This has been said in the past: the console is a feature there for the player and it is his/her choice to use the console to cheat or not. Plus the console can help you fix bugs, and avoid em, when they happen.
Im still here :)

In my personal opinion, playing games on the PC is dirty..
Games are meant to be played on consoles whith nice controllers and are less likey to crash or become slow like PC's.

I know the advantages of playing on PC are the mods and avoiding bugs, but the game isn't bad enough to have to try and avoid bugs.

Who wants to play it with a mouse and a keyboard anyway..

sorry for the people who do and enjoy it, I just prefer the proper Controls and the cleaness of playing games on a console!

XBOX 360 - for me :)

I play on 360, and I've played on PC. Believe me, PC is better in almost every aspect. (Although, I like being able to play across the room from the screen)
And, even if I have one I have to admit, 360s crash a lot, ever heard of the Red Rings of Death? :P

Plus. Aren't there controllers you can buy for PCs?

You answerd your own question right there

Hope you enjoy your new xbox, And dont worry about the, "Rings Of Death" Since you recently bought it, most of that crap is fixed. And talking about the rings of death is like talking about, "Hey do you know that some airbags wont go off in some instances, in some certain cars, depending on the weather and moisture content, due to some cirumstances that apply to the wireing connections?

I played Oblivion on my PC with a Gamecube controller... man that was fun, plus you can customise the controls as much as you want (don't know if you can do that on 360)

You can plug your controller into the computer provided you have a USB port and cable and if you know what you're doing. Microsoft=Windows Microsoft=360.....
But Ive never been able to use it though, only charge it.

The abomb bug is very bad indeed - but it usually only affects console players who go over 500 hours on one character, so you will probably be OK with an XBox or PS3

Or course an XBox or a PS3 is a computer - just one that is limited to its own titles. A PC is by far the best for Oblivion, but for the casual player the console will do just fine.

Yes, many people have reported getting in on the XBox. Not so sure about the PS3. It's been said that it won't hit until after 500 hours on one character, which is a lot of hours to log. You can probably do all possible XBox quests and plug-ins in under 300 hours, so it's not likely that this affects many players. There is no fix for it though.

Realistically, even if you needed to overhaul most of the components for a PC, the cost would still come to roughly the same as, if not just slightly more, than buying a console would be once all the costs are tallied up. At least, that's the way it looks to me.
