"Then allow me to return the favor," Mu said. "I vote for you, Ba'Lee, for jumping so quickly to suspect me and for nothing else."

'I agree Ba'Lee, Mu has been very hospitable. Possibly to fool us into trusting him, or perhaps just out of kindness, we cannot be sure.'
'Either way, my vote today goes toward Paras.'
Lara felt no guilt in voting for the Breton man, finding his nonchalant attitude frustrating.

Mu turned to Lara and said in a soft voice, "Kindness, I assure you." He once again tried to hold the woman's hand to show he was not a threat of any kind to her.

'I am not assured!' Lara said to Mu, moving backwards away from him.
'As I told you yesterday, I'm trusting no one.' She looked sternly at the Nord man.
'In fact, I'm starting to find your apparent 'affections' increasingly suspicious.'

Mu pouted and left, going behind the bar to wash dishes or whatever else there was to do.

"Mu? Is that why you allowed us to sleep here? My spell kept me aware of my surroundings and let me sleep, It did feel strange though, like something was clouding it, the work of the Daedra perhaps? I'm sorry, but I cast my vote, upon you" said Threes

Re: The Molag Bal Game XVII
Paras just gave Lara an annoyed look, then a chuckle at Mu's attempt at advances. "Ba'lee has a valid point, free drink, free board, it does seem odd for anyone who wants anything resembling a successful business to be giving everything away, even in times of crisis. It's being nice, a little too nice. I side with the Khajiit, and vote for Musahkiin."

One-Shadow had on him a thoughtful face. "Do'vah is harmed, and incapacitated yes?" He asked quietly, then he frowned. "Was one other harmed? This might point to the one harmed as to being a worshipper, unable to work and move.. My vote is for the downed one. For Do'vah." He sighed, not happy with his choice but.. happier than voting for anyone else.

Re: The Molag Bal Game XVII
"What!?" Mu shouted. "I'm voted for because I opened my home and cupboard to you during this time of distress?" He came out from behind the bar to speak face to face with his accusers. "Have you forgotten that it was only I who began giving the traders a proper burial? The rest of you left their bodies on their pikes to rot and blister in the sun, to be picked at by the birds, and to become homes for worms and maggots. You came here, to my Inn for comfort and protection and I gave it. Now you spit in my face and call me a killer based on my kind acts! Fine then! Pay me for what you have eaten and drunk the past two days and then leave."

Paras pulled put his coin purse and pulled out enough to pay for the mutton and water he had drank the past few days and put them on the counter. "I'll pay for the food, but I'm not leaving until a decision is made."

Nanzus was about to make a retort to Mu's rude questioning of his mental stability but decided to shut his mouth when the discussion shifted.
"Come on, Paras," Nanzus said. "Who in their right mind would worry about their income in a situation such as this?"

Re: The Molag Bal Game XVII
Paras let a chuckle, "I would. If we make it out of this crisis I would like to not have to return to ruined crops and dead livestock. Speaking of which, Barbas, water." Barbas gave a bark and ran out the door.
Barbas ran through his world of gray and went to the house, went to the well, used his mouth on the crank to fill a bucket of water, filled up a watering can in it, and started watering the crops with the can in his mouth.
Efficiency. Such a wonderful phrase. Paras thought.

Threes looked confused "I, I don't know. Would you really do this? And why is Paras so smug? I'm withdrawing my vote, and changing it to Paras" said Four Threes, almost sadly

Paras let a sigh, "I'm a business man, I need money to survive and my farm is my source. As important as survival is, I don't want to live through this only to become bankrupt. It's that simple."

"I'm not even going to try to see through all this paranoia to come to a conclusion," said Darba with a sigh. "I'll just stick with my vote from yesterday, for Paras."

Runs-with-Dunmer entered the tavern late in the day for a second time, but this time she had no interest in interrupting proceedings in the same fashion as she had previously. She had been shaken by the nights events, but they had also steeled her resolve to find victory of the King of Rape.
"My vote also iss for Paras," she declared softly. "While the Worshippers' recent activity has been nothing if not confusing, we cannot allow ourselves to be confused in our reaction."

Re: The Molag Bal Game XVII
Paras let a thinking sigh. Well, its looking obvious how this will turn out. Stay safe Barbas. "Fine then, the many vote against the one that stays calm under fire. I have done nothing wrong, just like many others, like Selezen, like the sailors. It's almost funny, a simple man trying to make his way in the universe getting stuck here."
He let a dark chuckle, "looks like I've gotten more than I've bargained for. Such a vile daedra has cursed us, we have to deal with it, and so many of you suspect me, fine. But if I may point it out, would a murderer make themselves the center of attention like I have? Or would they really try to keep out of the public eye? Like One-Shadow, who seems to focus on someone no one else votes on. He has voted for himself and Do'vah. I will shift my vote to One-Shadow."

"I do not believe you to be the killer, Paras," Mu said from behind the bar, "if that means anything to you. In fact I believe that so much that I will vote with you. I change my vote to One Shadow." He washed another glass without speaking again.

"Thank you Mu. After being second to accuse you, that means a lot." Paras found the Nord's words surprising, especially after what he had said about Mu earlier..

"Just because you thought ill of me, doesn't mean I must think the same of you," Mu said. "I did not change my vote to you when you voted for me, even though it would have tied us for votes. Neither did I vote for you now when it would have given you a larger majority."

One-Shadow let out a small hiss when he was accused. "You truly think I would do things such as that!?" He asked curiously, placing a have over his chest and heart. "This one believes it to be Dov'Ah none have died when he was incapacitated, doesn't that strike these ones as suspicious?"

'Yes, I must admit that I thought that too.' Lara said to One-Shadow, in regards to the lack of killing whilst Do'vah was knocked out.
'However, seeing as he is out for the count right now, those that are here amongst us pose a more immediate threat for tonight.'

Re: The Molag Bal Game XVII
Duruza's silence had held for long enough, now he spoke.
"It is only natural that one accused would attempt to persuade us into killing another," Duruza interjected, "But let me remind you that it is not the only course of action an individual in such a position has the ability to take. If Paras truly does believe that One-Shadow in particular is a worshipper, what further evidence would he provide? His reasoning can be as equally applied to any number of us. All I know is that until such a time as more compelling evidence is brought to my attention, I must side with my companions. My vote at this time is, regrettably, cast for Paras."

Re: The Molag Bal Game XVII
Tatur had been sitting in something of a daze off in the corner
Finally, he spoke up.
"I don't question Musahkiin's hospitality. These are dark times and he's doing us a favor; to question it is, frankly, rude. Do'vah may be odd, but I don't yet see a reason to think him a killer. Maybe a lowlife, but that's it."
Tatur scratched his chin thoughtfully.
"I vote for Paras."
