My beef isn't with the extra storage costing money, it's with nintendo charging you to do something you could do with every single other pokemon game for completely free.

Btw my Black 2 is giving me the dreaded "The save data cannot be accessed" message. There isn't any fix for this is there

Same. All I wanted was the Celebi. I didn't have any mons to transfer over. I'm not sure where they all went. I know I had some that I was pretty attached to, and I could've sworn they were in my Black version, but I checked and found a newly created save file with nothing but a Snivy Smugleaf and a couple other [&@%!] mons I didn't care about.

Hunting for a shiny Mareep right now. I love Mareep so much. Had to put the Ralts hunt on hold because I was so frustrated. Got a shiny Cresselia in a giveaway thread on /vp/ today, though. Pretty happy about that.

So you might've already heard of this, because it's been going for four days, but it's pretty amusing/interesting. Twitch has a setup where it's streaming a game of Pokemon Red/Blue, and whenever a basic Gameboy command is entered in the chatbox, the game will do that.

As you can imagine, it's pretty crazy - more so the more people that are in it. So a lot of it, naturally, is the character walking in circles and the Start menu popping up and going away. The other day they were at 40something hours, with about 8,000 people present, and struggling to get through the door of the burglarized house in Cerulean to make it down to Vermillion, and they almost made it to Vermillion finally.... and all their Pokemon fainted at the last trainer before the town so they had to make it down there again from Cerulean. As I'm watching this now, they're at 4 days 1 hr, with 57,000 people watching, and they've just defeated Erika in Celadon City and are trying to make it out of the gym. I'm amazed they've made it so far, through Mt. Moon for instance.

I was so close to snatching a shiny Cacnea from the GTS. The guy wanted a regular Charizard for it.

Caught two shinies in the Friend Safari. One Masquerain in Kestral's Friend Safari (thonx beb) and one Pikachu in Unionhack's Friend Safari. The Masquerain I kept, but the Pikachu I threw onto the GTS for a Ho-oh. It seriously got traded in like three minutes. I was expecting a really really long wait.

Moral of the story is, Friend Safaris are the way to go for shiny hunting. If only I could find a Mareep Safari.

I just beat Pokemon Red for the first time ever. Even better is the fact that my pokemon were 20 levels down from my rival's. Taking advantage of type effectiveness ftw. (The victory was having my level 43 Gyarados use surf on his level 65 Charizard, which had used Rage two turns earlier, so there was nothing he could do to stop me.)
