I'm glad that you are now free of him. I hope you are okay and will find somone who will treat you the right way. Although, i'm surprised he is letting you use his car. If I lived nearby and was able to lift heavy stuff, I would offer my help but sadly, I do not and am unable to. I hope you will be able to get someone to help you with your desk.

Thank you everyone it means a lot. Tommorrow stress begins anew, my youngest sister is in her early 20's and she just had a baby. The stressful part isn't the baby himself but her. She hasn't matured past 16 years of age and still leaves a mess everywhere. She has to help me get my computer desk upstairs but she will probably claim "too tired"

I stayed at my boo's house last night, because my power was out. (Don't worry it was not in the same bed... well... not yet anyway) He was having his graduation party and did not tell me, because he wanted to surprise me and a ton of my friends were there. He is so sweet :3. We stayed up till three AM with his cousin watching secret circle, then we woke up this morning to go to church and it was closed due to the lack of electricity so instead we went around neighborhoods inspecting the damages, there were several downed trees, and many that had been struck by lightning. We went back to his house after getting some coffee, then we went... swimming, and then we went back to his bedroom and he cuddled up to me and fell asleep for 30-40 min, then we shared our first kiss. He is the only person who I have not cringed at touching my neck.

That sucks dude.

Break-ups are almost never fun..

You know we are here if you need to talk, and feel free to PM me if you like.

I've been known to be peoples "rant-buddy" before, and sometimes it really does help to just let it all out. (And it's even easier when it's someone you don't particularly know.)

Break-ups suck. :(

My girlfriend had to break up with me a week into the summer. All through finals and the last weeks of school I was looking forward to spending the summer with her. But she left right away, and looking back, I feel like I wasted my entire summer vacation in angst and (mostly) boredom.

Or, on the other hand, your "rant buddy" could be someone who you know very well, and you know won't judge you (such as mine).

On a topic-related note, pretty sure I've not only been friendzoned, but completely destroyed my relationship with my crush - I'm not entirely sure how the second part even happened.

Oh, and I'm at my Nan's again, and it's getting to a point where we're arguing over the stupidest little things. Example: Today, there was a movie that she had put on. She wasn't really paying attention, my sister was on the iPad, and I was on my laptop. So, she decides to start moaning at ME ALONE, telling me to stop being so unsociable and that I should spend less time on "that bloody machine" - my laptop. It ended with me asking her to stop pestering me, and then telling her that I was on holiday, the point of which was entertainment, and that I was getting more entertainment out of my laptop than I was out of "this crappy movie". I then proceeded to take the "bloody machine" upstairs. This isn't the first time I've just not been able to even face her after an argument; it's just the most recent.

Ugh, I'm so sorry moonsugarkind... I can really empathize with you, even though nothing like that's happened to me. But the thought of losing my girlfriend scares the hell out of me, and I know the pain you must be going through. We're all here for you, and if you need someone to talk to, I am always just a PM away, really, not just saying that to be polite. Everything will be okay, my friend. /)

glob everyone is so supportive ; n;/ She texted me last night saying we could be friends still and I haven't responded yet. I don't think I can be friends with someone who behaves like that, who'd throw away my feelings so easily?????? and then yell at me for being upset over that?

You're definitely right that right now, you can't be friends. There's too many emotions all tied up. What you need to do now is just have fun and do things for yourself. Once time has passed and you have the ability to objectively, and unbiasedly, look back at your relationship, you can decide if it's someone you want to be friends with. For now, it might be best for you to leave it on a hopeful note but say you need some time for yourself.

When I had my ex who I had been with for five years, I was always so sure that we would one day be friends despite our bad break up, simply because of the length of our relationship. We tried talking soon after the break up, but there were too many emotions there, naturally, and I asked him to give me a year. He never responded, and I never talked about him, and life went on. He actually sent me a message a few weeks ago, but after not talking to him for three or four years, I realized what a huge jerk he was - and still was, based on the nature of his message - and that I really didn't want to be a friend with someone who acted like that - so I just politely told him that I appreciated the thoughtfulness, but I wasn't interested in catching up. And it was a great decision. Time to heal, move on, and think back to learn lessons from those five years really helped me see him for who he was, and that was someone who didn't care about me or take me seriously...and I didn't want to revisit that. Maybe it would have gone differently, but for me, it didn't. Who knows what it'll be for you!

Just keep your chin up and go and do something for you. Have fun - that's the best "revenge" for a broken heart.

No way, the best policy after a break up is definitely no contact. That way everyone has time to cool off and heal. And you never know where the roads might take you, Moonsugarkind. You might end up realizing someone else is better for you, or that you don't want to be involved with anyone right now, etc. Seems like you are doing fine, take your space all you want!

Interesting enough, my ex boyfriend of 9 yrs texted and called me the other day. Granted, he was sending me pictures of the poodle we owned together (that he still has) and it was much appreciated. But we haven't spoken in 3 years so it was a bit odd. I responded with a 'thank you' for the pictures, didn't pick up when he called, and didn't text back when he texted me again the next morning. I feel a bit bad pulling the [&@%!] card but hey, I'm married, and I know my husband wouldn't like that one bit. Just weird. Just weird.

yeah i'm not that upset about it anymore, actually. since the breakup, i've spoken to people, rped with my friends and played some skyrim so it doesn't really hurt so much. just really sucks since it was so sudden i guess.

@dovah: bahaha wow. my last ex got me a kitten for my birthday but i definitely took her with me when we broke up so that kind of thing would be avoided. he was a real jerk and the last het relationship i was in, for good reason :x he tried to talk to me on facebook a few months ago but i just deleted the message without looking at his profile.

Awww... Yeah, she doesn't deserve you after throwing your heart away like that. I'm so sorry, man.

So my girlfriend suspects her dad is cheating on her mom... So sad. She's talked about him acting suspicious in the past, but yesterday she went onto her Guest profile on her laptop (which only her dad uses besides her) to fix a problem with her friend's computer, and her dad's email was signed in. Well she saw some notification emails from Fling.com... I feel so bad for everyone involved. :( At least my parents had been separated for a few years when I found out that my dad had cheated on my mom, but for it to be going on currently... It must be so heartbreaking being her right now. I hardly know her parents and it really upsets me, I can't imagine what she must be feeling at this point.

So my hiatus will continue for one more day, because now I need a day of healing because I just had my beating heart ripped from my chest. I was told by someone I was more into than I had any right to be who let me hold him, kiss him, and hear his every thought and dream that he felt nothing for me, nothing. Not love, not kindness, not even friendship. As horrible as I feel right now, and as worthless as I feel, I don't blame him for feeling how he felt. No one can help who they feel for and who they don't. That just does not help me feel any better. Because even after pushing me away, I still feel for him. I just wish I had not wasted my time or even tried.

But Hissien, getting our hearts broken is how we learn what we don't want in relationships, or what the values are that matter to us most. Experience is golden and that's what you receive from relationships that don't work out. Gotta kiss quite a bit of toads before you find your prince. <3

@Hiessien: I know how you feel on the deepest, most basic level. Take it from someone who was there then never gave up on them that they're just not worth it. They really, /really/ aren't. You'll find someone that thinks the world of you in your own time, but it's just not this guy. I wish I would have gotten this advice back in February when I was in the same position with my now ex-girlfriend. It sucks, I know. I know just how horrible it feels but you can and will get through this.

In other fun news, my dad threatened to kick me out again, which upset my brother so much he cried and got my dad's attention away from me while he chastised him for ""crying like a girl"".
