Faralda is the only person at the College Sylmirie would trust with her children. Or Nirya...but that's only because surprisingly she helped Sylmirie fight Ancano. She's actually good with magic and would probably be a decent follower.

My current character married Senna yesterday, so far she's working out pretty well. She gives me money & doesn't have some guy following her or random guys in my house like Mjoll did on my other characters,
so it's all good in the hood for now

Custom spouses are fun! It was kinda hard, but I ended up tweaking Solaste's appearance to make her rather attractive, at least by vanilla dunmeri standards.
I really like the purple eyes that you can choose in the CK from Karliah.

Re: Your Skyrim Spouse
I think I'm just within the time the rules say I can post in an older thread. ^_^
On my main character, my Argonian, her spouse is Angrenor Once-Honored. Originally it was just a case of "I can marry him? I'm going to give the homeless guy a home!" However they have become my absolute favorite possible pairing. I have remade my Argonian several times for various reasons and she always marries Angrenor. She has developed a potion/spell combo that helps with the breathing troubles caused by his war wound. They live at Lakeview with their children, Sofie and Samuel, and their extended family, Erik the Slayer, Marcurio, and Llewellyn. (and sometimes Rayya, but I don't often become thane of Falkreath) It was Angrenor's idea to adopt Sophie. ^_^ I've been developing all kinds of story between them, I just wish I was a writer so I could actually write it all out properly.
I think I am the only person ever to marry Angrenor, though I haven't finished looking through the thread so maybe I'll find out I'm wrong. I've never seen any signs of anybody else marrying him.

Re: Your Skyrim Spouse
I'm glad this thread was snatched from the precipice, because I finally made an honest man out of Aicantar today. What can I say, I love nerdy elves.
Next marriage: Erandur, to my female Breton, after several levels of them hanging out first.

Re: Your Skyrim Spouse
I didn't know you could marry that guy xD
I just made a Khajiit named Ja'Rek, who I'll make a post for in the Character Thread, but he will likely marry Ysolda due to her ties to the Khajiit. But he is a bit of a womanizer, so it will probably take a whole for him to settle down.

Not normally! I consoled him in, adding him to both the follower and marriage factions. He shares a voice with Marcurio so it worked.

I've married the mage follower from Riften, the Nord warrior from Windhelm, and the Dark Elf assassin/thief from Whiterun with all my characters total.
Few days ago, my newest character just married Ysolda. She's doing fine. XD

Re: Your Skyrim Spouse
One of these days I need to do that. There's one guy I really want to marry so I can give him a better life, but he's not an option normally. I'm drawing a blank on his name right now, but he's the guy that cleans for the jarl in Dawnstar. He has the same voice as Angrenor so there shouldn't be any problems consoling him into the marriage faction. ^_^ Just gotta make a character for that, and I'm not sure who. Maybe the Khajiit I'm planning to make when I get the Legendary Edition for PC later.ConsoleWedding wrote:Not normally! I consoled him in, adding him to both the follower and marriage factions. Re: Your Skyrim Spouse
*nod* I've got this whole head-canon thing in my head about why he would go for an Argonian despite his apparent racism when you first walk into Windhelm. It goes a bit off character from what he appears to be, but I figure he's my Angrenor, I can make him whatever I want. ^_^ Other people can make him whatever they want in their games.Finn Wolfshorn wrote:You're at least the first Argonian I've ever heard of to marry the second-worst racist in all ofmewmew34 wrote: I think I am the only person ever to marry Angrenor, though I haven't finished looking through the thread so maybe I'll find out I'm wrong. I've never seen any signs of anybody else marrying him.SkyrimWindhelm (counting Rolff Stone-Fist as the worst), but as his racism is mainly directed against the Dark-Elves that might actually be the common ground between you, considering the Dunmer's former enslavement of our race and our subsequent conquest of Morrowind (speaking as a fellow Argonian). Anyway, I bet this couple makes for an interesting story, and kudos for going for the non-obvious!

Re: Your Skyrim Spouse
Finally married off my Orc, Lurega. She married Torvar, the drunk from the Companions. I mostly just wanted to hear him say the whole "I'd marry you, I'd marry you twice!" line, but figured I wasn't going to be all jerky and not agree to marry him after hearing it. XD He fell in love as soon as he heard her talk about all the booze she has at home *thanks to stealing like crazy during a particular Thieves Guild quest*.
Didn't get a very good turnout for all the help I've given people. Vilkas showed up for us, but didn't ever sit down. My two followers, J'zargo and Anum-La were there, as was a Khajiit from Interesting NPCs that generally hangs around in the temple. My steward, Ogol, showed up as did my housecarl Gregor. Nobody else, though. No other Companions, nor anybody I've done quests for that don't live with me.
*edit*
Aaaawwwwwww. Torvar may become my new favorite spouse. Was walking around the kitchen doing some home improvements when he says "I love you. You know that, right?" Angrenor doesn't say that. He calls Nura "love", but he's never said "I love you".

My Nord female is married to the parrot with the claw fetish.
I visit her once a year to claim my annual gold, it's the only thing keeping her alive.
My Dunmer male might have some feelings for Neloth however... He found his lane after witnessing how large the status of Savos Aren was.

Re: Your Skyrim Spouse
Ysolda, a kind lass, poor yet fair, once dreamt a dream of running The Bannered Mare. This very same girl realized her dream, after a fight, when a newly born werewolf attacked Hulda in the middle of the night. For you see, Hulda, having no living heir, promised The Mare to Ysolda the fair, and given it was after that tragic affair. Yet such was not the end of Ysolda's story because without the slightest worry, she got married in a senseless hurry, hitched and carted to another Hold, without The Bannered Mare ever being sold. Now this short tale is not to amuse, but to give fair warning to all Dovahkiin fools: Lest you only buy salts and rent useless rooms, don't marry Ysolda after being a murderous buffoon!
