Alright, come on guys, serious posts please.
Did you know that you can throw a Cabbage with telekinesis in a city and even if it doesn't hit someone initially it can still roll and touch someone and it will count as a criminal act?

Did you know that you can get Arniel Gane, the College mage, to vanish from the face of the Earth by helping him with his Dwemer project? It adds just more mystery to the whole disappearance of the Dwarves thing.

Ring-a-ding, baby.

Did you know that the original plans for both Mephala and Boethiah's quests were both longer, and both involved the murder of a jarl, but these quests were shortened in order to meet the 11.11.11 release date?

^The same applies to the Civil War. And the interesting thing is that the "bones" of that original, more epic war are still there in the code, and the modders are using them to recreate Beth's original idea (check out Civil War Overhaul).

Speaking of things unfinished by Bethesda, did you know there was originally going to be an Arena in Skyrim? You would battle creatures as well as NPCs.

How can you get such a specific conclusion from these events when he didn't even do the exact same thing that they did?DikaSmausha wrote:Which is very interesting, it shows that they have indeed went to an alternate form of space.Arch-Mage Matt wrote:Did you know that you can get Arniel Gane, the College mage, to vanish from the face of the Earth by helping him with his Dwemer project? Dzio, sorry, it wasn't meant to sound like an aggressive comeback, I just forgot to punctuate it with a smiley
I just once made the mistake of spending a couple of hours on the nexus... it made my Xbox version seem too inferior
Following Musicman's last post, did you know that Alain Dufont (target of the quest 'Mourning Never Comes') was originally intended to be a part of said arena?

@Andy - Eh, that's the beauty of online communication - my post wasn't sarcastic or anything, it was actually supposed to mean "oh well, that's too bad, I didn't want to make you feel jealous".
I didn't read your reply as aggressive at all.
Back to the topic - did you know that there are several dungeons that can be entirely bypassed by a clever combination of jumping and Whirlwind Sprint (though it may break some quests)?

Okay Dzio
I'm glad that's not one big misunderstanding...maybe one day we'll be able to convey tone in electronic communication
Did you know that lots of quests in Skyrim have non-essential stages that can be skipped if you know what to do?
-For example, in the first College of Winterhold quest, you can skip the tour of the college with Mirabelle by heading straight to Tolfdir's lecture, and the Dawnguard quest 'Prophet' by heading straight to the cave that contains the person you seek.

Re: Did you know...
Whiterun's Ulfberth War-Bear was named after an expensive, ahead of the time sword from Viking days the 'Ulfberth', made only from 700-1000 AD (roughly). The weapon was considered to be the Rolls-Royce of swords, and also thought to have magical powers. So when warriors died, their Ulfberth swords were buried with them. <3

Re: Did you know...
Well, the awesome part about it is that there's only been about 200 of these swords found in burial sites or in rivers. They were rare, even in their day. They were made of cleaner steel and were very flexible. The makers of these swords had imitators though, there was another brand of sword made just like it with a similar name.

Dovakiin, do you have Netflix?
I watched the show about these swords last night! A very interesting show. Shows the depths Beth goes to find names for all these folks. Alot cooler than the prefix and suffix lists they used in Arena.

Re: Did you know...
I never understood why that didn't stay in. You think it would be perfect for the Nords. (Then again, it was in Oblivion probably because of inspiration from the Roman gladiators.)Musicman247 wrote:Speaking of things unfinished by Bethesda, did you know there was originally going to be an Arena in Skyrim? Re: Did you know...
@Dika, I think like most of the unfinished elements it was simply not ready in time for the prized 11.11.11 release date, I think I speak for almost every single ES fan when I say we'd have all much rather had more content than a pretty release date
