I am wrapping up quests in Balmora. I have recently learned about Enchanting (I'm in love with it). I'm still working out some tweaks and learning the mechanics, but I am currently working on enchanting jewelry.
The issue I am having now is finding enough jewelry to enchant for all the fun ideas I am coming up with.
Is there a certain NPC type that usually Barters jewelry (eg Armorer, Clothier, Alchy, Mages Guilds)?
So far I have only found one vendor that had one ring. I tried resting for 24 hours and returning, a couple of times, but no inventory reset.
Is there a way to reset inventories, once I have found some vendors selling them, other than weird things like Killing and Resing?
Thanks
Purchase Jewelry?

The Clothier in Balmora sells jewelery.

Great. Thank you. If he doesn't have any at the time, is there a way to reset it (without console cmds etc.)

Re: Purchase Jewelry?
You can look up every merchant in the wiki, there's always a list of his or her items and the restocking ones are marked with negative numbers (so "-2" next to a sword means "merchant has two swords, if you buy them and exit dialogue they will appear again in the merchants inventory"). The Balmora clothier doesn't have any restocking jewelery.
But you can always go and do some other stuff for a while, maybe visit other cities (and maybe find another merchant with jewelery for sale) and come back later? It's not like you absolutely must do all that enchanting this very moment, right?

Re: Purchase Jewelry?
How high a level in enchant do you need to have to start having a decent chance of enchanting something? According to the article in this site, enchanting is practically impossible, so that's why I haven't even tried it.

Re: Purchase Jewelry?
It all depends on what kind of enchantments you're trying to create. If it's a powerful constant effect, the wiki is right - it's almost impossible without making massively overpowered Fortify Intelligence potions first. But simpler items are perfectly doable when your Enchanting is around 50 or 60 with regular Fortify potions for reinforcement.

Without looking at the wiki I can tell you a few clothers that sell jewlrey. The clother in Balmora, the clother under Skar in Ald-ruhn, I think there's a clother in Caldera, and there should be a clother in the Foreign Cantan in Vivic. That's all the clothers I can thiink of. Hope that helps.

Re: Purchase Jewelry?
Clothiers, pawn brokers, general traders and enchanters may sell jewelry. Check out the merchants in the Vivec Foreign Quarter canal works, I believe 1 or 2 of the merchants there sell various qualities of jewelry. Also, check out Ald-ruhn merchants, especially under Skar. I believe the Redoran general trader in the Redoran Council Hall sells jewelry but I might be mistaken; he's definitely worth a look though.

When you get up in levels a bit, you find a fair bit of exquisite stuff as random loot as well. Although by that time, you've probably moved on from needing the things you can make yourself.
It might be worth taking a trip to Mournhold early on to check out the shops over there as well.
