Re: The Official TES VI Wishlist thread
It could be done, given they are built so much like PC's. It should just be use the CK on the computer, and download to console. That would be great. Though I am sure there would be some restrictions.
Nothing is true, everything is permitted.

Yeah, that'd be great.
I also want the radiant quests to be taken a step further, with the RQs being more varied and interesting.

Make Enchanting the way it was in Morrowind - limitless, powerful, expensive and requiring a lot of patience to get good at.

And also give us back the ability to wear clothes underneath armour, robes outside armour/clothes, etc
Also, one thing that would add to the immersion, especially in third-person view, would be if we could see Our hero wear a backpack, and pouches hanging from the belt, and so on - makes it look a bit more realistic to carry around 10-15 swords, 2-3 sets of armour, a couple of hundred lockpics, etc that way.

Most clothes do have pouches and things.
And since you're on PC there's Bandolier - Bags and Pouches which adds them as separate items, and Knapsack Backpacks. Both on Steam and Nexus.

That too. I hated Oblivion and Skyrim because clothes under armor just made sense.AngryNord wrote:And also give us back the ability to wear clothes underneath armour, robes outside armour/clothes, etc

The reason it was changed was so the player had less items to enchant, so if wearing clothes underneath was brought back then enchantments would probably weakened.

Re: The Official TES VI Wishlist thread
But that didn't stop enchantment from being overpowered in Skyrim.
I would like to see Ultragreatswords get introduced. They can floor an enemy and do massive amount of damage but are very slow and you are taking a huge risk using them. If you miss, you are open to attack due to the sword being a heavy [&@%!] and takes a few second to lift from the floor as well as every weapon type from Morrowind be reintroduced. Also, whips should make an appearance to show that weapons are progressing at a slow pace. And unarmed to be a viable option. It is not fun to use in Skyrim due to the very limited nature of it. Oblivion's wasn't perfect but it was viable and prehaps split it into many martial arts via unarmed schools. Some focus on doing a lot of damage, some on speed etc.. As well as unarmed weapons.
The hero is not a chosen one but just an average citizen as it's getting old. It is debatable whether the COC was a chosen one or not but it seems for the past 3 games, the heroes were chosen.
For the Thu'um to not return as it would make no sense if we could use that in combat and are not Dragonborn. It could make a cameo but I would prefer for something unique to replace it in TES6.
More roleplaying options and the ability to chose our walking speed. I dislike walking in TES because it is very easy to run when you just want to walk.
Better Stealth. Something like Batman:AC's system but suited to TES. From throwing a stone to distract someone to being able to knock out a patroling enemy and drag their body out of sight.

More spell:
Elements,
Animations (rather than just Icy spear = large Ice spike)
Creation at higher levels
More weapon differentiation like spell animation, generic iron sword should be able to get dyed with blood or designed in the forge with gold e.t.c.
(obviously, no lagging)
Wider immersion; more people, more dialogue, asking for directions, quests and well, choices in general!
Improved power of Conjuration spells past level 40. I also would like Thralls for non-humans or even a full resurrection at the cost of your Black soul-gem soul. Then this should overwrite the 'essential' NPCs as only the essentials' bodies cannot disappear, allowing you to resurrect them to their full scripts later on in the game with a higher Conjuration level.

Im amazed with the trailer of the witcher 3 at E3. I think Bethesda will wait to see the first rpgs of the new generation to make TES 6. We are going to have Witcher 3, Dark Souls 2, Dragon age 3 and TES online .....all in 2014....i need to save money for a new pc...

The realism of Skyrim with the weapons and armour combinablity and variety of Morrowind with the story-strength of Oblvion.
More spell variety (a return to spell crafting would be great)
Oh and Maiq the Liar obviously!

No. Shouts should be left out. It takes years to master one, unless you are Dragonborn.Redguard OfTheEmpire wrote:We had the Adoring Fan in TES: IV

I agree shouts should be left alone, but something should be added in it's place, hopefully a province specific thing.

Re: The Official TES VI Wishlist thread
Here's my wish list for the next installment:
1. No more "streamlining".
Bethesda have skinned the RPG-genre to the bones with Skyrim. Now it's time to add more RPG-elements. I'm not necessarily asking them to bring back typical RPG-elements (like attributes, classes, etc.), but just some things that makes the game feel more like an RPG and less of an action-game.
2. More choices and better consequences.
In any good RPG, there are choices and consequences. You make a choice and the game world changes to reflect that choice. This makes the world feel alive and evolving, instead of constantly staying the same no matter what you do. Sadly, the choices and consequences in the series have become less and less significant (probably because of the "streamlining" mentioned above) and this really affects the gameplay. The gameplay modes in RPG's are mainly: exploration, combat and dialogue. While the series has definitely improved in the first two aspects, the dialogue has become boring and almost pointless. To make dialogue more fun, add more interesting NPC's to talk to, more options for things to say and bring back the skill-based dialogue options. When it comes to quests, I'd like to have more solutions available, to bring a bit of variety and re-playability to them.
3. Let go of my hand!
These games are made for adults, so why am I being treated like a five year-old most of the time? Put some faith into me and let me figure out stuff on my own. If I fail, then I fail. I'll learn from my mistakes and do better next time. It's not necessary to guide my every move, not allowing me to make mistakes. This is a real ugly trend in modern games that seriously needs to die before it gets even worse.

A system similar to alchemy but for spells, with at least some opportunities to actually invent an entirely new spell, so that you really feel like you're participating in cutting edge arcane research.

Not really, from what I understand the idea is "take what's best in every previous TES game". Can't say I disagree, I never understood why they insist on changing not just the stuff that needs improving, but also the things that are clearly working well (like the depth of faction questlines in Oblivion or the sometimes deadly and sometimes friendly unlevelled world in Morrowind).DikaSmausha wrote:Pretty much, make it more like Morrowind.

Re: The Official TES VI Wishlist thread
Exactly. I don't want it to be like Morrowind specifically. I want it to be more like an RPG in general. Elder Scrolls is kind of like a metal band who's gravitated away from their early work and what they originally stood for. I respect that they take the series wherever they want, but I'm just hoping they can go back to the roots a little.dzio wrote:Not really, from what I understand the idea is "take what's best in every previous TES game". Re: The Official TES VI Wishlist thread
I don't know, the combat in Morrowind sucked, compared to Skyrim, and the "world reacting to your actions" aspect wasn't all that hot either.
Actually, that last one is something that TES games still haven't managed to figure out. Sure, it's nice when a guard says I'm wearing a sweet armor or shares a rumor about an assassination I just carried out, but those small touches are just this - little additions, not the main thing. I want to see a city burned to the ground because I screwed up and have merchants offering me super discounts because I saved their town, not just hear an extra line of dialogue.
