Mu nodded curtly at Threes, his face still showing of grim determination. "That is your opinion and your vote," he said. "I can tell you that I am not a cultist, however." He looked down at his ash-covered hands. "Lara was not killed in her room," he said. "I did not fail at my watch over her door. Her soul was destroyed elsewhere."

"As is the way of necromancy" said threes. "I retract my vote, but why are you so eager to change the subject? You would have had the right chance to steal whatever object was anchoring her, even if it was not your hand that destroyed it. It is clear to us now that Lara saved the first of us to fall" he said. "Do'vah" that was his vote, he left

"Do'vah believes Mu could have easily killed her but would have been very foolish to. Do'vah knows that Mu can vouch for Do'vah drinking himself to sleep." Do'vah told the others.

"I can not truly vouch for anyone but myself," Mu said in response. He wondered why Threes would ask him a question and then just leave without allowing him to answer. It was strange.

"Do'vah was mistaken but hopes that everyone will realise that he is innocent." Do'vah said as tears continued to flow down his cheeks. "Do'vah believes Three is also up to something for he has just left." He added afterwards.

"I do not believe Do'vah to be guilty," Mu said. "Out of all of us he has shown the most emotion. Ba'Lee, however, has been cold through this whole ordeal. I would ask you all reconsider your votes." He then went to look for a broom and dustpan.

Tatur considered for a moment, mulling over the drink he'd poured himself.
"You speak honorable words, Mu. I share your assertion that Do'vah is likely not guilty. However, I still believe Runs-With-Dunmer to be guilty."

"You have a good point," said Darba, "But Ba'Lee is most likely not going to be in any state to murder anyone tonight regardless of whether he's a cultist. That leaves six potential immediate threats - well, seven, if each of us counts ourselves, which I don't. Personally, I think that at least one of Do'vah, Four threes, and One-Shadow must be a worshipper. They keep suspecting each other, and logically one of them must be right. But as for which one... you know, perhaps you're right about Do'vah. I'll change my vote to Four threes."

Do'vah remained quiet as he continued to cry silently. He drank more of the mead.

"Do'vah is going to change his vote to four threes. One Sahdow is still in here and whilst this one suspects him. He can not ignore threes leaving. Do'vah believes that one is a worshipper." Do'vah said to everyone as he cried silently. "Do'vah will mourn for Lara now." He sadly told the others and drank the mead before sobbing into his arms.

"Once again you are making a mistake," Runs-with-Dunmer hissed, "our time is running short, and I am beginning to wonder if any of you truly have the will to remain alive. You forget that at this rate we have no more than two days before we are all killed off. Now is not the time to condemn ourselves by this folly."

"Out of this one, One-Sahdow and four threes, Do'vah was attacked recently. Four Threes seems to be up to something and one Sahdow either dislikes Do'vah or is trying to get this one killed." Do'vah sadly said through his tears whilst looking up from his arms. "Do'vah wonders if Four Threes was behind his attack." He said before resuming his sobbing into his arms.

Mu sighed. "At a tie we would let chance decide fate," he said. "Since I believe Do'vah to be innocent I will change my vote to Four Threes. I am sorry."

Re: The Molag Bal Game XVII
The voting seemed to have come down against Four threes. The rising tension in the village was leading the decisions more narrow, with the town's victim not even receiving a majority of the votes.
The town was filled with various discontent grumbles as they went to restrain the argonian, few being sure if it was the right move, and with their time running out. Yet the people of Uthenni went about their grisly work, only to be stopped by a blinding flash of green light.
The air stilled for a moment, no one spoke, for no one could speak. The spark of sentient life left the eyes of everyone. As one, every person breathed out their long-held breath, and then they took a new breath in unison. Another moment passed. Again in perfect symmetry, all the residents voiced one thought: "Kill Musahkiin"
Musahkiin did not show any sign of struggle as he shuffled to the gallows. A guard was unnecessary, for he had agreed to his own demise as well. He even tied the rope himself, with no sign of dread, or enthusiasm about the task. With the instrument of his death connected securely to his neck, the Nord calmly strode off of the platform, and hanged himself to the emotionless crowd.
The spell broke at once, after Musahkiin had departed.
Musahkiin has been sentenced to the gallows by foul magic of persuasion. He was not a cultist, although he was:

Re: The Molag Bal Game XVII
Tatur stood there, unmoving, not sure how to interpret what had just happened. They'd been taking Four-Threes to the gallows, but now Mu, the Nord, hung there instead. He looked about. "Where is the one we chose? Where is Four-Threes?", he thought. His mind reeling at whatever betrayal had just occurred, he lashed out at a nearby wooden post, splintering the wood with a single blow. With a final sigh and a deep growl, he stalked off toward his smithy.
