Oh, the book, Yes, it shall be for my Room, Thank you for asking,

Just been doing some daedric runes, They are very addictive to write, they are almost similar to the English letters in some sense but very sharp and harsh, I am defiantly going to be doing lots of them.

Hey looks great - good design!
I was thinking for your book you could make a sort of retangular 'box' with an opening lid, so kind of a fake book and then put a few actual paper pages with the script inside at the beginning.

Or you could buy or 'procure' an A5 blank notebook and then decorate the cover to your requirements.

I have done this with a notebook covered with black and shiny silver fleur de lys wrapping paper, then made a diamond shape covered in tin foil with the black Skyrim logo on. I think it looks cool but would be better if it was a chunkier book. They dont seem to make thick notebooks.

Thanks, The daedric runes spell flames by the way,

Your idea about making a box is a good one, not 100% sure on how to do it through.

There are plenty of these on eBay, which could be useful: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/A4-Hard-Back- ... 4d0b11b575

What you did with a notebook sounds nice, it is a shame that notebooks don't have that chunky feel, but I guess a bit of poetic licence can be used. I wouldn't mind seeing a picture of your notebook, it sounds cool.

Working on page 2s rough draft now,

Thanks again for the comment.

yeh the ebay ones look good if you just want a few. Good that they don't have lines in them, they seem to be called sketchbooks when they aren't ruled.

Here's a pic of my notebook. Ive just started with an image hosting site so hope it works!

It looks great to me Chris  What colour scheme have you decided upon? (if you have decided further than the few notes you have in the original sketch)

I really like your notebook Aarah, the colour scheme and pattern really make the Skyrim logo pop out at you, thanks for showing me, ;)

Thank you OblivionDuruza, As for colour scheme, I shall do the paper with some light tea staining, I think the destruction hand shall be in crimson perhaps, As for the Daedric runes I shall do them in black with a red outline, that normally helps letters to stand out a bit,

I've been doing some research upon Alchemical symbols: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alchemical_symbol

I hope to incorporate these into my designs. I always enjoy using a combination of really history and mixing it with TES, to make something feel unique, and real.

Thanks for the comments :D

Why not use the Magic Script Alphabet, that is on the Wiki, plus various symbols, like from Shalidor's Insights, and The Tome of Unlife?

Thanks for the comment Hrolf, I certainly am using the magic script in some places, the bulk of the book will be wrote in English, but in places like here,

I have used the magic script to spell out fire twice, but also in the centre I have the alchemical symbol for fire as well, I think the combination of the two is nice.

Thanks for the comment!

Another update folks, I have written (or typed) out the entire book, its not much but I cannot think of much else to say regarding the flame spell.

View spoiler tag for writing
Spoiler:
Flames Spell - School of Destruction

The Spell Flames is a simple one, ideal to introduce a beginner to destruction magic. Flames is a gout of fire which the caster pours from his or her hands, it can be used for many purposes, lighting fires, burning spider webs or other barricades, and fighting foes. As always this Author advices care to be taken when using this type of magic, and that practice is best done away from flammable materials.

To Master the use of the Flames spell one must focus their energies upon the element of fire, Mediation to prepare the mind is of uttermost importance, to clear ones mind of all thoughts is vital. To Begin, close your eyes and rest your hand in front of you, make sure they are open and among the dark ocean of your mind, visualise a small flame, distant but burning bright none the less, slowly witness the flame growing brighter and nearer. Feel its warmth in your hands, focus your magicka, and all your energy upon this flame, bring it to the forefront of your mind, lose yourself in it, hear the crackling of the fire, the slow waving of the blades of fire. Slowly open your eyes, very slowly and you should feel a warmth grow within in your hands, and if you are lucky you may even see a small candle-like flame within your palm.

This however is rare for your first attempt, unless you are very skilled; Keep practising upon visualising the flame in your mind and then using all your strength to bring it into the palm of your hand. Once you have mastered the candle like flame you will be able to bring it about with a flick or your fingers. The next stage of this spell is enlarging the flame; to begin, light the flame in your palm, with your hand slightly closed, slowly open your hand, channelling your magicka into your hand, focus enlarging the flame, if done correctly and with enough practice a fire the size of your fist should be summoned within your hand! To put out this fire one need only close there hand quickly and re open it and the fire will be extinguished

The next and final stage of the spell is pouring the flame from your palm, in a focused jet. To begin summon the flam to your hand, by now you should be able to do this with ease, if not you need to go back to the earlier steps and practise. Returning to the matter at hand, Focus on the point where you wish the flames to pour, channel your power down your arm into your palm, feel your shoulders tense and your hands stiffen as your muscles tighten, thrust your hand out in front of you, while focusing your eyes upon a point, A gout of fire should pour from your hand! To cease, merely relax your muscles again and the flames will halt. If you have managed to do this you have mastered the Flames Spell! With more practise you will strengthen your magicka and be able to keep up the flow of the fire for longer periods of time. And with more practise you will be able to summon the spell in both hands for dual casting.

Advice upon using Flames.

Once one has mastered the spell flames, it has many uses as I mentioned at the start of this book. Lighting fires is a most useful ability of flames, when stranded in the cold somewhere the ability to light a fire will be a gift, why even summoning the spell in your palms will warm you.

Fighting foes with the flames spell is rewarding but can be dangerous and difficult. First of all this author does not condone or agree with the use of this spell upon innocents, it should only be used in self-defence or the rooting out of evil. Moving on, pouring flames at a human enemy can bring them down extremely quickly, the fire will severely burn there skin which will cause excoriating pain, if you aim for the face, the foes eyes will set alight causing them to lose their sight and become immobile. Also a foe one fire will tend to flee. To fully slay someone with flames spell one must continually pour the fire on to an enemy, until the intoxicating fumes mingled with the force of the fire consumes there life, this is not a nice way to die, and should only be reserved for the most evil. Wild beasts will fall the same way as Men.

It should be noted that some enemy’s will be able to resist your flames spell. When wearing heavy armour, the fire will deflect, eventually the armour would heat up and become unbearable to wear but in the time it would take the warrior would charge at the caster and slay them. Also even the most beginner mages can cast a Ward spell that will deflect your gout of fire, if your fire is more powerful than their ward then it will break, and offer no protection. Potions of resist fire should also be taken into account, for they surround the drinker with a second skin almost, against fire, preventing the flames from harming them as severely.

Flame Atronachs are completely invulnerable to fire since it is the very essence that they are made from is that of fire, so Flame Spells are of no use what so ever. While Frost Atronachs are obviously very vulnerable to Fire Spells.
What do you folks think?

Awesome! That's a nice descriptor. Looks like you're getting it all figured out nicely.

Thank you Hrolf, Things are going well actually. Among the writing I hope to do lots of illustrations and symbols etc, but I will make them up as I go.
