I downloaded Better Bodies v2.2 from Morrowind Nexus, installed it and did all that stuff but it's not working right. Every time I launch the game, lots of error messages pop up saying that they can't find this and that file.
I'm kinda new to modding so I don't have any clue of what's going on. Can someone help?

Re: Better Bodies Errors
I don't know, I can't find Better Bodies 2.2 for download on Morrowind Nexus? There's one without a version number, that might be it, because it was just a re-upload. It has an exe file, and people are complaining that it doesn't work on the steam version, apparently because you have to change the directory it installs to, to the main directory of Morrowind (not data files). Hope this helps! (though if you are getting errors then id DID install at least something to somewhere, or maybe just registered the mod into the game?)

Re: Better Bodies Errors
Yeah that's the version I have. The readme says that it's version 2.2
I tried a few things before I made this thread. I noticed that it did install it to the wrong directory because I got the game through Steam. I installed it to the correct directory. Then I took the .esp file and dropped it in to Morrowind/Data Files. Every time I try to start the game with the mod enabled, I'm getting an error message that says this:
If I press 'No', the game stops. If I press 'Yes', another similar message pops up but with a different file. Maybe there's something wrong in the installation? I don't know if it's suppoused to be like this but all of the mod's files are in a new folder inside the Data Files, also called Data Files (Morrowind/Data Files/Data Files). Inside there, there is are the files 'Better Bodies.txt', 'Better Bodies.esp' (which I've moved to Morrowind/Data Files) and two folders (or directories or whatever you call them) called 'Textures' and 'Meshes' which apparently contain all the mod files. That's all that's there.
I tried moving the Textures and Meshes to Morrowind/Data Files, but it won't let me do that because there are two folders with the same names already in that directory, and I'm not going to overwrite anything if I don't know what it does.
Does this give a clearer picture? Or have I just wasted minutes by writing all this stuff?

Re: Better Bodies Errors
The error message implies that the game can't find the meshes that belongs to the mod. Make sure the "meshes"-folder, the "textures"-folder and the esp-file from the mod are put inside the "Data files"-folder where Morrowind is installed. Don't worry about overwriting any existing files. The game's original files are located safely in the "Morrowind.bsa"-file, so you won't accidentally replace them.
If you still have problem installing, I recommend you download Nexus Mod Manager and install Better Bodies from this link.

Re: Better Bodies Errors
Thanks, it works fine now
I don't know what I was doing wrong but I just tried out NMM and downloaded the mod through it. As I said, I'm new to modding so I had no clue that this kind of a tool exists.

Re: Better Bodies Errors
Yeah, it's pretty handy. Mod managers makes mod installation basically a non-destructible process, since you don't have to remember exactly which file that belongs to a certain mod. Nonetheless, it's good to know how to install your mods manually as well. If you have any more questions regarding mods, just ask. There are plenty of people here who can help.

Re: Better Bodies Errors
Better Bodies is also part of MGSO 3.0, which comes with its own installation utility.

Re: Better Bodies Errors
One thing to keep in mind when using MGSO, if you make changes to mods that are installed by MGSO (install more updated versions of them, install the patches for MGSO that exist, etc) and then later use the MGSO options utility to change something...all those changes will be automatically undone. I personally only use MGSO v3 for the base install and then never run the options program ever again, making all my changes manually.
Edit: I had forgotten I had done this, but, I made and added an no-exe archive of Better Bodies available for download as an additional file on MMH: http://mw.modhistory.com/download--6037
