Rough Seas Redux: A Tale of Pirates and More!

[The SheoDovah]

Sally looked at where the pirates had been on the Lady before the fog had blinded her to their positions. "I'll grab my lads and help you to reclaim her." She told Matthew and went to search for her crew.

Everyone
Suddenly, a shape appeared in the fog, oddly distinct amongst the all encompassing mist. The British would notice the object first, seeming to be the shape and size of an average cask, aged and weathered. Though, as it approached Nassau it... changed.
It grew in size, quickly matching and execeeding the size of any of the Naval ships; Wood creaked and groaned as it tore apart and rearranged itself, first forming the loose shape of a ship then developing, adding all of the intricacies that would make it deadly. Enough cannons to take on an entire armada graced its sides, yet there was no crew to be seen.
All at once, everywhere, the sound of whispering filled the ears of those who listened, eerie and hushed, filled with malice and sadness. Then, silence, at least momentarily, hung in the air. Townspeople flocked to the docks, the taverns emptied, and all who could, rushed to see the mysterious new arrival.

Leon broke free from the music as it died of silence, ignorant of what occurred, he followed the crowd

[Emzi 43]

"Lord have mercy!" exclaimed Avery "What was that?"

[The SheoDovah]

"[&@%!] me." Sally said as she watched the wooden object as soon as she spotted it. She decided to take advantage of the distraction and looked for her crew. When she found them, she would attempt to reclaim her ship by launching a surprise attack on the pirates that were charged with guarding it. Don may have noticed her looking for her crew.

Every time we let him play as the British...this again?

Spoiler:

At least it's not the French anthem.

"Gather the crew," Matthew said, "I want us all together if that things start firing and we have to make a break for it."

[Kerr]

Henry was looking at the strange ship coming into harbour when he heard his Captain's orders. He nodded and went to gather the crew.

[Crepe the Ashlander]

Elias promptly [&@%!] himself a little when the mysterious ship appeared from the mist, "Right John, rally the crew, we're to meet with the other British vessels, this adventure of ours has taken a very, very disturbing turn".

John, his First-Mate, instantly turned to the crew and bellowed out of the bottom of his lungs, "Rights boyos, we're to convene with the others captains, get the ship going again!"

[Archer]

Those at the docks
Luckily for Sally, her crew had been attracted to the spectacle just like everyone else, each of them staring in awe. The same held true for the crew of the Lady Lucine, who had also returned.
As Don Leon arrived, the murmur of the crowd gave way to an odd silence. The Harbormaster had arrived behind him and was pushing his way through the crowd. "Gods, no...." He muttered before yelling at the crowd. "Everyone leave! Get away from here!" The response was hysteria. People were run down as the crowd ran, the occupying pirates following soon after.

The British
"Aye, sir!" Elias' crew shouted as they got to work putting the ship into movement. Upon the Imperator, the orders were carried out faithfully, the crew hiding their fear of this odd happening.

Everyone
Seconds after all of this, several extremely loud clicks rang forth from the behemoth, causing pain to the ears of even those on the docks. That was when hell itself rained down upon the town of Nassau, oddly ignoring the Naval fleet. Cannon fire smashed into the houses, causing unnaturally large explosions throughout, all the while a sickening laugh echoed upon the seas. It seemed those on the docks had minutes at most to escape the destruction.

[Justice knight]

"Onto the ship," Matthew said, "We can sail out under it's nose."

[The SheoDovah]

"To the [&@%!] and get her ready!" Sally ordered her crew and would run towards her ship as soon as her crew started to make their way. "Mister Leon, join us if you live!" She called to Don Leon.

Elias could just about make out some lanterns waving about in the fog, coming from the direction of Francis' ship, "I don't understand what the hell you mean man!", Elias shouted plainly in the direction of the ship the lantern motions were coming from, "Come closer, this lantern malarkey is simply dire", hoping that whoever was waving the lanterns could hear him.

[BetaB17]

Leon, slow on thought, stood there while the crowd mustered in a panic. He whistled as he eyed a cannonball whiz by into a nearby structure, then it finally dawned on him "Madre de Dios!" In an awkward scurry, he fumbled about for a place to hide. He ran to the edge of the dock, ready to jump in, only to stumble back as he realized how much he'll regret such an act. Rather he made haste to a nearby cluster of buildings, currently being turned into splintered wood, all in search for a large barrel to jump into.

[Emzi 43]

Avery saw the lanterns "Get me a boat, I'm going aboard Imperator!" he shouted to any of his crew "We need to retreat, look at that thing!" he said to his first mate "I'll see the other captains first, I'll try and convince them to fall back with us if they're suicidal enough to stay"

[Kerr]

Henry was already on the ship and more then ready to leave. "Who do you think is behind this?" said Henry.

[The SheoDovah]

"Don Leon, if you want to live, come to my ship!" Sally shouted to Don Leon after seeing him almost jumping into the sea. She had seen him do that as she ran towards her ship.

[BetaB17]

Don Leon heard nor saw anything aside from flying wood and gunpowder

Hidden:

The docks are likely a pretty big place<_< and amongst the chaos and confusion, I find it highly unlikely Leon nor most others would find, let alone shout for one another without putting in more effort*<_<

*that does not mean to try harder>_>

I thought Sally was near him. Oh well, no harm done. But you may want to take her up on the offer from earlier.

Aboard the Equaliser
Allen had his feet firmly planted on the boards of his ship; he wasn't going anywhere unless the ship itself sunk. Moving them like heavy tree trunks, the captain walked in a calculated fashion down the decks of the ship.
Somewhere in his mind, his thoughts were scrambled with fear and doubt, but all that came from his mouth were well-spoken orders for his crew. "Defensive positions! Prepare the sails for retreat! Man all cannons, and all able-bodied men, grab a rifle and head to the deck!"
