In the quest Boetiah's calling you need to sacrafice someone.
I killed Marcurio the mercenary in the Bee and Bard, why? just because i don't like mages in combat as follower. and he ruint y cover in a dungeon once so I made him pay:Twisted Evil: Mwhahaahahaha
Who did you kill to gain the favor of a Deadra?
Could you imagine what I would do if I could do all I can? - Sun Tzu
No, not evil compared to the Daedra, but evil in general. I dont mind sacrifices so much if the person is evil, but definitely not if they're innocent.
I wonder who people picked out of the 3 people in the shack for the Dark Brotherhood? Only the Khajit seems to be nasty? But that is another question and not what you were asking.
I've only ever done this quest once, and I think I sacrificed Sven. I hate bards.
With regards to Aarah's comment, I always kill the woman. One: she's a b****; and two: I usually play a Khajiit when I'm doing a stealthy character, so no killing my brethren if it can be avoided.
Aarah wrote:Oh, and Marcurio is my husband and loyal follower, so I greatly disapprove of your choice.
He is a devoted follower to my Bosmer thief, Lieth. Their strong bond has manifested into his restless wolf syndrome, since he drank her blood and became a werewolf too.
Lieth is my only character that sacrificed anyone. Nadja Stone-Arm or whatever her damn name is. Little Bosmer had enough of that woman's torture. AND she flirted with Vilkas at their own wedding! So when the chance came up to get rid of her, Boethiah took her soul. Or carcass. But no one in Jorrvaskr knows what happened to Nadja. Lieth says she went to wake her one evening and the woman was gone. She's never been seen or heard from since.

Vorstag, because I didn't know him at all. Even as an evil character I'm generally against betraying my actual friends. He apparently considered me enough of a friend to leave me some money though, which made me feel pretty guilty.

I killed all 3.
The correct answer is Astrid.
No one for me, there's not enough NPCs as it is...

I also sacrificed Marcurio for pretty much the sane reason.
As for the victims in the abandoned shack I killled them all.
Don't stick your finger in anything you wouldn't eat!
On my first character (and the only one I've done the quest with), I sacrificed Faendal.
The way he was following around and pining over my wife was just plain creepy.
I've never completed the entire quest. But the one time i wanted to test what happens when you use the pillar, i brought along Aela the Huntress and killed her; mostly because of my hatred of her and the Companions.
My Pokemon signature :
''I HAVE ARRIVED , AND I'M FABULOUS''
I hate followers so I have no qualms really about sacrificing any of them. I think if sacrificed sven and one of my many housecarls. Ive only ever done the quest like twice because I rarely use heavy armor and I thought the enchantments were totally wasted on a set of heavy armor too.
For the abandoned shack I first killed the nord because he was the one that seemed the least obvious choice and I assumed it was some sort of "never judge a book" lesson. When I found it doesn't matter either way I started just killing them all, or killing astrid depending on if I wanted to follow the questline or not.
My Bosmer vampire lady sacrificed Lydia because she got her for nothing and had no other use for her. My Breton witch sacrificed Talvas (Neloth's assistant) after adventuring with him for a while because she thought it fitting to choose a Dunmer, considering their worship of Boethiah; it was a hard decision because she'd grown rather fond of the guy, but hey, that's why it's a sacrifice. Ironically, neither of them ever wore the mail.
As for the shack, if I don't kill Astrid the question is not whom do I kill but whom do I kill first . If I'm a werewolf I usually eat all four of them.
Lydia =P. So far the only one I have sacrificed too. I was playing my crazy altmer Asul who does very spontaneous decisions. Lydia just happened to be the closest available follower when he was hit by the idea of actually doing this quest. It was nothing personal. The sad/stupid part of this is that Asul doesn't even use heavy armor so the reward only serves as his home decoration. Oh well.
We've had this discussion already recently: A Jerk For Boethiah? Some people might not reply to this thread because they already answered the question there.
My only character who's done the quest chose Eola the Cannibal, on the basis that she liked the idea of sacrificing a follower of one Daedric Prince to another, and followers of Namira are completely bloody creepy! It's one thing to eat people who are already dead, but quite another to deliberately kill someone so you can eat them!

I picked the old women in the schack she was really annoying me....so i put an arrow through her head:P
the second time I came in the schack I killed Astrid

The Dark Brotherhood initiates are a handy sacrifice, because they're relatively expendable and frankly, not all that interesting as NPC followers. The DB and this part of Boethiah's quest being pretty complementary.
