ace, what's your problem, why would you wish phelps dead?
Phelps deserve what he got, like Poland, China is the only one who should have their medals stripped.

I was watching olympics like i would've been huge fanatic of them, although i'm not.
Well, my country showed up with some surprises and some disappointments like always. I'm glad of them though.
The biggest surprise to me was Phelps with tons of gold medals.
Never seen anything like that before (Maybe because i wasn't watching olympics a lot at '04 and '00). And many other things... I started to love olympics from this year.
Also i'm glad that China won so many medals... Though it already were very good for them because olympics were set in Beijing. But that's why they won so many medals! They didn't have to go anywhere, the olympic stadium was in the other side of street to them, so they had many more athletes than usual!
And to finish my post linguisticly pretty, I'll say that Olympics were very good and entertaining this year. Booyah!

The olympics bore me to be honest. Its one of those things where if its on, ill watch it, but im not gonna go out of my way to find every event and see how the US did or any other country.
At the same time i find it somewhat archaic. If its all to see whos better than who then its not my thing. If the US needs bragging rights, and we have to resort to some dude that can swim faster than everyone else, then thats kinda sad. Im saying if thats the case, i assume its not. I do believe its all for a good cause, the whole set our differences aside kinda thing.
The whole phelps cheating thing is bs. Steroids is cheating, thats probably about it. Even if it is the suit that makes him faster it dosnt matter. Why dosnt anybody else wear one? Its not his fault that nobody else thought of it. Even if they give away medals like confetti in swimming it shouldnt matter because that means that all other countries have the same opportunity.
You know what id like to see instead of all this bs? MMA style cage fighting. That would be so awesome its not even funny. What im about to say most guys can relate to.
Most sports are about dominance. "I can run faster than you, jump higher, and swim faster. I am the alpha male. Women and glory are mine."
"Well you may be able to do all of that, but i can beat you in a fight, so i can forcefully take the the alpha male status from you. Therefore women and glory are mine."
It would be so on its not even funny. So many people from all corners of the earth would train for that. All sorts of styles would be involved. That would be great.

What does "bs" mean?
...It's all about individuals, who compete each others in their skill, patience and everything else they need to reach the top.They compete for themselves as well as for their country.
But nowadays many doesn't give a damn thing how they reach their top and try to do it by "travelling through dangerous shortcuts"...

I don't think anyone who cheated at the Olympics got away this year, plenty of people were caught. There are every year.
China wouldn't be stupid enough to ruin their chances in their own games, that's like having a party and then purposely getting sick.
If by China cheating you're referring to the women's gymnastics, I don't think so. I've always heard Chinese people were small (and I know it's generalisation, but a lot of it tends to have some truth), plus the fact that gymnasts tend to be petit anyway. They all had some official passport things checked anyways.
Just out of interest... How much does one of those laser suits cost?
