bosmer culture, a foster-sister who died from some disease or the other, a sudden attack of gnawing hunger during the wake (yeah, Eola got that part right), rejection by horrified foster parents, an orphanage that wasn't quite as bad as Grelod's but not much better, street urchin years in Bravil and Imperial City, habitual thievery leading eventually to contact with organized crime. Ironically she ended up working for the same skooma trafficking cartel that was responsible for the death of her parents; the boss connected the dots before she did and tried to get rid of her by tipping off the jarl's men while Marilyn was on a mission to smuggle skooma into Falkreath hold from Bruma. She managed to dump the dope before her arrest though, and with no evidence to be found on her they could only bust her for crossing the border illegally. Her adventures in Skyrim began with her release from Falkreath jail as a penniless beggar.

I have multiture of characters, I just introduce them bit by bit, who I'm currently playing with.

Danae Neryssa is Altmer, Nightblade and renegade Thalmor-hater. Level 23 right now.
Currently travelling with Illia after she got annoyed with Aranea Ienith.
She lives in Lakeview Manor and has adopted son Blaise, no husband.
Agewise, she's young for altmer. She's Thane of Falkreanth and Whiterun, hasn't joined any guilds or factions.. (She tries to dodge Brynolf's offers to join Thieves guild, despite that she's known to steal and pick pockets.) She doesn't want to be restrained by guild rules. She's not sure how to take this dragonborn-stuff, and hasn't visited High Hrothgar for the first time yet.

History:
Danae was exiled from Summerset when she publicly spoke against Thalmors. After drifting around for awhile, she came to Skyrim in hopes of finding a place where she can make a living without Thalmor chasing her. Wistfull thinking. After crossing the border, she was caught by Stormcloaks who accused her of being Thalmor spy. They had stripped her to undertunic when Impearial solder ambushed the party. She was thrown to wagon with all the rest and taken to Helgen for headman's block.
After the escape from Helgen, she was not fond of neither side and is staying neutral.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ahriman, redguard warrior, level 15
Lives in Windstad Manor, adopted son Alesan
He's straigh warrior, not doing magic with the expection of occasional healing. Smithing yes, no enchanting (recarging weapons with ready filled soulgems is only thing he's allowed) and alchemy
Wears: A'likr hood, Hammerfell garb and redguard boots, when dungeon delving or expecting battle he switch in to hide armor of health, leather boots of sneaking and steel nordic gauntlets of major archery (all loot or reward from a Jarl (the hide armor).
As a weapon, he either dual wields scimitar and dagger-combination or goes blade-and-board with Pale Blade and elven shield. He doesn't use follower.

Currently _trying_ to finish the Sanguine quest.

History: Ahriman is simple mercenary who came to Skyrim to look for fortune. He had heard of the war and saw it as opportunity to a sellsword. He was surprised to discover he's dragonborn and that Skyrim is starting to feel like home. He hasn't joined the civil war yet though..been too busy with other quests.

Name: Rufilis Aloush
Born: 4E 175
Place of Birth: Imperial City
Main skills: One-Handed, Block, Light Armour, Archery
Back-story: His father (Alinven Aloush) was a Breton who the year after Titus Mede II ascended to the thrown (4E 168) was sought out and asked to become an advisor to the Emperor due to his reputation as both a skilled mage and diplomat. Soon after moving to the Imperial city he met a Redguard/Imperial female legate of the Imperial Army by the name of Vianatia Curria. They fell madly in love and after a few years were with child.

Rufilis was born in the Imperial city and grew up among the children of the Imperial Army’s soldiers. He had inherited none of his father prowess at spell craft other than his natural resistance to magic but he had however inherited his mother’s prowess at combat and as a young boy showed excellent promise in the art of war. Due to both his parents’ heavy involvement with the Empire during the Great War and the aftermath, Rufilis grew up with very imperialistic views and beliefs.

By 4E 193 Rufilis had grew tired of the sheltered life he had been living within the Imperial City and at the age of 18 did what many had expected him to do and enrolled in the Imperial Army along with 4 close friends. They progressed well through the army however Rufilis felt resentment growing as he believed that due to his parents (father especially) standing in the Empire that he was being posted in “safe” roles and locations for fear he may come to harm.

However in 4E 200 two of the party died during a bandit ambush on a wagon they were escorting. The refusal of the request made by Rufilis and his friends to seek out the Bandits left a bitter taste in their mouth and the 3 friends went absent without leave that very night.

They spent most of the next year travelling the lands of Cyrodill searching for the bandits until they arrived near Darkwater Crossing were they found them. A battle ensued and Rufilis and his men slaughtered the whole Bandit clan but at the cost of their lives. Rufilis was tired from the battle, mourning the loss of all his friends and left with little purpose to his life when he stumbled into an Imperial trap laid for Ulfric Stormcloak where he was captured by the very Army he ha once so happily served. Strangely he was not identified when captured and was led with the other prisoners to Helgen for execution….

Malandor, current level 25
Race: Bosmer
Job/class: Assassin

Malandor is my dark brotherhood- assassin, created just to play that questline thru. Of course, I get side tracked and he's done of lot...Including only one to finish Morag Bal's quest and other more evil daedric quests.
He's married with Viola Giordino (she's old and rich...hopefully she'll die of natural causes and leaves big money to Malandor before he gets tired of looking at her and gets rid of her).
Two adopted children, Sofia and Samuel. They live in LakeView Manor.
Somewhat honourable assassin, if you pay him, he stays paid (loyal to his employer). Recently he discovered his Listener. He also purchased Vindrell Hall as a place to get away from his family.
When working, he wears full shrouded set. In public, plain clothes or scaled armour. His favourite weapons is bow, his self-enchanted twin Scimitars named Left and Right (hey, how else he can remember which one goes which hand...) and Mehune's Razor.

Currently he's investigating Forsworn conspiracy for the Jarl Igmund. (That's how I'm roleplaying it.. Igmund can't get directly involved nor to have people found out he had anything to do with it. So, he's using Eltrys as agent/front/scrapegoat. (Eltrys doesn't look like a man who had 1600 septims in his pockets)). The money comes from Jarl, but Eltrys has his personal motives too). Igmund wants to get rid of Forsworn and lessen Silver-Bloods' influence in town.

Re: Your Skyrim Character(s)

Post by Gengar »

Here's my character, Tyyra Bloodsparkle (long story about her name, haha). I'm playing her as a full roleplay, though I'm still fleshing out her backstory.

Name: Tyyra Bloodsparkle
Race: Nord
Birthplace: Unknown, Skyrim (raised in Bruma, Cyrodiil)
Sex: Female
Age: 21
Alignment: Good
Factions: Companions, Mages' College, Thieves' Guild, Greybeards, Imperial Legion, Dawnguard

Personality: Very eager and naturally adventurous. Prone to making reckless decisions based on what she feels in her heart. Usually very cheerful and outgoing, loves to meet people and make friends, and becomes very despondent when she upsets someone she likes. Her natural curiosity gets her into trouble often. She is brave to a fault, and often charges into battle without properly sizing up the situation. Appears not to take things very seriously, and people often say she has a childlike view of the world. Can be said to be more than a little scatterbrained at times. She just wants to make the whole world happy, but is either unaware of how impossible this is, or unwilling to realise it. Her upbringing in the cosmopolitan province of Cyrodiil left her without the characteristic Nord bigotry, and she has a great curiosity about other cultures, particularly Dunmer and Argonians, with whom she sympathised greatly during her travels in Skyrim. She can be a mite haughty and overconfident at times, and a little too optimistic for her own good. In speech, she is often sarcastic, playful, and a bit too effervescent. Speaking to her has been compared to speaking with a child, though she has demonstrated remarkable wisdom on occasion, and does have a capacity for seriousness when the situation calls for it.

Backstory:
Spoiler:
Tyyra Bloodsparkle was born to Nord parents somewhere in Skyrim, though she doesn't remember where. Her father was a former sellsword, and her mother was an adventurer, like her, and they met by chance during their travels. During her infancy, Tyyra's parents realised that adventuring was too dangerous a life for their newborn daughter, and they decided it was time to settle down. The family relocated to Cyrodiil, and set up a small shop in Bruma, selling the various treasures they'd accumulated in their many travels, and Tyyra's father also became a blacksmith and freelance trainer in swordsmanship. Despite having given up adventuring, Tyyra's parents never lost that spirit, and instilled it in their young daughter. Their stories fascinated her, and her dream became to see the entire world, so that she could have stories to tell her children.

Life was peaceful and happy for the the young Tyyra, and she would go on to remember it fondly. Eventually, the young girl came of age, and she could no longer stand seeing the same old scenery every day, the urge to see the world was too strong. Her parents knew they could not hold her back. Though worried for her safety, they let her go. She was a competent swordsman, if a bit green, thanks to her father's training. Her mother had also shown her a thing or two about surviving in the wild, and with this knowledge she set out. She began her journey in Cyrodiil, exploring the northern areas. Eventually her curiosity got the better of her, and she decided she wanted to see her native Skyrim, to see the places her parents had told her about. By this point, and unbeknownst to her, the Civil War was raging in Skyrim, and the borders were closed. Not being given to rational thought, Tyyra decided to jump the border, and landed right in the middle of a Stormcloak raiding party with none other than Ulfric Stormcloak, just as it was being ambushed by an Imperial trap. She was captured as a rebel, and taken to Helgen, and that's where her amazing adventure would begin...
Abilities: Very capable blacksmith, thanks to her upbringing as an apprentice in her father's shop. Natural swordsman, preferring short and longswords to axes and hammers (though she will occasionally use her trusty Dawnguard axe). She enjoys archery, but could use some practise as she is still very green. She is still a novice to magic and alchemy, and knows nothing of enchanting. She is decent at sneaking, but prefers open combat.

Relationships: Adopted Sophie of Windhelm and Lucia of Whiterun, and loves them dearly. She wishes to instil in them the same adventuring spirit that her parents instilled in her. She travels with a party of friends she's met along her journeys which include Uthgerd the Unbroken, Serana of Volkihar, Derkeethus, Teldryn Sero, and J'Zargo.

Religion: Her parents were both devout worshippers of the Nine Divines, and particularly Talos, and she holds the same beliefs. As a smith, she also has close ties to Zenithar.

Tero Indarys
Race: dunmer
Year of Birth: 4E 152
Place of Birth: Cheydinhal
Class: uuh, this is hard..battle mage? (more battle than mage though)...knight that occasionally uses magic? I call him tank
Current level: 34
Civil War: neutral, leaning towards Imperial
Family: Adopted daughter Lucia, looking for suitable dunmer female for a wife. Follower: Derkeethus
Main residence: Lakeview Manor
Armour: currently mismatched set of steel, steel plate and Nordic Carved..will switch to Nordic Carved when he gets all the pieces collected.
Weapons: Two-handed greatsword (enchanted of course) Nordic bow + Dragonbane and flimsy glass shield
I created him to get finally thru the main quest... still gets sidetracked. MQ is in Season Unending-stage.

History: Tero was born in Cheydinhal as an illegitame child for Farwil Indarys. His mother was refugee from Morrowind, who worked in a Inn. They had a brief affair and some nine months later she appeared to court with bundle, a newborn baby boy. The count wasn't happy when Tero was presented to him. But he didn't have that many offsprings, and Farwil seemed reclutant to actully produce any legitame heir, so he grudgingly accepted the baby to House Indarys. That was also last time anybody heard of his mother. When growing up, Tero was told she left him. From servants, he learned that her leaving wasn't exactly voluntary....
Growing up as [&@%!] in a Count's court wasn't easy. Servants felt sorry for him and he actully spent more time with them. He learned the basics of smithing from the Castle's blacksmith, guards taught him how to fight. Court manners were drilled in to him with the help of ear cuffs.
Tero Indarys continued his life as despised member of the court untill one day about year ago, his grandfather presented him a woman...he was arranging a marriage for Tero. Tero took one look of the supposed bride and told the old count where he can stuff this marriage. He left.
First he ended up to Imperial City, falling to drinking and gambling, he lost what little property he had taken with him from Cheydinhal. Then he wandered to Bruma, where he tried to earn honest living as a Smith. But the local smith's didn't like competition. Something drew him further North and he arrived to Skyrim, just in time to get caught in Imperial ambush with some Stormcloaks.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: Milady Winter
Race: nord
Age: around thirties... Never ask lady's age
Class: spellsword
Birthplace: Skyrim, Shor's Stone
Current level 40 ( since I level naturally, no grinding or cheats, it means she's done a lot)
family: daughter Sofia, living in Vlindrel hall under watchful eye of Argis
owns property all over Skyrim
Civil war: stormcloaks all the way
Armor: full Glass set improved to legendary, for home and town visits: fine boots, expert robes of conjuration, Vokun, Gauldur amulet + whole lot of other encanted jewelry
Weapons: bow of paralyzing, scimitar of soultrapping, few daggers, Ebony blade ( not for fighting) and Ghost blade if I manage to find it, it got missplaced
Skills: enchanting, smithing, conjuration, one handed, light armour

Milady Winter is definently living on the dark side, a ruthless killer and zealot stormcloack. She does have gentler, kind side too and is loyal and generous to her friends. She is pragmatic, and worships any deity or even daedra if it benefits _her_. Recently she finished the lost legends - quest. During the battle against Gauldursson brothers, one of them Shouted her and she glitched thru that barrier which separates the rest of them from the room where the series of battle take place. Stuck on that ledge, she could only use summons and scrolls ( bane of the undead was particulary useful) to defeat the brothers. She's done Boethia's calling, but since she doesn't wear heavy armour, the prize is useless to her. She was caught in that Imperial ambush when she was actually on her way to join the Stormcloaks. she is also doing the Collage of Winterhold Questline.
She is fun, wicked character to play.

Shani (no known last name, so she calls herself Shani of Shadows.
race: dunmer
year of birth: ???
Place of birth: ???
Age: young for dunmer
Class: ??? (stelthy-fighter)
Current level: 42
Civil War: neutral
Family: two adopted children Runa and Blaise, husband Benor. Current followers Teldryn Sero and Riekling aka "the little fellow".
Main residence: Severin Manor, Windstad Manor
Armour: full Blackguard's set from Glover Malory, dunmer-outfit for home and towns. Wears also Ahzidal's ring of Arcana and necklace to regenerate health, occasionally slips on enchanted circled.
Weapons: Two bows (one chaos-encanted other soul-trap enchanted), Bloodscythe and Soulrender, Dawnbreaker and Spellbreaker, few staves for backup.
Factions: Arch-Mage of College of Winterhold, Thieves Guild (not done the questline past Loud and Clear), destroyer of Dark Brotherhood, Champion of Raven Rock and defeater of Miraak. MQ is in Alduin Wall -stage.

Shani doesn't know who she is or where she comes from. Her earliest memories are from almost adult, she lived as beggar and thief and went from town to town (hence her joining Thieves guild). She ended up Skyrim, was caught in ambush and nearly beheaded by imperials. After her escape from Helgen, she has taken out Dark Brotherhood and become Arch-Mage (without using much magic btw :D ). She travelled with Erandur for a long while and developed feelings for him. But when she found out he wasn't going to marry her (darn priest's and celibacy wows) she was crushed and heart broken and pretty much just took first man that came across her. That happened to be Benor. She would happily switch him to Teldryn Sero now but she's a good person and can't break her marital bonds.
She's in generally good hearted and helpful. After she arrived to Solstheim, she learned more of herself, her racial background and started to feel like she's found a home. She came back to Skyrim but misses Solstheim, to the point she's neglecting her family. She still have some unfinished business in Solstheim, so she'll be back there as soon as she gets rid of some misc. quests in Skyrim.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Do'Radza

race: khajit
year of birth: ???
Place of birth: Elsweyr
Age: ?
Class: thief (he sees himself as warrior-thief)
Current level: 24
Civil War: neutral
Family: Meeko
Main Residence: Honeyside, Cistern, working on Lakeview Manor
Armour: full Thieves guild-set (plain clothes and gloves of Purgalist for town visits, several enchanted necklaces and rings for different use: fortify lockpicking, pickpoceting, stamina, archery, regenerate health).
Weapons: Chillrend and Nightingale Blade, few daggers, darwen bow
best skill: sneak

Do'radza was created to do the Thieves guild- storyline (hasn't started the MQ). He came to Skyrim with a khajit caravan. Going ahead to scout the land, he was caught in imperial ambush along with some stormcloaks. After escaping Helgen, one of the first things he tried to do, was locate his caravan... And he did found them, they had been hit with bandits and slain. (That actually happened, a random encounter on that road from Helgen to Ivarstead: two or three up turned wagons, several dead khajits and three or four bandits). Do'Radza revenged his kinsman and is now carrying a grudge against those murdering highway bandits (no bandit camp is safe from him). It's one thing to steal someone's money or valuables, whole another thing to murder and kill to get their property.

First character I stuck with past lvl 20 (Finìan):
Spoiler:
Name: Finìan
Race: Bosmer
Origin: Elden Root, Valenwood
Faction: College of Winterhold, Thieves Guild, Imperial Legion
Class: Archer/Mage
Job/Lifestyle: Merchant, Imperial Envoy, Explorer
Current planned character:
Name: Orinel
Race: Altmer
Age: <young, for a high elf>
Class: Mage
Factions: The College of Winterhold
Standing Stone: Atronach/Mage (haven't decided yet)
Equipment: Mage robes of some kind and an Amulet of Auri-El/Akatosh. He also carries a dagger, a number of books, and a staff quite often.
Notes: Orinel is interested in the schools of Destruction and Restoration, as well as defensive magics. He is intrigued by religion and history, and hopes to perform studies into both topics whilst in Skyrim.

Name: Chaos
Race/Gender: Khajiit/Female
Style: Kind of a mage...thief. One-handed, Light Armor, Destruction, Sneak, Pickpocket, Speech.
Story: Chaos lived in Elsweyr and her parents were often away, traveling. One day, when they were in Skyrim, they were killed, and Chaos traveled there for a proper funeral along with her brother J'aivk. Along the way, they were separated by a bandit raid in the middle of the night while they were nearly to Skyrim. J'aivk escaped to Cyrodiil, but Chaos got to the border of Skyrim. Unfortunately, the guards at the border searched her and found Skooma. She was promptly arrested and, having no money, sent along to execution (so the start of the game.)

Dulgar Stormblade: Nord
Factions: Dawnguard
Right now im doing a Dwemer student following the work of Calcemo. Im turning my house (Herjerchan Hall) into a small Dwemer museum. I only use Dwemmer weapons and armor except for a staff of Storm Atrinoch and lightning magic. My staff (stewards, housecarls, Followers) all also use only dwemer weapons except crossbows till I get Dwemer crossbows. I intend to investigate all dwemer locations even if by dubious methods. (meaning wooden plates and whirlwind sprint) Im not interested in the theives guild or other quest required to get in correctly. I think the character has found a magic way to use his shout that the grey beards never thought of.

Hubby thinks I'm crazy, but yes, I bought the legendary edition of Skyrim, for PS3 (and yes, we have both PS3 and Xbox).
Now I can explore Dawnguard, which I don't have for Xbox. It also means I have two new characters to introduce:

Name: Kyra Frostblade
Race: Nord
Class: Barbarian/berserker
Age: around 20
current level: 4
Currently wears and wields: stormcloak cuirass, fur boots, hide bracers, hunting bow and two handed steel battleaxe.

Fiery and passionate redhead, she's born in Bruma and came to Skyrim to look for possible kin living there. Her battle strategy is simple: rush into the thickest of the fight, swinging very big battleaxe. I'm surprised she hasn't actually died once yet.

Name: Kalima Serano
Race: dunmer
Class: Sorceress
Age: around 200 years, give or take a decade
Current level: 2
Currently wears and wields: Iron armor (it looks hideous: a rusty piece of junk and will be replaced as soon as she founds something better), iron boots, novice hood and imperial bracers, steel dagger, hunting bow.
Favourite attack so far is dual wielding flames or sparks spells.

Cold and cynical, she has dark hair and she is also dark by nature.

Now, take a guess which one will pick which side? Shouldn't be too hard :)
