Elder Scrolls Online release date!

[Alarra]

Zenimax has announced the worldwide release date for Elder Scrolls Online. There will be two release dates - one for PC/Mac, one for Xbox One and PS4.

PC/Mac - April 4, 2014
Xbox One/PS4 - June 2014

The Game Director, Matt Firor, has some more words about the testing and release dates here:

Woohoo! Still kind of far away, but woohoo anyway!

[Just_Mad]

Yeah! - Only...6 months to wait for me Though as said in that post, hopefully we console players will be able to try it in Beta before June

[Mr.Argonian]

I feel like its been so long since ES:O was announced, it almost feels like it will never be released.

[Musicman247]

Except they just gave a release date, so...

[Dirty Spaceman]

Since I intend to get it for console, it's a little unfortunate that we'll have to wait a couple of extra months, but it's not all bad: it'll give plenty of time for the reviews and general consensus to roll in, so I'll be able to decide on my plan for subscribing (and maybe, if it gets a good reception, I'll be able to convince some of my friends to get it too!).

[Jeelius-Tei]

With ZeniMax's greedy move on pricing, I doubt I will get it, unless there is a completely free demo version.
