Re: Rough Seas Redux: A Tale of Pirates and More!
"I've never seen her before in my life." said Henry. He was getting worried now. This man wants to arrest us? On what grounds? Not giving money to a man who threatened to kill us? This whole thing is preposterous.
So we have come to solve every squabble in the village personally?

"I've not seen them before in my life." Sally told the man whilst maintaining her aim at the man's forehead. "Now, what is it going to be? Death or running away?" She asked the man.

Re: Rough Seas Redux: A Tale of Pirates and More!
Those at the Nassau Docks
"I have no masters, least of all trash like the sorts of you!" the Harbormaster growled, his voice audible to even Don Leon, who's ship was now docking. "And who's is this? Your ship?" he questioned angrily, pointing at the newly arrived ship. "Actually, its mine." Jack spoke, emerging from the crowd behind Sally and letting out a shrill whistle.
Like lightning, the crew of the ship swarmed the docks, pointing their pistols, muskets, swords, and any other weapons they may have at the crew of The Lady Lucine. Jack himself pointed his freshly reloaded pistol at Sally's head, angling it so that should he fire, it would not harm the Harbormaster. "Don't this seem familiar." he laughed.
Leo was able to discern little more than was revealed, though he did notice the seemingly criminal past for both the man and the woman, Sally.
The British
Lord Hamilton raised an eyebrow at the exchanges between the men, but didn't mention anything about it. "As far as my casual dress is concerned, you'll soon find that formal dress and fashion are not quite as significant as in other locations." He spoke as he took a seat, motioning for the others to do the same. "And while we wait for the food, we can talk about the terms of your reassignment, yes? As I am sure you have noticed, piracy has become a disease upon these seas. Despite the number of Naval and Privateer ships patrolling the waters, it still spreads and prospers. That is where you come in. You will simply eradicate these pirates, at whatever cost you deem necessary. Questions?"

"[&@%!]." Sally uttered after Jack pointed his pistol at her. She didn't dare make any movement and said "Looks like it's your lucky day," to the man as she slowly put her hands up after dropping the flintlock on the floor. She remained silent afterwards.

Leonard glanced and drew the cards once more. "Corruption defiles, and criminals are corrupt. Are defilers criminals or defilers you." He said pointing at the harbourmaster, grinning widely. "I name you." He said, talking straight. "I name you. And find you lacking. Lacking as a standing man, lacking as a helper. I find you wanting, wanting for air, the nectar that goodness spouts!"

"Leonard don't do anything to make this worse. Just, please" said Henry. He wished the tarot reader could say a coherent sentence for once. "Look this is a misunderstanding, we don't have anything to do with this. A man threatened to kill us and his friend if we didn't give him money that he had no right to demand. One of out crew attacked him and when he died he shot his friend. That's it. And we have nothing to do with that woman."

Captain Elias bowed a little for the Lord at a similar time to the others, "Captain Elias Hooper of Her Majesty's Ship Atlas", he sat down at the table and nodded as Francis talked to the Governor, occasionally murmuring in agreement.

Through it all, Sandy stood in the background with a grin on her face. This is about to get interesting. She stood with her knife at the ready, eager for a chance to fight.

"So, milord, do you mean to say that our work is more or less freelance, we're to simply go out on the sea, destroy pirates with no specific rules, apart from the standard rules of his majesty's navy? Are there any specific targets at all?" asked Avery, sounding a little excited, as this was exactly the assignment he had hoped for

The British
"Actually, the pirates have become a problem not because of them gathering. It seems like they are becoming.... luckier, is really the only way to put it. Things that would have killed them outright, no longer achieve that effect. That is why I'm sending you to Nassau, the best way to handle this is to raze the town completely. After that, you are free to hunt them down however you see fit after that." Lord Hamilton said calmly, odd considering he just gave the order to kill hundreds of men, women, and children.
"Ah. The food has arrived." was heard as several servants brought forth platters of food, large bowls of soups, legs of lamb, whole swine roasted to perfection, and copious amounts of wine and beer to wash it down. As the food was placed upon the table, the governor motioned to the men. "Please, help yourselves."
Nassau Docks
The Harbormaster let out a laugh, one full of cruelty and malice. "Because I am in a good mood, I will let you live." he flourished, turning to face Sally directly. "But not before compensation." he said as he got close to her face, a disturbing smile upon his face. "Sir, is that really the best course?" Jack questioned, something in his voice sounding odd.
The Harbormaster snarled as he stepped away from Sally and stood more centrally in the group. "All of you.... will leave. Set sail within the next day and never return. I will give you the day to prepare, at night you will sleep in the prisons, and in the morning I will watch all of you sail away into the sunrise, no sooner and no later. Is that clear?" he announced, looking at each of the group.

Re: Rough Seas Redux: A Tale of Pirates and More!
Allen stared at the fine wine on the table, before finally outstretching his hand for it. The cup graced his lips, and he enjoyed the wine with a somewhat bittersweet expression on his face. After finishing, Allen licked his lips curiously, as if the wine had lingered on them... And in the midst of ending this motion he finally looked to the governor and spoke crudely. "You ask us to torch an entire city? An... Interesting request to make, of a man in your position." Allen began to fidget in his chair a bit, seeming as though something had overcome him. "Of course, if it's what we must do, then we will do it..." The Dane's tone was a playful one, his eyes demanding a response of affirmation from the governor as he sipped the wine once more.

Don Leon, unable to keep his curiosity in check, could not help but take in account all that had occurred. With a potential ease in wind, he took a leap, then a seat, and stationed himself right on the rail facing the gathering. He stares as his legs went limp, but his eyes caught gaze by a fair maiden. Unable to resist, he attempted to make a landing on the nearest dock with a rather broad leap, something he was plenty sober for.

Leonard took in a breath, and then silently flipped a card, folding it in his hands, looking at the harbourmaster. He stayed silent but looked at his captain, pulling a card out of his tarot deck. The tower, a diaster. He grinned before he put it back, a warning or a telling?
