I'm about to do a 'hands off character"

Major Skills

Conjuration
Speechcraft
Mercantile
Illusion
Alchemy
Mysticism
Security

Basically, conjure creature to fight, charm people and get away with it. Maybe swap security for Destruction or Blade if things go wrong and be an Imperial for the bonuses. :)

My mage was pretty much hands-off for a while, back when my summoned creatures were strong enough to kill most baddies on their own. I would then sneak around with 100% chameleon during the battle to boost my sneaking skill.

I've always liked a Brawler-type character:

Name: something like Ralf Stronginthearm
Race: Nord
Birthsign: lady
Class: Brawler

Hand-to-Hand
Acrobatics (for dodge perks)
Athletics
Armourer (to make more money from your looted armour)
Restoration (to heal yourself... duh!)
Optional
Optional

Just don't take any other magic, armour, or weapon skills.

which monsters do you define as strong enough, cus I got dremora lord and storm atronach, I like the atronach better dunno maybe cus he is like a twister when he attacks and the dremora lord. well you need 100 conj and a lot of money to buy it (before some quest in fighters guild or whatever but I think you can find it on the home page on this site ((site you rock :P)) he only looks cool but... ah heck :!:  think ill start with storm atronach then dremora lord just to look cool 8)

There's an edit button in the top right of your posts, you should use that instead of posting again.

My current Ob character is a mage/archer. Destruction, Marksman, Illusion, Mysticism, Light Armour, Conjuration and Restoration.

I used customs spells with atronachs that lasted a long time. Which one I used depended on the enemy's resistances. But eventually I leveled up high enough that the enemies were much stronger than anything I can summon.

If you're new to the game then I personally recommend playing as a Dunmer, due to their versatility they can be used effectively no matter what gameplay style you use.

Why are you now answering your own topic? You posted this topic asking for help on creating your own character didn't you?? :?

And why did you change the original post today? The original post should be left as is, otherwise people can't see what everyone else's posts were a reply to.
