But..............wasnt that what I said?.........Daedricmudcrab wrote:It could be a very rare genetic thing among primates. Maybe two of them had some recessive gene that came up on the baby and made it tall. It could be inter-species breeding too. I mean like the liger. It's not big because it's a mix of a tiger and lion. It's because male lions have a gene that stops the baby from becoming too big I think and when a female lion breeds with a male tiger, it results in a huge lion. I'm not sure but I remember hearing that somewhere. Maybe two different primatial species bred and the mix in they're genes created phenotypes that made the animal very large. It's not likely but it could happen.
Bigfoot found? Again? Really?

No, he said it could be inter-species business. He also recited some of the notes I took from biology cla... hey!
But it could be that, or it could be a new species altogether. And you can't say "Oh, but the chances of that are so slim" because Daedra Prince posted a link to some recently discovered mammal and I posted a link to a load of them found this century. And seeing as it lives in the mountains, there's plenty of places for it to hide out.

I'm very disapointed at some of my fellow uesp'ers lack of knowledge of cryptid zoology
Did you know the following animals were considered cryptids just like bigfoot?
mountain gorilla
okapi
giant squid
coelacanth
paltypus
and some kind of shark thats slippping my mind at the moment.
So whos to say there aren't kappas and bigfoots and jersey devils out there?
One thing i have to say is, most people who spot these things, have jsut heard stories about them, causing them to make things they see into these things.
(Kappas are scary though)
