A healthy mix of vets and newbies seems to be the winning formula; at least, that's what we had in XV (my first MBG). And that was a pretty good game.

I think a poll is required but i suspect there are only 1 or 2 people who want to DM. August onwards would be ideal for a Molag Bal Game.
