"Umm... Valentia." the Breton uttered, not dropping her alerted stance. "Look, we've had a bit of a bad run-in with strangers and we're not exactly in a trusting mood... At least I'm not. So... pardon our paranoia."

Re: Tamrielic Adventures: Vol. 2
"I'm Niralie." Niralie was about to ask the young Nord why he hadn't intervened, but she realized that it probably would have ended the same as it had with Katien. Worse, in fact, because at least Katien had used a spell had saved them. She looked around for materials she could use, and spotted a tall tree along the fence, near the back wall of Desele's. She'd likely find the sort of stick she was looking for there.
"I'll be right back," she said to the two. "I'm just getting something to use for Psyfalia's arm." As she began walking there, she added to the young Dunmer woman on the ground, "Look in my bag - it's on Psyfalia's left there - and get out my stamina potion, please. I'll be needing some more and she probably will too." The stamina potion wasn't the only one she kept for emergencies - she also had a sealed bottle of health potion (for all the good it had done her, being far out of reach when she was hurt) and two of magicka potion, as well as some disease cures and poison antidotes. Hopefully they would not be needed.
As Niralie walked toward the tree, she noticed the big Nord continuing on his way toward her friends. She had expected Fornar - who she'd heard call out a minute ago - to confront him while the rest of them fussed over Psyfalia. It was true that the man didn't seem aggressive, and was currently unarmed and ragged-looking, but she hadn't forgotten that he'd been planning on attacking her too. She glanced back at her companions. If they didn't notice him, she'd call a warning to them.

Re: Tamrielic Adventures: Vol. 2
Fornar saw Niralie looking at the Nord who was approaching the group. Fornar knew he had to do something, 'this man looks like trouble' he thought.
Fornar walked to the Nord and blocked his path to the group. 'What ever you were thinking of trying, don't!' he said to the Nord.

Outside
Per looked dully at the elves in front of him. "Eh. I was gonna try and talk to you. You sure you don't want me to do that?" He shrugged, looked around for Arellius a last time and then nodded towards the guardhouse. "Did you kill the Nord girl in charge of the attack by any chance?"

Re: Tamrielic Adventures: Vol. 2
:
Llela had been groggy from being tied up, but the necessity to fight gave her the balance she needed to stand up straight. However, she had no weapon, and so she stayed behind Raylis for now.
Raylis for his part, was holding a steel sword out in front of him, his eyes darting back and forth between Shakh and Gudrun.
"You don't wanna be on the wrong side of this O-"
He was cut short by Gudrun. She was still lying on the ground, grimacing from the pain Raylis' blow had caused, but she had pulled a small whistle out of some pocket. She blew into it and the tone that came out was high-pitched and shrill. Other than the tone being annoying, nothing seemed to happen, but Gudrun's lips formed a devilish grin regardless, as she got up.
A few seconds passed, and then: something appeared out of thin air next to the young Nord woman. It was humanoid, but other than that it was hard to tell exactly what it was. It had dark skin, like a Dunmer. A pair of fiery red eyes shone through the dirty and knot-ridden mess that was the thing's hair. It was dirty and scabbed all over, its feet bare and the rags it was wearing dirty and torn. It hissed viciously as it looked across the room. Then; its eyes rested on Llela it seemed to recognize her. Llela also recognized it: it was Aythu, her's and Llevana's unfortunate companion from the not-so-distant past. The poor girl had certainly not thrived under Gudrun's care. She seemed more feral than ever.
"Watch out!" Llela exclaimed. "That's a vampire!"
Outside the guardhouse
Niralie easily found some wood suitable for what she had in mind. Meanwhile, Sethesi did as she was told and pulled the bottle of Stamina potion out of the Altmer's bag. Though the bottle was transparent, the liquid inside gave it a bright greenish hue. She had received no instructions as to what to do with it, but she assumed some of it was to be administered to the patient.
"Here, here, open your mouth" she said to Psyfalia, as she uncorked the bottle and moved it towards the injured Altmer's mouth.
The rooftop of Desele's
Arellius could only understand bits and pieces of what the cluster of adventurers said; but he soon heard something else in the distance. The sound of dozens of heavy feet marching on the ground. He knew the sound; this wasn't another herd of animals. Those were people. The sound came from the outside of town, behind him.

Psyfalia opened her mouth in order to swallow the potion. Tears were still pouring down her cheeks and her throat was starting to hurt. But compared to her broken arm, that wasn't really her main concern. After all, she had a freaking broken arm!

Arellius Afer III
Arellius frown only deepened as he watched the scene play out in front of him. It wasn't that he hadn't expected the Nord to betray him - treachery tended to be a constant with people you were holding against their will - but for it to be so quick; so immediate. He could only wonder though if the blunders were as unintentional as Per would probably insist. He doubted it, though. The man - thick as he may look - had played him.
Any further thought into the matter was interrupted however by the deep rumbling of many feet behind him. Aghast, he took a step back from the roofs edge, turning and trying to find a good vantage point where he could spy the newcomers.

Rooftop
It wasn't difficult for the Imperial to find a vantage point that allowed him to look at the newcomers. They weren't making a big secret of their presence.
It was a troop of maybe 20 people. They were all wearing Bonemold armor with helmets that concealed their features, and they all had their hands on the grips of their swords. In fact, they all looked pretty much identical as far as height, posture, and walk was concerned. They were marching towards Suran in a not-so-fast but determined pace. They would arrive in roughly 5 to 10 minutes. Arellius couldn't help but feel that they were trouble.
Outside the guardhouse
Psyfalia felt stronger as soon as the liquid went down her throat, though no less in pain.
"Sit tight, your friend should be back soon," Sethesi said, trying to be reassuring. She didn't really know how to deal with people who were in physical pain.

Outside the Guardhouse
"Hey, just a little bit," Niralie advised Sethesi as she arrived back from retrieving the stick. "She'll be a little worn out from the adrenaline, so the potion will help with that. I feel the same at the moment, actually." She kneeled down next to Psyfalia, taking the potion when she was done with it and downing a swallow of it herself. She took out her sword and carefully used the tip to cut a long strip of fabric from the bottom hem of her robes. "Okay, here we go," Niralie warned her. She straightened the bone to its natural position and began to wrap it against the makeshift splint to keep it held straight.
As she worked, she decided to take a better look around. She, Psyfalia, Valentia, and Fornar had made their way out... But where were the others? They had been joined by the young Nord and the waitress from the tavern, and now the older Nord who had tried to kill her was nearby, talking to Fornar. He seemed harmless enough right now, but she didn't trust him one bit, and felt very uneasy with his presence there. The Imperial he'd been with had apparently fled. She realized she was forgetting someone. Katien. She was outside too. Where did she go? She hoped the Imperial hadn't gone after her.
Psyfalia's arm now firmly wrapped, Niralie used the remaining fabric to tie a sling. "All right, now take a couple sips of healing potion," she ordered, passing Aenar's bottle of potion to Psyfalia. "It should heal the break. You'll have to keep your arm in there for a couple days, though - it'll still be delicate."
Her task done, she sat back, voicing her concerns aloud. "The others should have been out by now," she fretted. "Something must have happened to them."

"Va'pire?" Alindrel exclaimed, resummoning her awkwardly held bound sword. "I thought that was a' ogre!"

Arellius Afer III - Suran
Arellius muttered a furious oath to himself upon sighting the men. He didn't know who they were - didn't particularly want to know either - but he was sure they weren't here to help him or his cause (that being if Gudrun was alive and he still had one.) Blades in hand he crouched low.
It was doubtful he'd have more than one chance to make his break.

Outside the Guardhouse
Psyfalia continued to cry due to how much pain she was in. "Make the pain stop! Please!" She cried out to Niralie after her arm had been tended to. She wished that her potions still remained in one piece for would have had the potion to deal with the pain. But because the Nine are cruel divines, she had nothing to help with the pain. She drank some of the healing potion.

"Wait, there's more of you and they're inside?" Sethesi asked Niralie. "I think we probably should go look then, yeah. Heh, seems like I'm a part of things now."
The young Dunmer got up and looked around.
"Okay! Whoever's wounded or otherwise incapacitated, sit back and catch your breath. The rest of us are going inside." She turned to Niralie again:
"Say...what even is going on here?"
