I am an Imperial and have been asked to get the documents from the Stormcloak Courier.
However somethings fritzed and the Courier seems to be stuck inside a wall. The innkeeper tells me he's in the Inn (Look and you'll find him) so I follow the marker down the hall and into the bedroom. The marker is on the wall as if he is in the next room but if I go into the next room the marker is on the joining wall again so I can't get to him. Tried loads of different stuff, can I just enter a console command to give me the documents?
Don't have any mods and everything else has worked fine up till now.
Thanks.

Well you could use TCL and pickpocket the orders. Have you tried letting some time go by? He never really makes a serious attempt to get to his destination in Dawnstar.

I have had this happen. Two things you can try. Waiting for a day or two. Or going back to a save before you enter the Inn. Its a clipping issue, the npc gets stuck on something in the world and it throws them into walls and such. A similar issue happens when you go to mine ore but just stand there swinging the pick and never getting any ore. The game does not see you at the ore so you never get anything and have to move and try again.

Look for PC console code setstage to progress to next point in the quest. I fixed many bugs like that. I can't imagine how [&@%!] off id be if I played on console
