If they have the Skyrim DLC on super sale I might pick it up. Other than that I've got too many games to play as it is.

Never seen this ad for Staples, as I am an Aussie. It is a great ad, and I can't stop watching.

Head of Gabe Newell, owner of Valve, who I just discovered shares my birthday (different years, though).

I hope Assassin's Creed is on the list; that's one that I've been interested in trying - #2, mainly, but I'd probably get 1 as well.

If you enjoy that ad, lostlast, it has a sequel. :)

I'LL BUY EVERYTHING MY MONEY CAN BUY.

I'll be on the lookout for Super Meat Boy, TWD: 400 Days and Dark Souls and *maybe* Crusader Kings 2. There are also some games that I might buy if they really come down a lot in price (75% would do), including the Skyrim DLC.

Legendary Skyrim is up for £17.99 UK.

Considering that in the shops a secondhand xbox copy of the base game is the same...

ETA - only for next 7 hours.

I'd just like the point out that anyone who doesn't buy Hotline Miami for the ridiculously low price it's going for now is probably going to be condemned to gaming hell.

Hotline Miami was easily my favourite indie game of last year (or did it come out in 2013? I don't even know). Hard, rewarding, violent, 80'S MIAMI and a fantastic soundtrack. Can't wait for the sequel.

Crap. Wanted to buy Bastion (it's just 2.09 euro) and then I remembered their moronic payment system that allows you to use PayPal, but only if you have the credit/debit card connected to your PayPal account, so if you have a debit card that doesn't allow online transactions (like I do, which is why I got the freaking PayPal account in the first place), you can't buy [&@%!]. And in the morning the deal will be over. :?

Assassin's Creed 1 and 2 are both $12.99. This is the first summer sale where I had anything on my list; is there a chance of 'em going lower later on, or should I just grab the one I want now? (For example, they had the Elder Scrolls games on sale for a Midweek Madness in November, and I was kinda hemming and hawing about getting the DLCs for 25% off and then a day later they were marked down to 50% off so I was glad I didn't buy them right away.) It says the sale ends July 22.

In general if your game doesn't appear in the flash sales or the daily deals and has a realistic chance of either (which the AC series absolutely does) then it's usually worth being patient and waiting until it does turn up in either.

Seriously, that game is dope.

I haven't bought anything so far, though.

Gah... I'd love to, if only Steam would follow their own freaking terms of service and process PayPal instant transfers properly!!! Seriously, this is the most frustrating thing ever... :?

I can't even find Bastion now. Just the demo, the trailer and the soundtrack. What's up with that?

Edit: Nevermind. It just doesn't show up in a search. Once I clicked the demo the full game was there too.

Before I had a card capable of doing online transactions I used to buy PaySafe prepaids.

Gamestop also sells cards in $20 and $100 values. Is there a Game or Gamestop in Poland?

No, there isn't, it's just credit card or PayPal, afaik. What [&@%!] me off is that their own Support site says it's possible to pay via instant transfer without linking a card with your PayPal account, as long as you have the funds transferred to PayPal before. Which I did. And it's still asking for my full billing info at checkout, including my cc#, CVV2 code and expiration date on my card.

I sent them a ticket, but if they don't answer soon, I'm just going to have to ask a friend to buy the games and gift them to me, and I'll send him the money. It's not like I don't have options, but it's annoying when you should be able to do something in ten seconds from your own computer, but the system gives you the finger instead.

That's weird. There's like 10 payment options for me, including PaySafe.
