Requiem - Thief bug?

Post by Frogmander »

So, I downloaded the Requiem overhaul today, after getting out of Helgen, Hadvar and I were jumped by a thief, he was rather strong, but after some kiting around the rocks I was able to kill them. Upon looting him his gear seemed rather..strong, to say the least.

Full set of thieves guildmaster armor, as well as a bag that increased carry weight by 35.

It would seem rather odd to simply stumble upon guildmaster armor, especially at the very start of the game. The fight wasn't even that hard, I killed him within a few hits...Was this intentional, luck, or what?

Well, Requiem does away with leveled enemies and many of the leveled lists, so enemies will be the same strength throughout the game (bandits are considered low level) and they have a chance of having the best gear possible, although rare.

For more check out the manual: https://bitbucket.org/ogerboss/requiem- ... Manual.pdf

Did you by any chance also run into an "Alpha Wolf"? It sounds like you might have somehow managed to enable the E3 demo's content... which would be bad.

Of course, I've never played Requiem, so I wouldn't know if this is intentional, but it still sounds unusual.

The Alpha Wolf has always been there for me .-.

The thief had non-vanilla gear on them, the bag, so it had to of been added by the mod. But having unique thief gear a few feet from the tutorial..? I could understand maybe if it was just really good thief gear, but it's the Guildmaster set XD
