I agree about Gabriella, as well; I've loved her ever since I heard her response to "what can you tell me about yourself?" She also feels more like a friend and equal as opposed to someone you have to impress compared to a lot of the other Brotherhood members.

Yeah, if we ever could marry Gabriella, remind me never to go on a moonlit walk with her as a romantic night out
It's not like my poaching is hurting anyone, the other hunters can hardly track every deer, can they?

Just in defence, that's NOT why I said Vex
I thought she was funny, in a sometimes scary way, and some of her conversations with nearby guildmembers made me laugh

How did this thread get to three pages without mention of Aranea Ienith?
Also:
Hermir Strong-Heart - I'd create a character named "Ulfric" if she was marriageable.

Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.
Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

What about Angi? being able to marry someone who lives in the middle of nowhere, like she does, would be great.

Angi lives so far out of the way that I still haven't met her.
No love for Grelka on this thread? She might have a better disposition if she didn't live in the bunkhouse.

If you could marry Serana I might be persuaded to get Hearthfire. I'm a werewolf, she's a vampire; just imagine the arguments about which way we should raise the kids.

Crusader...it's simple, just get two and raise them one each way, and then compare whose parenting skills were more efficient when the child matures

Dika: Ain't that the truth! I suppose if Onmund and Vilkas were men enough to marry my moody, conceited, deadly, drop dead gorgeous Dovahkiins, then Vex deserves a mate as well. Ya got me there!
And no one has mentioned my girl crush in Skyrim, Faralda. Come now, she's banging.
Edit: Grelka? Yeah sure, if you want the [&@%!] beaten out of you on a daily basis! HAHAHA!
Totally. Its one of the things that bugs me about Skyrim, that you can't interact with that family and make things slightly better besides getting an amulet of Arkay for the dad.MadAndyD wrote: Nilsine Shatter-Shield- that family deserves some happiness.

@Dohva, you can't even return Aegisbane to them, I mean, the related quest optionally involves slaughtering the remaining daughter...where's the nice option of explaining it all and giving back their heirloom? -Sure, you're an assassin, but that doesn't mean you don't have a heart-ish.
Salma, of Ironbind Barrow... she came to Skyrim looking for adventure, and adventure kicked her in the feelings... it'd be nice to cheer her up.
Sybille Stentor, Court Wizard of Solitude, secretly a vampire-yet not hostile at any time, she'd make an excellent vampire spouse (a proper one, not the Volkihar's dodgy attempt)
Uaile, Nepos the Nose's 'Maid'- If you were to side with her father in the Cidnha mine quest, then why the hell not?-you'd share a cause

Well, you can at least catch Friga's killer, which might make them feel a little better, but for some reason they never mention it.
^ The game just needs vampire spouses in general. Didn't Bethesda learn anything from all those "paranormal romance" aisles in bookstores?

What would be the point, when you can make any spouse a vampire?

@Br3ad, because 1) not all spouses are eligible, and 2) Once you have 'turned' a spouse, there are no real changes, they may as well not be a vampire- marrying a real one would at least let it seem to be sorted- to be honest, the marriage system lacks depth for any of it to matter, really.

Re: Skyrim is full of great women who can't be married
1)Except for the Circle, everyone is eligible.
2)They aren't flagged as undead, but they have pretty much everything else a Vampire does. As to the "more sorted" comment, I really don't think it would. As you said, it lacks depth either way.

Only today I discovered that Maven threatens to leave Ingun penniless if she doesn't go into the family business. All the more reason to be able to marry Ingun and give her some much-needed affection and financial support. And also to kill Maven but sadly you can't do that.

Re: Skyrim is full of great women who can't be married
The one every seems to over look is Annekke Crag-Jumper. Her husband, Verner Rock-Chucker, turned into a hum drum of a fellow obsessed with the mine and ignores his wife who just wants to explore and kill the odd bandit on the side. Sure you can marry her daughter, Sylgja, but she doesn't seem to have the gumption to get out and explore the world.
I may have to accidentally cause a cave in and get Verner out of the way so I can steal his wife away to a life of adventure.
