Sun Damage

So one day I fast travel to markath only to find it was attacked by vampires. I thought this would be a great time to cast Vampire's Bane mercilessly. Soon many people joined the festivity, and I thought I finally get the benefit of Vampire's Bane over Fireball. Then the Vigilant dude Tyranusaurus from Molag bal quest came along. Not long he was suddenly started attacking me. Turned out Tyranus gained damage from vampire's Bane. I thought he was vampire in secret.

I was curious, so I tried the spell on other Vigilants on the road. Stendarr's Aura, Sun Fire and Vampire's bane are the spells. Strangely they also damaged from such spells. Not only them, Honingbrew Reveler also damaged from Stendarr's Aura, Sun Fire and Vampire Bane.

Guards and other NPCs are not affected. Is this a glitch ?

The NPC's you've named are all those who are also damaged by other usually non-hostile powers such as 'Courage' and 'Rally,' so I think it probably just merges with that glitch/bug/oversight, or whatever it is. At least we now know that those magic types also cause those NPC's to go aggressive.

Other than that though, unfortunately, not a wholly new found glitch

I didn't know such glitch exist
So that's why Grelond the Kind died instantly when I rune-frenzied her.

Is there any list of NPCs /Creatures affected by such glitch ?

I can't help but think I've seen one somewhere on the UESP, but I can't for the life of me seem to find it. If I come across it again, I'll be sure to post it here, or if anyone reading this knows of said list's location, that'd be helpful... Sorry Pancake. :/
