I have never bought a house. I have always built a house.
Also I have never joined the assassins.

You have played 100 hours and have not met him yet. How in the hell is that even possible?Snail's Pace wrote:Dark Spark, I haven't created the right character to meet Balgruuf, yet. But one of my characters has explored - well, trespassed - all over his house, if that counts for anything. Keep in mind, I've only played the game about a thousand hours - I don't want to rush into meeting this particular jarl with the wrong character.

You've never shouted. Does your DB's life even have meaning?

Re: I have never...
That's true.
The game is a bit dry when you can't shout, most of the time I do half the MQ just so I can get the shouts.

Re: I have never...
That is pretty much the only reason I play the MQ. I normally never advance past killing the dragon at Kynesgrove.

I like DB so I always do the MQ. Cost me ten dollars, yeah, I'm going to play it.

Re: I have never...
Cost me 40 quid... (serves me right for buying the game plus DLC twice though...)
Re: I have never...
I have never completed No Stone Unturned. I have never fought a legendary dragon, I usually stop leveling in my forties, so they never appear. But I have defeated two revered dragons at level thirty six, and they were not the named ones from Dawnguard. I have never fought the Ebony Warrior or Karstaag, but I have found Karstaag's skull with one of my old characters, but I deleted him.

Re: I have never...
Re: several posts above.
I deliberately avoid the MQ because a) my current characters aren't heroes b) the premise doesn't appeal to me as much as other aspects of the game and c) I don't want to be bothered by over-sized cliff racers. I will do the MQ when I decide on and create an appropriate character for it. And chances are, I will forget to use shouts, just like I always forget to use my characters' special racial powers... Dragonskin and whatever it is Redguards can do.
That's all I have to say on the subject and will finish by making this post on-topic:
I have never used my Redguard character's special power, whatever it is.

Re: I have never...
...finished the Stones of Barenziah quest
...found all the Word Walls (at all, & certainly not with the same character, since some are in locations that require membership of a particular faction)
...done Vaermina's quest the "bad" way (I love Erandur too much)
...so I've never finished all the Daedric quests for the achievement
...finished the Civil War (but I'm working on it)
...gone to Solstheim (though I have Dragonborn!)
...sided with the Blades over the Greybeards (BOO!)
...deliberately levelled Block
...played as a Nord (or indeed, 5/10 of the other races, but a Nord seems like the biggest deal in Skyrim)
I killed a bunny once with my "evil" character and I hated it so much that I refuse to do it again, even in roleplaying!

Re: I have never...
Me neither. I've never completed Hircine's the "bad" way either. My rationale is that even my evil character is opposed to being outright treacherous (since the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood, while evil, place a high premium on loyalty). For the same reason, she did Mephala's quest but then just left the Ebony Blade where she found it. That thing is an abomination.baratron wrote: ...done Vaermina's quest the "bad" way (I love Erandur too much)

Re: I have never...
I have never intentionally quit a job for the Thieves Guild. It's only happened once, but it was an accident. The wrong conversation topic was highlighted while I was talking to Delvin. I didn't notice, so when I clicked, I quit the job.
On the same topic, I have never managed to get all of the Thieves Guild 'special request' jobs without a frenzy of reloading to get jobs in the places I want.
I've also never managed to create a permanent roleplay character for the following races: Altmer, Breton, Imperial, and Orc.

I never married.
