Well, the new amplified biome option inspired me to take up my largest city project yet.

I only use 64x64. Anything above that destroys fps if you don't have a good chunk of ram.

Vendetta, nice build. I can see it not that far of a step to build a dwarven city within the landscape. As per a walkpath? You could try a fancy, run down bridge that lies beneath it with stylized pillars

I don't think we really want amplified for the server. -8352000455664101828 seems like a nice seed; start in a sunflower plain bordered by 2 deserts, a savannah and a forest. Do we want a seed with a village, though, like Yueespee?

After watching a video about Amplified I think I agree that it would be fun for a bit, but then get old, especially if we're trying to build a village.

Do we want regular sized biomes, or large biomes?

The problem with Amplified is you need a 'beefy' computer if you want to get things going smoothly>_> it puts alot more strain on the data, alot more blocks are generated.. and it's generally hard to travel. Amplified is best for solo or group fun.. it's less common for servers.. unless of course that's the intent<_< after all, it was originally made to cater to the chaotic landscape you would see in older installments that ppl enjoyed

I say nah to the Amplified. It's awesome, it's amazing.. but not all computers can get by with.. hell mine currently wouldn't even last long with doing vanilla<_<

Here. Basically Googled searched for "sunflower plains minecraft seed", 'cause I thought it'd be a nice biome to start in. I'm certainly up for others, though.
