Nick the Imperial, please from now on try not to double post in threads (or triple and beyond...). We have this handy feature you'll see on your post called 'edit' it is very helpful and keeps the clutter down on the threads!

Thanks!

thats weird, it seems like oblivion would be less fun since your limited to certain weapons per level, if it really is better then i think that i should buy it soon.

It is the newest game though. That is why it is the best. I am amazed that no one voted for morrowind. That game was awesome!

Oblivion might have better graphics, physics, magic and combat system. However, Morrowind is much better in every other aspect.

Yes!

(And there are a lot of other aspects to a game like morrowind.)

I misread the thread thinking it asked "What was your first elder scrolls game?"

and I thus voted for Morrowind.

My favorite is Oblivion, to be honest I always thought Morrowind was a lot more deep, complex and rich than Oblivion but for some reason I never really got into Morrowind.

There are aspects of Morrowind I really miss though. The millions of quests, how scary some of them were (vampire quests brr) but most importantly....

I miss the ancient enchanting system :(

ohhh how I remember hunting down Golden Saints and spending all of my money to enchant that piece of Armor with a 1hp regen..or 1mana regen...

best enchanting system ever!

Morrowind was better because of all the quests and because it had all of the old skills like axe, long sword, enchant, and so on.

And what was nick talking about? Morrowiner? Someone plz help me out here.

It seems perfectly acceptable to me to include the two Morrowind expansions in the choices available - although they are just that, expansion. Many players preferred either Bloodmoon or Tribunual over the original game.

I suppose if you have neither of them then it is impossible to say which of the three you prefer, but most people these days do have all three, especially as the GOTY edition has been out for some time, and is not now expensive to buy.

Of course, from the choice, I am a Morrowinder :P including the two expansions, and given a choice of these three, prefer the original Morrowind story and quest lines.

No, it doesn't make sense. It would be like asking someone whether he prefers his computer or his hard disk. Tribunal and Bloodmoon just extend the game. It's still Morrowind, though.

well, oblivion's ups are:
1)more detailed main quest
2)good graphics
3)skills that actually make sense(come on, there's no difference between a long sword and a shortsword, and enchanting is like using a computer, you don't have to be an expert to use a computer)
4)good graphics
5)realistic wilderness(there are actually trees!)
6)fast travel
7)umm........something else, i forgot

1) I have got nothing to say about that.
2) True.
3) Have you ever tried using a dagger or a claymore in real life? You'll see the difference.
4) The graphics aren't good enough for you to have to mention it twice.
5) If you'd know even the tiniest bit about morrowind lore you'd know why there aren't any trees.
6) Fast travel ruins the game.
7) Yeh right.

3) I don't think that counting an axe as a blunt weapon makes any sense.

5) Morrowind has trees. Just take a walk along the Bitter Cost region. Realistic wilderness because of trees, lol. So I guess Africa doesn't have a realistic wilderness, either?

6) What do you actually see from your "realistic" wilderness, when you use fast travel?

7) In that case, it must have been an unimportant thing.
