Re: Bioshock
Trailer for those who don't want to follow the link and input their age.
Anway, I'm so getting it. Seeing as it is split into two parts and the first costs $15 (so will probably be €15) I'm wondering if getting the season pass would make more sense. I don't know how much it costs in Euro but that trailer said it was $20. Paying €20 would make more sense than paying €30. Meh, I'll see.
Also I guess this means
Is there anyway to tie System Shock into that whole Man, Lighthouse, City thing? I'm planning on getting System Shock 2 off GOG at some point down the line.

Dude, triple post much?
But yeah, that looks amazing. Might have to spring for the DLC season pass now...or wait a year and get the GOTY edition.

Re: Bioshock
I don't think so. Bioshock 2 was made because 2K loves money not because people really wanted to make the game. But I'm thinking Irrational are making this because they honestly want to make something good.

Re: Bioshock
Am I the only one who thought that Nolan North was the voice actor for Booker in Infinite? As I was very surprised when I discovered that it was Troy Baker who voiced him. He's the bloke that does Chris Redfield from Resident Evil(5&6) as well as other characters in other games.

Re: Bioshock
I didn't due to Baker doing a Nolan North impression when he voiced Booker. Also, I think the Burial at Sea DLC will show us a lot about Rapture before it went to hell. Hopefully, we will get a few Big Daddies and I suspect Delta will make a cameo or appearance at some point due to him doing his rounds on that fateful evening. Although I had hoped that the DLC would be something else but am glad it's Rapture.

Re: Bioshock
December 31st 1958 is when the civil war started. That is the date on the calander in Booker's office in the trailer.

I'm going to try to not analyze much in this trailer so that my head doesn't explode.

Re: Bioshock
From a surprisingly lucid commenter on YouTube:
"According to Wikipedia Johnny Mathis (The singer of Wonderful Wonderful, the song in the Burial at Sea trailer) released a album in 1962 titled "Rapture" and it was published by Columbia records.
And he has a sister called Elizabeth."
How does that even

Re: Bioshock
Oh my god you guys, none of you remember the conversation in the GD where I was with Veck on how not-confusing the Infinite plot is? I just mean that I don't want to dissect the hints we have at what this new DLC will bring.

Re: Bioshock
It's my understanding that the voxophones simply provide additonal backstory. The main thing can be experienced without listening to any of them.Veck wrote:Some people managed to miss half of the Voxophones and couldn't be arsed to spend five minutes on Google.Mars wrote:I'm sorry, you were actually confused by Infinite's plot?

Re: Bioshock
There's a difference between being really confused about something and analyzing and reanalyzing the complex plot to find stuff you missed the first time around. Which is more fun than just reading it off google.
Anyways, the voxo phones just provide more back story, but also tell you more about the main story if you dissect it.
