Backstory:
Laksmi was born in what would have been modern day India, but such things matter little due simply to the fact that there is now just one earth and one people for all intents and purposes. She was born into a large family, with eight children total all of which enlisted into the military as per family tradition. Laksmi wanted to continue the tradition but she is a pacifist, not due to her beliefs but simply due to the fact that she could never bring herself to harm an individual. Thus she became a surgeon for the EF fleet, making a name for herself with her knack for understanding others and surprising ease at which as does her work.

"Why would you even bring that thing?" Suzaku asked disdainfully, nudging the synthetic with his foot, "Can it do anything except make noise?"

[The SheoDovah]

"Because he is my loyal pet." Lucy informed the man. Rexy ignored the man that had just nudged him with his foot. "And i wouldn't nudge him if i were you." She told the man. "Or attack him. Just in case the self defence programs activate and he has a very tight grip." She warned him.

Justice is taking a small break from DMing due to life being a bit [&@%!] towards him at the moment. He just needs time and i think he will return in the next few days.

I'd guessed as much. Just figured we could get some character interaction in before it really starts up.

"You mean you programmed him to be loyal." Suzaku said darkly, "He's nothing more than a living chunk of metal and circuits."

[The SheoDovah]

"How dare you." Lucy told the man in an offended tone. She hated it when people put him down as a souless mechinical beast. mainly because she loved Rexy.

[Rook]

"How dare I do what? Tell you the truth?" Suzaku replied blankly, "No matter what you say, he's still just a synthetic. Nothing can change that."

[The SheoDovah]

"Well sorry for treating him like a pet!" Lucy told the man in the same offended and now sarcastic tone. "I'll change his name back to the default name and just refer to him as his model's name. Whilst i'm at it, i'll stop using him to keep myself company in my quarters. And just focus on the gertkin most likely killing us all in a painful manner." She told the man. She knew she was overreacting but she hated being told that Rexy was just a robot. Due to her love of her loyal dog.

"Yes, you do that." Suzaku said, crossing his arms, "It would probably be better for everyone."

He fell silent, he'd said all he needed to.

Yeah sorry about that guys, lot's of crap in life at the moment and that's on top of all the hussle and bustle of Christmas.

An Enforcer marched over to the group of new arrivals. He had a single star on his chest- a Captain.
"Looks like I'm the lucky [&@%!] who gets to show you around."

A few hours later was the time the crew came to know as downtime. During this two hour period before the night cycle on the ship, they were free to do as they wish.
The Enforcers had just finished their tour and were stood in a corridor.
"Bunks are the doors to your right, two to each bunk. Male and Female sharing is allowed. Fraternisation between Enforcers in the same unit is strictly forbidden- as you all know," The Enforcer Captain said in a monotone and robotic fashion.

[The SheoDovah]

Lucy gave the enforcer a salute and asked "What's the rules regarding pets?" Rexy was sitting at her side and staring at the enforcer in a curious manner. Lucy had put him on silent mode during the tour to avoid the friendly dog disrupting it.

[Archer]

Daniel looked in confusion at Lucy. "It's not like it matters, we don't have any pets..."

[The SheoDovah]

"True but Rexy is techincally a pet." Lucy said to Daniel. "And i kinda forgot to check the rulebook regarding pets." She told him.

[Justice knight]

"It's synthetic," The Enforcer said, "Standard rules apply, it remains with you or in your bunk at all times. If it comes into contact with any Gerktin technology, it is destroyed immediately."

[The SheoDovah]

"Understood." Lucy said to the Enforcer and enabled Rexy to make noise again. He let out a happy bark and looked at his mistress. "After i've sorted out the bunk." She reassured the dog. She knew he wanted to play fetch.

[Archer]

Daniel shook his head slightly, before at the Captain. "So, we just pick a bunk? Sir." he asked, filling the last word with as much distaste as he could muster.

[Hissien]

Rose took a seat in the common area normally reserved for mealtimes and was writing in her journal, or rather digital journal, paper would take up far too much space on the vessel.

[Dan-Ru]

Zhao looked down at the synthetic dog with a rather remote expression. He was trying to decide whether the Mechromancer's doting love for the robot was irritating or mildly amusing.

"You pick your rooms," The Enforcer said, "You've got two hours until it's the night shift on the ship, I recommend you get a good rest before we get to Venus tomorrow."

"I'll take the 3rd one on the left." Lucy told the Enforcer and walked towards it. Rexy followed her whilst wagging his tail. "Fetch later." She reassured the robodog.

[Archer]

"And it has to be two to a room, don't it?" Daniel muttered, already knowing the answer. "Well, anyone want to bunk up?" He asked the group.

[Rook]

"I can bunk with you," Suzaku offered blankly, "I'm guessing you're not too fond of the robot either."

[Archer]

"Not really." Daniel admitted. "So, yeah. That'll be good." He spoke as he grabbed his small bag and went into the room farthest from Lucy's.

Suzaku picked up his bag and trailed after Daniel.
