Okay. It will be interesting to see what would happen between the two if they ever meet each other. Probably won't be wise to insult him due to the aggresiveness of Biomen.(Is that right?) Will be even more interesting if we have a second bioman character.

Biomen are not particularly aggressive, your character himself might be but it is not a product of their genetic engineering.

Then he shall not be that aggressive unless the situation calls for it.

I have added a poll to see what you think, I am trying to decide to put the roleplay on hold to do another minor RP to get some experience under my belt, or to proceed as planned. This will be my first RP and an open world one at that, so I figured I would ask the most important part, the players.

Open world roleplays tend to require less direction from the DM then a plot heavy linear one so it may be easier for you to do Defiance first due to it being an open world one and not plot heavy. You can also ask another DM to help you to DM the roleplay you are thinking of creating if you feel that you can't pull this off just yet but i suspect you can. If not, We'll just unleash a Bioman on you.

It'll depend on what happens. If your NPCs and locations are interesting, people will remain interested. If they are crap, they won't remain interested. But open world roleplays do run the risk of losing players faster then the other genres due to the nature of them.

to be clear to everyone Defiance will happen, I might just push it back a couple of months if I choose to do so at all

Hmm, it could be worth doing a few linear roleplays that have a plot but are not complicated to gain experience and make you a better DM.

...I've yet to find an image of the clan markings my Irathient is to have. They're...almost like a diamond shaped stripe over each eye. Hmmm.

Yeah Datak getting physically beat was nice but I want the EF to be ruined to. It seems the EF enjoy nothing more than ruining Amanda and Defiance for the sole purpose of the mines, the one thing they want control of.

Ach, folks can use their imaginations. It's like that oh-so-common scar across one's eye. Except it's a white Irathient clan marking. Over both eyes.

*E-Rep. Yeah, Earth Republic is not-so-nice. Reminds me of the NCR from Fallout New Vegas. You got resources they want, they're going to trample you down into the dust to get em. Odd, though, that in the game, most of their involvement is positive.

And with E-Rep's pushing into Defiance, we may very well encounter them in the roleplay, here...

Oh yeah and Irathients quite possibly will be one of the first races they wipe out, murder and the like. I was thinking trying to get Zatah's old house the one where her mother and father raised her in and where her mother had a small greenhouse inside for herb growth. I figured the man responsible for killing of Ilene would of moved up residence in there despite the house doesn't belong to him or his family but to Zatah through legal paperwork which is still in the house in a hidden safe, basement area I think. I figure maybe the EF will try to keep Zatah from getting her house, same with Datak.
