Sorry for the delay, here's the continuation. Also sorry about the quality of the write-up this time.
Another resident of the town rested peacefully despite recent events, a peace that would be interrupted soon enough. A figure approached their home, with only a quick check to see who their third victim would be. It strode to its target, ready to complete its assigned task. What happened after that was lost to time, it regained consciousness to the sound of honking, and the sight of Nanzus. Nothing that happened in between those two moments could come to its mind, only that it did not do its task. With the sun rising, the figure realized that its task was impossible to perform now, and ran to shelter. It only left behind the spot on the ground where it lay, and a discarded piece of paper, with the only text that was legible being "#3". The rest was too smudged to read.

???

The night was long, and as always, potentially fatal. The present threat did not escape the retired goose farmer, Nanzus, who lived in the town. He only took comfort in the fact that his trustworthy companion, Suzy, would alert him with a well-timed honk to any danger. Sadly, Nanzus was not telepathic, as his goose would have alerted him to the fact that she was being restrained, and that they were in mortal danger. So Nanzus slept peacefully, until his death. The goose was released in the center of the town, next to the relatively unmangled corpse of Nanzus.

Nanzus has been killed by the cultists. This poor fellow was:

The Gossip - He spied on the affairs of the other people in his town. Once per day, he was able to ask for additional information about an event that happened at night.

To describe Nanzus as being relatively uninjured required some extra context from someone truly being mauled during the night. And that is why the beast was released upon the town. Hulking, vile, and hungry, this filthy creature from some Plane of Oblivion set out to hunt a villager. It found its target fairly quickly, a heavily injured Dunmer who would fulfill hopefully fulfill its ravenous hunger.

While the daedra could not care who it ate, the little that remained would reveal that Duruza had been killed.

Duruza has been killed by the cultists.

As the sun rose, Do'vah rose with it. After taking a hit of his morning skooma, he went about his business to prepare for the day. Only well after he woke up again did the thought come to him that he was supposed to be unconscious. Realizing his mistake, he fell over once more, waiting for a more dramatic moment to spring up again, got tired of waiting, and finally decided to truly return to the land of the living.

Do'vah has regained consciousness.

It is now day.

Do'vah sat down at his usual spot in the inn and wished that he could have made a dramatic come back. "What's the point of being knocked out if this one can't wake up in front of everyone?" He muttered to himself as waited for Mu. He hoped the nord would give him mead and a sweetroll.

Mu woke up, once again in front of Lara's door. Instead of bursting in as before, he simply knocked. "Are you ok?" he asked through the wooden door.

Runs-with-Dunmer came upon the scene. At first she saw only the crazed Suzy and the body of her fallen master, and while the death did not please her she felt that targeting one as clearly innocent as Nanzus was only to be expected from the hellspawn she was facing. As she made her way to the inn to inform the others of the news, however, she came upon the mangled corpse of Duruza, swallowing a gasp as she did.

There is more at work here than the minions of Bal, she surmised, perhaps someone other than the worshippers was be behind the non-lethal attacks that had also plagued the township, and if this were so and the slaves of the Daedra continued to target those who had been proven innocent it was clear that Do'vah was not safe. Or perhaps some greater power had prevented the deaths of those who had been attacked, and now the killers had returned to finish what they had started with Duruza - in which case, they must have had a fairly compelling reason for wanting him, of all people, dead and so she now had a crucial new launching pad from which to deduce their identities. Either way, the scum were heading ever-more surely towards their own damnation.

"We ssshould burn the body," she announced, to no-one in particular, grimacing all the while, "we have no idea what infection or disease whatever did this to him could spread."

Lara had awoken fairly early, glad to still be alive. She was getting ready for the day when she heard Mu outside her door.

'Yes, all is well thanks.' she replied in answer to his question. She wondered if he had been outside the room for the whole night again.

M'hras awoke early for once and immediately made his way outside, where the gruesome deed of the night lay bare. One question less, then.

He went on to the tavern, in order to wait for everyone else to arrive.

"Then I will leave my post," Mu said. He went into the main room of the Inn and got to work.

"Morning, Do'vah," he said. "Breakfast?"

"M'hras too, thank you," the Khajiit's voice sounded from a table situated behind Mu's position.

Lara left her room and joined the others.

She noticed that Do'vah was up and about again.
'Feeling better? ' she asked him. 'Did you see who attacked you?'

"Do'vah would like a sweetroll and a steak for breakfast." Do'vah said to Mu. "Do'vah feels much better but did not see who attacked him. Do'vah was hit in the head from behind." Do'vah informed Lara as he rubbed his head.

Darba woke up again, and headed for the inn once he was dressed and ready for the day.

"By the gods..." he muttered, upon seeing the bodies of Nanzus and Duruza. "Two murdered in one night?" He shook his head and went into the inn. This whole ordeal had taken another turn for the worse. If we don't find at least one of the cultists soon... Darba shuddered at the thought as he sat down at one of the tables.

"Have we lost another?" Mu asked in a concerned voice when he saw the look on Darba's face. He began preparing breakfast for everyone who had entered while he waited for a reply.

Ba'Lee arose, and ate breakfast in his home before venturing out to see what the night had wrought.

He hissed when he came upon the bodies, and quickened his step on his way to the inn.

"Two are dead this day. Two. This one thinks the worshippers are coming for Ba'Lee next. We must find them. Soon."

He sat down by himself, and looked around the tavern, realising that in his haste to arrive he didn't even notice who the 2 unfortunates were.

"Nanzus and Duruza," Darba told Mu. "It looks like the cultists got them both. Duruza... he was barely even recognisable. I don't even want to imagine what happened to leave him that way..."

"Oh gods," Mu said, stopping in the middle of plating a sweetroll. The gooey icing began to drip onto the plate from the pastry suspended in air by Mu's spatula. He seemed to have no words other than those, accompanied by a look of shock mixed with sadness.

Lara looked shocked at the news that two villagers had been killed in the night.

'It seems they have not stopped the horrors.' she said as she shook her head.
'Let's hope we pick wisely today and maybe we can lynch one of these disgusting creatures.'

Ba'Lee nodded as Lara spoke.

"Yes, yes we must find them soon. This one fears he will be next." He stuttered.

He looked towards where Mu was competently spilling sweetroll everywhere and spoke again.

"This one thinks it was wrong to suspect Mu yesterday. Many have stayed in this inn, and none of them have been murdered. This one believes now that Mu is innocent. But whom does that leave suspicion on?"

Tatur groggily made his way out of his home, and toward the inn. As he passed the bodies, he did a double take, it taking a moment for him to realize what he was seeing. After gaping for several moments, he continued on to the inn.

"By Mauloch!" he said, entering the inn, "Two dead this night? How can we be this blind? Surely there must be some sign identifying the cultists!"

Mu shook his head of the fog that had clouded his mind for a moment. "Thank you, Ba'Lee," he said as he plated the sweetroll and continued making breakfast. It wasn't long before he was bringing plates and mugs out to everyone in the Inn.

"This one agrees." Ba'Lee'Va said, nodding at Four-Threes.

"This one thinks that perhaps the quietest are to blame. Those who say little, have much to hide. This one thinks that M'hras must be a murderer. This one casts his vote for him today."
