So as the title suggests I'm looking for a fight, only problem is I've reached that point in the game where I've already done it all. My guy is level 65, I've slain Alduin, Ulfric, Elenwen, Miraak, Ildari, Karstaag, countless dragons and daedra, all of the dragon priests both on Skyrim and Solstheim, and an even more uncountable number of bandits/reavers and Thalmor(including all their officers from Ancano to Ancarion).
Solstheim has been explored to death at this point, save for Kagrumez, and the same can be said for Skyrim, hell Ive even speelunkered around Blackreach 4 times already and have rendered the Falmer population to zero there. I only have the guild quests left to complete but i usually do a one character for each scenario, and at this point have completed the mages guild and Thieves Guild.
I dont want to start Dawnguard, either as I'd like to do those quests with other characters. And honestly have no interest in getting to level 80 to fight the Ebony Warrior.
The only thing I'm really looking for is some form of an arena substitute. Is there any place in Skyrim where I can fight an endless wave of enemies, similar to a survival mode?
And is Soul Cairn like such a place, or at the very least holds a large population of enemies. And if it does, does it require me to go very deep into the Dawnguard questline or can i just stumble upon it like the blackbooks to Apocorypha.
More or Less, I'm just looking for a place to fight an army.

There's a lot in the soul cairn, the reaper and yes, there's more or less an army there, but you need to do a fair bit of dawnguard I'm afraid

Re: Need a Challenge
Sadly their not all too strong<_< and while the Cairn is large, alot of it is empty. If you really want a challenge, handicap yourself, reinvest your style, or change the difficulty. Really I'm at the same point as you, done everything, killed everything, got everything. So the only way I ever have fun is crank my difficulty to Legendary and hunt down Falmer, or maybe box with a giant

Re: Need a Challenge
In the latest patch they added the skill reset feature - reset smithing and level it back up again with fortify restoration boosted stuff will take a few minutes to get to level 80 to face the Ebony Warrior.
he remains one of three things to kill my altmeri main at full strength - Karstaag and Dwemer ballistae automatons being the other two.
Beyond that, nothing in vanilla base game can help really. If you were/are on PC its different though.

Re: Need a Challenge
Challenge may be the wrong choice of words. Honestly its more like Im itching for a fight, than a challenge exactly. I just want to fight large groups of enemies and simply decimate their numbers.
Its like my character has gotten so powerful I just want to go no hold bars on an army of enemies, but theres little point in wasting dragon aspect and storm call on 4-5 bandits.
I just feel like Im in control of a Ferrari but every where I turn theres traffic a hundred yards away, so can only put the pedal to the metal for short periods of time.
Hope that clarifies my question

Re: Need a Challenge
I suppose what you could do, if you are on the PC, is to use the console and spawn tons of enemies to fight.
Re: Need a Challenge
It would be veeery nice to have a army of dredlords somewhere in the planes of whiterun, that woul be a hell of a fun for spelcasters.

Re: Need a Challenge
You could kill all the "enemies" in the dark brotherhood or the thieves guilds. What about the Forsworn, don't they respawn?
Do it with loincloth. That would be interesting.

Re: Need a Challenge
Only gets more frustrating when reading up on what could have been the arena's. I knew something felt missing in this game, and it only took me til now to realize, not that it detracts from the game, as Skyrim is hands down my favorite game of all time.
But still something to sate the bloodlust would have been appreciated
