Rough Seas Redux: A Tale of Pirates and More!

"We'll head west and find somewhere to lay low for a few days." Sally informed her crew. "Whatever they were, I hope we never encounter them again." She told Isabel as she put her flintlock away. "I need a drink." Sally uttered under her breath.

"Have we lost them?" said Henry.

"It look as that way," Matthew said as he scanned the horizon.

Avery walked into the security room "Damn right we do, what the hell are those things, I've never seen a ship that size, even in the Chinese Treasure fleet!" he exclaimed

Sally
Some days later, Sally and her crew arrived upon a small island, home to little more than a small unarmed pirate village. Amazingly, many of her crew had seemed to had forgotten their adventure at Nassau.
The Lady Lucine
The Lady had managed to escape the clutches of the attacking fleet, this time. "Captain, where are we off to now?" One of the more experienced crew members asked.

"We'll resupply and lay low for a few days." Sally informed her crew as they arrived at the island. She had held funerals for her dead crew during the past few days and had commited their bodies to the sea. "We'll repair the [&@%!] and try to sell the mortars. They're nothing bit pieces of [&@%!] that miss most of the time. But if you feel that we should keep them, say aye." She told her crew.

[Kerr]

"I advise we report what happened to the navy. We've never seen ships like those before. They could raid more settlements or attack ships, merchant and otherwise. People need to be prepared for them." said Henry who was now standing next to the Captain.

Leon, after gathering himself up, saw the small fire "That can't be good..." Seeing the supply of rum, he chose to try and deuce the flame with one of the barrels.

"A wise suggestion," Matthew said, "One that we will surely be rewarded for. Set sail for the nearest naval port!"

"Aye, Captain!" The crewmember yelled out as men set to work, charting their course and lowering sails.

Four days later, the ship floated into Kingston harbor. Workers and merchants bustled on the docks, while ships came and went. Luckily, no one came to greet them at their ship this time.

Sally
Isabel nodded and set the crew into motion, each man having their own duty in repairing the ship. After orders had been given, Isabel motioned to Sally. "Ma'am, would like to go ashore and sell the cannons yourself?" she asked.

Don Leon
The rum set the once harmless flame into a roaring inferno, quickly consuming the entire wall it was located on. Black smoke billowed forth, obscuring Don's vision, but in the distance, he could here the cannon fire ease up a bit.

Avery, Francis, Allen, William
Suddenly, this ship tilted heavily to the starboard side. Items slid and fell, men yelled from outside on the deck. Moments later, a great 'BOOM' was heard.

Elias, being the only one to remain on his own ship, was able to witness the great ship draw alongside the Imperator, dwarfing it in its presence.

"I would." Sally told her first mate in a polite manner and smiled at her. "Would you like to accompany me?" She asked Isabel. She wouldn't mind if the declined her offer. She hoped she could off load the mortars for a decent price and had intended on doing so back in Nassau.

Personality: Aidan, though a former drunk, is now an honorable and loyal man. While he is cold to those he is not familiar with, he is warmer to those he knows well. He has no problems with killing people, though he avoids it when he can.
Weapons and related skills: Most skilled with his Dual-wields Cutlass blades, and has a flintlock pistol with a modest amount of skill with it. Also has a combat knife.
Apparel: Aidan wears a white lace up shirt with its sleeves rolled up, a pair of black pants and black boots. Over his shirt he wears a long, black leather coat, with a black, cloth hood attached. His Scimitar blades are positioned on his back so they don't get in his way while he is running.
Backstory (At least a basic one.): Aidan Turner was born in Ireland on the eastern country side in a small village. His family was always poor and all he wanted from the time he was a teenager was to grow old, have money, a wife, and children and give his children what he didn't have. His father was a drunken fisherman and his mother was working at a local pub. From the young age of 17, Aidan wanted to leave home and all Ireland for that matter. When he was 18, an older friend of his gave him that chance. This friend of his was a First mate on a pirate ship called The Damned Serpent. Aidan accepted this offer without looking back, as he despised his own life, particularly his drunken father. And so Aidan traveled the seas with his old friend. Before he knew it, they had crossed the Atlantic and were now spending most of their time in the Caribbean. Aidan found that his new home was indeed the Pirate haven of Nassau. But the Captain of the ship was cold hearted. If a crew member did the slightest thing to displease him (which in this case could be anything), he was cut down by the Captain. One day Aidan awoke on the beach of Nassau, not remembering a thing that had happened, not knowing the fate of his old ship or his friends, but he never saw them again. He had been left for dead. He headed for the city of Nassau and spent his next few years there as a part time drunk, part time mercenary for any pirate captain that would have him. Slowly he gave up his drinking ways, and awaited a day he could find a ship to call home again.

"Yes, ma'am." Isabel nodded, waiting for Sally to take the lead. In front of Sally, the little town had a small general store near the docks, along with a more specialized harbormaster who was bound to buy and sell in ship related items.

Sally gave Isabel a friendly smile and started to make her way towards the docks.

He started to panic from the flames, his vision limited, and ran over to another barrel to try and extinguish the flames once more. As his hands gripped on it, about to tip it over, he recalled just exactly why the flame went ablaze. "Yohohoho, where did my brain go?" He knocked on his skull, as if expecting an echo, and succeeded in not repeating the same mistake "If I don't want to be cooked to the bone, I better get out of here.." He started to scurry outside, with his signature laugh to be heard.

"So, who'll go to meet the Navy?" said Henry when they finally arrived at port.

"You and I," Matthew said, "The rest of you get some rest, you're probably going to need it."

Leo gave a small chuckle. "Sleep came easy. Sleep is not needed for I. What shall I do, perhaps gather information, perhaps, that would be useful for the pirates yes?"

"Yes," Matthew said, "And this time, don't go killing anyone- these people pay us."
