Yeah, I agree. I haven´t´come that far in the Arena, yet, though.

I also just figured Azzan is cool, too. Lots of NPCs are cool, really.

My favorite char is Valen Dreth.

I know, i know, he is a pain in that -ASS-, but when i came to him that fatefull night (OR was it day? Dun remember), when he commented my escape, i thought it was delightfull. When i then said that the Night Mother wanted him dead, and he whimpered like a Nord who's been sober for a few hours, it made me love him all the more, i think it was a great way to use that char hence the love for him.

Others would perhaps be Hieronimus Lex. He was a true pain in the ass, him and his emnity aginst the Thieves. But his somewhat dimwitted zeal at whatever cause, also made me favor him. So i am glad, the Gray Fox dident' task me to slaugther him, as it would be sorowfull.

On the other hand, i hate the DB vampire chap. He made me a vampire, wich was good in the start, but so much has been ruined i my days as a moon-walker. Killing him in the frekkin' middle of the DB foyer was very delighfull, specially since he jus said to me that "I should not keep Lucian Lachance waiting," and that my mission was important.
Capital!

-EDIT-
This fatefull night/day i'm talking about is during the quest Schduled for Execution. Just to clear any misunderstandings

i like the old man in the "go fish" quest, just outside the imperil city.
what a fool. after you help him, he tells you where his life savings are, then tells you how to get, then tells you how to get the key, and, asif this wasnt enough, he says "and the key's not coming off me as long as im alive" in a very suggestive manner.
what would you do?

Got to be Vincente Valtieri (edited, sorry for the mistake, i always mix up Vicente and Lucien), he just makes such a cool assassin and vampire.

:!:  >*(SPOILER)*< :!:

I rekon he's so cool I used a cheat to resurrect him (along with the other DB members) after your forced to kill him (although I killed him a couple of times for his sword which, at my level was pretty good  )

After that its Owyn from the blood works he's so funny and always commenting that you'll probably die!

Finally that maid for the Skingrad house (cant remember the name) dont actually like her its just that she has ulimited shepards pie and mead!

My favorite NPC is "Adoring Fan", I like leading him through perilous adventures and seeing if he got out of it alive. I even took him inside Oblivion once, but sadly, he didn't make it through the first 4 seconds.

I'm not sure if you know this, but he can engage into conversation with random NPCs if you stay in one place with him long enough.

Where do you see Lucien?

Oh, my favorite character was the guy who lead the seige of Kavatch, although it was sad to see him alone, standing in the ruins of Kavatch castle with his other comrades (besides me) fighting elsewhere or dead.

Five places:
  1. After you rest when you commit your first murder he approaches you.
  2. After you kill Rufio and rest he reappears (and gets more than a little too dark-lovey-dovey for my liking).
  3. When you ascend to the rank of Silencer, he sends for you; you can visit him in his Fort north of Cheydinhal.
  4. When you complete the final Dead Drop and he comes after you.
  5. This is only a technicallity: towards the end of the Dark Brotherhood when Lucien has an unfortunate encounter with his fellow Speakers, you'll meet his final incarnation. :P

One of my favourite NPC's are M'aiq the Liar. It's quite fun that all he says has a deeper meaning. Just look here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:M%27aiq_the_Liar

I never knew M'aiq was featured in Morrowind too until the other day. o_O Shows what island hopping can turn up. But he's definately one of the best NPCs in Oblivion. Darned Calipers are everywhere though. What an odd thing to hunt.

the first time I saw M'aiq, was outside the gates of Anvil; and I thought he was some sort of bandit. He ran away so fast I couldn't even come close to catching up. It was only later that I realized that it was Maiq. He has told me a few stories since then, lol.

I like this topic but I just wanted to let you know that "Necro-Posting" is when someone posts a reply to a topic that is notably dated and hasn't had any responses for quite some time- you'll notice the post above you was from FIVE YEARS AGO and is thus probably considered necro-posting.

On that subject, I do like the necrophiliac alchemist/member of Morrowind House Hlaalu.

The list is long, so I'll cut it a bit: Dar-Ma, Agronak Gro-Malog, Blue Team Gladiator, and much more.
