dawnguard/bloodline issue

i cannot get in Castle Volkihar. i understand this is a possible bug, yet i'm not sure how i'm suppose to type in these suggested corrections if i am playing on PS3 platform. i have Serana with me she has never once gone into explaining what i'm suppose to do once i get to the castle so when i do get there all the guard says is go away. i have stopped to ask her several times during the walk up the bridge to no avail. i have restated teh whole mission, but again nothing. the really frustrating thing is not only can i not finish this quest, but i cannot get rid of her either! i have been playing this skyrim game for quite awhile and this is the first glitch i have ever encountered. i'm tempted to remove dawnguard altogether, if that is at all possible, and forget it. please help!

If I remember correctly all you need to do is take Serana up to the castle door with you. The guy at the door recognizes her and in you go.

Your so luck if this is your first glitch. I have come across several. The longer I play a character the more I find.

I have no clue how Skyrim works on a PS3 so I do not know if you can disable any of the DLC's or not.

And that's we I play on PC. Try waiting for serana to come there with u. If it doesn't help unistall dlc and reinstall. U will have many more bugs which can't be fixed normally but only thru console commands on PC...
