Last night I hung out with some of my improv friends, played Brawl, watched LPs, and at one point one of my friends informed me and the other about a girl that I'm 75% certain he likes that works with special needs kids wanted us to do a performance for them... the night before. He learned Monday. Then this morning I'm awoken by a call concerning the same thing from another one of my friends... guh. I can't believe that one of the only introverts in the group is saying this, but communication people!

Husband came home this morning! Ahh its so good to have him home again, though I did enjoy the 2 week vacation. He brought me a couple gifts, including a super sweet set of shell hoop earrings. He knows I love my hoops. :D And he was glad to know I left the trash ready for him to take out muahaha. I have tons of homework to do today ugh.

So today I went down to the local church and got some free food. Not your usual fun of the mill, they were handed down pallets of fresh food, plenty of which was well quality. Got a box of randoms and a box of bread goods<_< I checked in and in total I got 5 baguettes, whole grain loaf, 3 baking breads, French, and wheat rolls. Boy did I luck out.

Also got a set for my sister-in-law, ended up going through the randoms, giving off what I already knew she'll want and my neice. She got a thing of cotton candy cupcakes<_<

I got up on time and got my siblings out for school in a timely manner then slept until 10 or so. My dad and I watched parts of Officer Down and then I had to gather my siblings from the bus. And then this [&@%!] proved that they ain't [&@%!] and got blocked on skype and I've been playing the cookie game all day and skype rping with people who aren't going to get offensive and rude when I don't reply after six seconds of waiting.

Meh.. finally can relax.. started today nicely.. now painfully...
Was helping my dad work out back, and well.. had an accident. Ended up cracking 3 of my ribs on my left side.. given that side is weaker anyways. Had an x-ray done, got some really nice pain killers, and some anti-inflammatory to prevent my lung from acting up and breaking my ribs through.
So yeah.. it's nice to be home.. not sure how I'll sleep but I'll find a way for sure

Spent the morning and about half of the afternoon modding Skyrim. With the knowledge I gained yesterday, I created myself a black set of Dwarven armor and weapons to match the bow in Kagrumez. Most of the work was from setting up the meshes and the CK. Tweaking the textures didn't take long, though I think I might have a few changes to make to the cubemap.

Other than that, I cleaned out the hedgehog's tank. Replaced the bedding and gave that thing a good wipe from top to bottom. Now I can actually see clearly through the glass.
I did manage to locate a pair of gloves I could use to pick up the hedgehog with. They aren't leather, though. They're just an old and worn out pair of winter gloves. I figured they would have to do.

I let the hedgehog wander around the living room/kitchen earlier. It was curious, but quite timid. Didn't like meeting the cat apparently.
The hedgehog was also licking my fingers earlier, too. Dunno why.

Bah. I didn't really do that much today. Didn't even get around to doing writing. I got distracted by the idea of using a realistic ice replacer to retexture the ice on the Stalhrim armor and weapons. Which is what I have been doing for the past hour. It's time to go to bed, though. My fingers aren't cooperating anymore.

Today I realized my brother had one of his articles cited on the Wikipedia page for our hometown. I find this entirely hilarious and awesome. Go little bro!

Today I started translating my dad's book into English. It's a coin catalogue and he's actually recognized as a world-class expert on XIX and XX century Polish coins. Rather narrow field, but it's cool anyway (and occasionally hilarious when he turns to the Internet for information and he gets "you should consult this guy" when "this guy" is actually him). He took me to a numismatic museum opening a couple of months ago and it was surprisingly enjoyable. ;)

I have class in an hour and I can't feel my throat. My chest feels all weird and I don't feel good. Not sure what to do, since I missed class yesterday and we only get so many excused absences. :(

I was caught in a traffic jam at 7 am, so I popped in a disc and blasted the Mortal Kombat theme song, the guy next to me appreciated it and the woman behind me was quietly plotting to snap my neck if I tried to judge her expression though there was nothing stopping her from raising her windows and turning on the radio. And the guy in front of me was just kind of ambivalent, which killed the fun, but that's alright, I was too busy laughing at the lady behind me.

I did that when I was like four or so. Got my stuffed animals, my Legos, put 'em in my Bob the Builder backpack, and hit the road. Never looked back.

But yeah, college. Good for you, bro.

I actually did do that once when little, but my sense of direction was so bad that I wandered around for thirty moments and somehow managed to end up back on my home block...which defeated the point.

Today I slept a ton and watched some stuff I'd been saving on my DVR. Then when my parents came home from their diving trip, I got in a small altercation with my dad over something stupid and a hour later he and I went on a chicken run but the place we were going to get it from was closed 20 minutes early and achieved chicken at Popeye's.

Did some chores at home, then went out with my friends and got hit on at a bar for the first time. This is a new experience for me and I wasn't quite sure how to handle it.

Visited my parents, who were babysitting my nigh-four year old niece for the weekend. Probably saw more Disney cartoons in these two hours on an iPad than what I absorbed through eight years of Saturday mornings on Channel 13.

Went shopping earlier. On our way in, we dropped my brother's dog off at the shop. Glad to have that mutt gone again... For however long she will be gone.
After that, we had lunch and then stopped at the pet store to pick up a new wheel for the hedgehog. The old one was too big, not quite round, and covered in crap. Also squeaky. Really squeaky.

I did also pick up some proper leather gloves for handling the critter. The winter gloves worked for a while, but the hedgehog's spines finally managed to poke through the fabric. The leather gloves are tougher, even though I bought them at a dollar store. The hedgehog seemed to be curious about them. It was licking and biting the leather when I let it sit on my hands.

Anyway, I somehow wound up cooking dinner. So I made tacos. With extra onion and garlic, of course. I got a kick out of how intolerant my family is of garlic. I only put in four cloves of garlic for what was 12 tacos. I would have rather used the whole thing, but I was being considerate of the others.

After dinner, I went to my computer and continued working on my icy Stalhrim textures. Finished the heavy armor and most of the light armor. I just have the light helmet and weapons to go. I also retextured one of the Dragonborn Dragon Priest masks to match the Stalhrim armor/weapons. I'll add that in as a separate mask.

Now I think I'm off to bed. I'm tired. Couldn't really sleep last night because of the heat. I doubt tonight will be much different.

Great. I went to bed last night with a fever, coughed all night, and woke up with a burning sore throat. [&@%!]! I powered through class yesterday but I don't feel good enough to do so today. If I don't rest now, I'll be in serious trouble and have to miss work.

But I'm battling it. Turmeric and sea salt garggles, peppermint and lavender tea from my garden, a mixture of nasty tasting herbs to boost my immune system and fight the crap in my throat, well as probiotics 3x per day and chavanprash immune booster. And chicken soup. Its going to be a long day.
