Pwning N00bs
Do you guys switch to certain weapons to deliver the final blow to downed enemies? I often switch to a dagger or even my bare hands sometimes to finish enemies off.. The unarmed kill cams are really cool.

Re: Pwning N00bs
I sometimes carry two enchanted weapons, one with an elemental enchantment for getting an enemy's health down, and a soul trap weapon for the killing blow. And then I usually end up forgetting about the soul trap weapon until it's too late

I used to have the same problem.Dark Heart wrote:I sometimes carry two enchanted weapons, one with an elemental enchantment for getting an enemy's health down, and a soul trap weapon for the killing blow. And then I usually end up forgetting about the soul trap weapon until it's too late
Then I enchanted a dragonbone warhammer with Soultrap (1 sec).
One-hit souls guaranteed, especially black souls from lower level Forsworn and bandits.

Re: Pwning N00bs
been a long time since I had a good Dragon Kill cam. Dual wielding is a good way to finish off the bandits.

Re: Pwning N00bs
Thanks for mentioning that. I'll remember your suggestion if I ever get my hands on a dragonbone weapon. Then again, my current characters aren't likely to ever get the dragon smithing perk. Might be time to revive my Stormcloak pure warrior; she was the smithing type.ElGreg wrote:I used to have the same problem.Dark Heart wrote:I sometimes carry two enchanted weapons, one with an elemental enchantment for getting an enemy's health down, and a soul trap weapon for the killing blow. Thank you! It's weird, I had no idea that such an enchantment existed. I looked it up on the wiki, and it seems that I have for some reason never been to Ironbind Barrow. I'll definitely have to remember taking my Dunmer there once she's done with her business on Solstheim. Until then I'll rely on my trusted method of having my follower carry the empty soul gems and the soul trap weapon.Regin wrote:Fiery soultrapDark Heart wrote:I sometimes carry two enchanted weapons, one with an elemental enchantment for getting an enemy's health down, and a soul trap weapon for the killing blow. Can be another high quality 2-hander, or one-hander (sword, axe or mace) for that matter.Dark Heart wrote: Thanks for mentioning that. As long as you can one-hit a bandit you're good

Re: Pwning N00bs
Yeah,I used to do that when the kill cam was new.The first time I saw the unarmed one it caught me by surprise because I wasn't the one doing the killing.I was running from a bunch of angry dragur over at Archwind Point and my path crossed with a pretty buff bandit that smashed my head into a rock with one move.It was impresive,so impresive in fact I just quit on my former playthrough and made a new character "specialized" in unarmed combat.ElderSkillz wrote:Do you guys switch to certain weapons to deliver the final blow to downed enemies?
