Hope Falls

Sam undid the belt of the robe and let Clara take it off of her. She didn't look nervous or shy about being completely naked in front of the other woman. In fact she looked pleased that Clara had disrobed her.

"You know, it's big enough for two," she said as she took a step toward the large porcelain tub. Steam was rising from the hot bubbly water in a way that promised comfort and tranquility to all that entered the warm wetness.

Clara placed the robe on the towel rack and said "Seeing as two people can fit into it, i may as well join you." She couldn't be bothered to take off her shirt or undergarments so she climbed into the bath wearing her shirt and undergarments. She sat down after entering the tub and let out a sigh of comfort as the water embraced the lower half of her body.

Sam watched with a cocked eyebrow as Clara entered the water on her own and still wearing clothes.

"Oookay," the female officer said softly. She approached the tub and asked, "So how's the water?" before bending down and splashing once playfully at Clara. She still hadn't entered the tub, an amused expression staying on her face.

"Come in and find out." Clara said to Sam after being splashed. "I think you'll like it." She said to Sam before splashing Sam back. Clara's red lace breasts were very visible through the light blue shirt as a result of Sam splashing her. She sank lower into the bath which resulted in more of the woman's slim body becoming easier to spot through the fabric of her shirt and let out a relaxing sigh. "Fancy a massage?" She asked Sam in an innocent tone.

Sam nodded with a smile and got in the tub with Clara. As the woman's hands touched her bare shoulders she closed her eyes and sighed, steam from the sensually warm water rising around and enveloping the two officers. Time seemed to stand still and the world go dark for the two as they explored each others bodies, minds and souls.

"Now just relax and let me take good care of you." Clara told Sam as she moved closer to her. She began to massage the woman's shoulders and gently moved down to her breasts. She got up and moved in front of Sam then sat down in front of her. She continued to massage the woman's breasts and kissed her. She started to play with her tongue as she felt Sam's hands slipping into her wet panties and the world faded to black.

Later that Evening.....

Clara paid for the pizza and put the box down on the table. She was in Sam's spare navy blue satin robes and had enjoyed her bath with the woman. The pair watched a film together and Clara allowed Sam to rest her head against her. After the film had finished and the bottle of red wine was depeleted, they retreated to Sam's room. Clara attempted to do a lapdance for Sam, it failed miserably. But she made it up to Sam by playfully tickling her and kissing. The pair faded to black after removing each other's robe and went to sleep around 11pm.

The Following Morning....

"Morning, Sexy." Clara said to Sam as she woke up with her arms wrapped around Sam's waist. The pair took a shower together and helped to wash the other. They had breakfast and decided to go to Bangor for some shopping. To help Sam to recover from the shock of the events that transpired the previous day. Time had been fixed and Clara was relieved. They spent all day in Bangor and returned to Sam's place at 7pm in the evening. Clara had persuaded Sam to show her where she got her navy blue satin undergarments from and picked up several pairs of her own. She purchased 2 weeks worth of clothes. In the evening, she asked Sam what she thought of her brand new purple satin panties and bra by wearing them in front of Sam in Sam's place. They found themselves fading to black in Sam's room.

Epilogue

Clara stayed with Sam until she could afford to rent a place of her own. Sam allowed her to move in. They became more then sex buddies and started dating after a week. Clara continued to work at HFPD and became friends with Paula. She recieved an offer to return to the NYPD after the police commissioner was caught abusing his power and accepting bribes. She turned it down due to her being much happier in Hope Falls. Her friends contacted her afterwards and apologised for the way they acted. Clara forgave them. She ended up transferring to Bangor a few weeks afterwards due to a lack of funds for the HFPD and the NYPD just didn't want to continue funding her. She wasn't happy but accepted it.

In Bangor, she ended up bumping into her ex, Amy Gecker. Amy was a right mess. She had become a drug addict and had destroyed all her ties with her family. She blamed Clara for it but Clara ignored her. She told her that she brought it on herself and to keep away from her. Amy was later arrested by her for attempting to hold up a store with a stolen gun. She got hard time and Clara didn't care about her. She just got on with her life afterwards. A year after time had been fixed in HF, she surprised Sam with a vacation. Overall, her life was very good and she was happy. She truly loved Sam and was glad Sam loved her. The guilt caused by the events on the non-existent Saturday disappeared over time and she never told anyone about it.

Misa and Dan
The pair spent more time investigating and turned up nothing. They decided to try leaving the town once more, this time with much more luck. Misa stayed the night in Dan's place in Bangor and in the morning they shook hands and parted ways. Dan went back to his job as a private investigator, he didn't speak about Hope Falls to anyone and never returned. Misa's bandmates were surprised to see her back in Columbus so soon. When asked about why she was home early and what her trip was like she responded. "[&@%!] that place. I'm never going to Maine again." When asked for more information she said she didn't want to talk about it. Eventually people stopped asking. The band continued to record and play gigs. After a few years she got a job as a music teacher. Regardless Misa stuck to her personal experience and the best piece of advice you can learn from any Steven King story and stayed the hell away from Maine.

Damien liked holding hands with Mary. If only he could get Kelly to leave then they could be alone. "What else can we go look at in these woods? Any interesting folk lore?" Damien asked.
