Re: What are you playing at the moment?
Here be the Dovah's tale of what he is plundering at the moment.
He took down 2 Man O wars during the past week and looted their sugar and rum. countless amount of scooners and brigs. A lot of Frigates and a few naval forts. In AC:BF. It's excellent and a massive improvement over AC3. Mainly because it's actually fun and Edward is much more interesting then Connor. The Jackdaw is slower then the Aquilla, it's more powerful and the naval battles are much better. I enjoyed the ones in 3 but if i remember correctly, it was just a case of lining up the shot, fire and repeat. Here, it's up to you how you want to fight. Do wish i could climb up to the top of my ship and use the spyglass. Oh and Ubi are arses as the fleet thing is unavailable to anyone without net access. [&@%!].

Just got ArmA 2. I love it. I play it as a single player sandbox/free roaming game. I like how the driving is quite realistic (steering with the mouse and multiple speeds of travel). It also makes a good flight simulator/destruction simulator.

The Binding of Isaac, and Pokémon Y, mostly. 61% of the former complete. I shan't rest until I've got true 100%.

FarCry 3 Blood Dragon. Heheh, I like this game, but I'm terrible at it. For some reason I was a lot better at FarCry 3, you know, the normal one.

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
I just finished Ellen Page Simulator 2013 Beyond: Two Souls. It was alright, not bad but not particularly great either. I much preferred Heavy Rain. I wouldn't recommend buying it new but it could be worth it if you see it second hand for real low cheap. I had a few major issues with it. The orbs that let you know to interact with stuff can at times be hard to see. Also in combat it can be hard to tell which way you are meant to move the analogue stick. The User Interface is just much worse than Heavy Rain. It is like they were trying to make it look better but then just made actually using it worse. Also it jumps back and forward to different points in time and with no way to see what your character is thinking like in Heavy Rain I often had no idea where I was, why I was there or what I was meant to be doing. Also the camera is an unruly beast that doesn't want to cooperate with you.
Also I really hate that title. You have to say the whole thing or people won't know what you are talking about. And you have to put a pause between "Beyond" and "Two Souls." It is "Demon's Souls" all over again. That being the multiple souls of a single demon.

Replaying Portal on xbox, and a bit of Zelda:Phantom Hourglass on ds. I forgot how tedious the Temple of the Ocean King was.

It's eh. Good stuff and all, but literally no replayablity unless for the different endings.

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
It's excellent but it can screw you over during the boss fights if you are playing a non lethal playthrough. They are designed for combat only.sinister wrote:Borrowing Dues Ex Human Revolution, does anyone know if it is any good?

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
Not a big fan of HR at all myself. I didn't find it very engaging, and even though I started the game several times I could never get myself to play more than half an hour. Even with the sensitivity turned to its lowest the camefa contfols felt "floaty". I wasn't very interested in the story eithe.

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
I really like Human Revolution. But the boss fights are terrible and ending is pretty bad. Then again I just adore Cyberpunk in general. Deus Ex (the first one) is also worth playing. Haven't played Invisible War.

Bioshock Infinite. I just sat playing for five hours, and I didn't know when I could safely stop and keep my progress. Is a save option too much to ask for ?
In the end, I just got out. You're not the boss of me, game!

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
I finally managed to summon enough patience to finish Assassin's Creed 1, so I've just started on 2. I've asked for the two games in the series I'm missing so I should actually get around to finishing the previous ones.

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
Damn, I've got nothing to play. I finished Bioshock Infinite this past weekend (finished in 3 days, it was far too short ...
)
Nice game, with a decent storyline. Still, I prefer Bioshock 1's storyline, though, even if it's endings were a little bit silly and extreme.

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
I just got Iron Front: Liberation 1944. It's basically ArmA in World War 2.
