Lost/Dead Follower
My follower is either lost or dead but is still in my service and I can't recruit new ones.
I tried finding a mod to dismiss followers but there doesn't seem to be one.
Does anyone know of a solution or a mod to fix this?

Re: Lost/Dead Follower
I take it you're on the PC. If so, you could use the console recycleactor to reset the missing follower, or set playerfollowercount to <qty> to remove them from your service and recruit another.

Re: Lost/Dead Follower
I just wanted to note that I had the same issue on 360, where of course console commands aren't available; in my case I've found that if fast travelling doesn't work, then taking a carriage or boat somewhere does, bringing them right back beside you. I found the carriage/boat trick works best for dog followers who I've found to be more prone to getting lost/stuck than regular followers, that and they're useless (very easy to hit accidentally, not that powerful, bark all the time etc.) but that's another issue entirely

^ I always wait 1hour most of the times the follower is next to me.
Q: sometimes when i have a follower with me and start sneaking my follower is just walking normally thus letting every enemy know we're comming.
Also when i sneak but it gives detected because of the follower is seeing me does this mean I don't get the sneak damage bonus on an enemy that has not yet seen me?? any tips on this??

Followers shouldn't detect you when you're sneaking. The only time I have this problem is when Serana resurrects something, and her minion can see me. I just kill it and go about my business.K Candyman wrote:^ I always wait 1hour most of the times the follower is next to me.

Yeah, try a "Ranger" or "Thief" class. Aela and Faendal are both "Thieves", while Jenassa and Annekke are both "Rangers", etc. Be aware that their armor affects their sneaking. faendal's default equipment is clothing so he's better than Aela who wears (heavy) Ancient Nord armor, and Jenassa seems to prefer light armor while Annekke similarly comes equipped with clothing as her default apparel, so ideally, either Faendal or Annekke should prove better at stealth given their standard gear. There's also the DB "Assassin" class followers. I always wanted to have Cicero as a follower. I'd feel like Harley Quinn having The Joker in tow.

If you're a sneaky character yourself, you'll want to avoid using him unless you're on the PC. He's very trigger-happy for an assassin. I've never used him because of this, though now that I've figured out how to adjust aggression (his is set to the highest value), I might give him a shot.godsmack wrote:There's also the DB "Assassin" class followers.
