Yes, but Fallout 3 is already nortorious for its violence and sexual content. It's kinda like the theory of relativity (I think). While Oblivion would have been critisized heavily for the children murder, those who play Fallout will find that it isn't noticeable behind the other violence and etc.Dark Lord wrote:I heard they would be putting kids in fallout 3 so maybe they come up with a way.
The problem with the wanting of more quests, is that 30-60 minutes after the "more quests" you'll be saying, "They really should of added more quests". I say to solve this problem they should of added a random/reoccuring quest, like a random NPC spawns for the quest and you have to kill him for the Dark Brotherhood. And all you will get for help is 'He is an Argonian wearing a Burgandy Outfit'. That would be fun.theArgonianguy wrote:spears... more quest... party member(cand download the mods cuz am on ps3)
idk if theire is but official plug-in like mehrunes razor and deepscorn hollow for exemple but on ps3
Maybe the same thing except for the Thieves' Guild a random NPC spawns and you have to pickpocket him.

Precisely and may I add that with fallout the first two were not bethesda games and so bethesda did not put the children in there in the first place. They are simply keeping them.

try samurai warriors one and two, thats exactly what you do.leroybrown wrote:Unfortunately, no. Me and king were talking about this in another thread. While a large scale battle would be literally one of the greatest things i could think of in a game like oblivion, that is probably not gonna happen anytime soon. You could make such a battle if you wanted to though.Farson wrote:Yeah I suppose, oh well... Maybe for the next game?
The problem isnt the game but the computer. Few of us have the pc to handle the game at max resolution and run it w/o skipping. Now imagine that, but with hundreds of characters doing there own thing at the same time in close proximity.
That would be cool though if we did have the pcs to run it. Think of like braveheart style battle. I wouldnt even fight one guy toe to toe, id just run by slashing randomly. Man thatd be sweet.

Interesting. Dark Spark hasn't suggested time traveling cowboys by now. She should be here soon.
I think that there should be a choice of good or evil in the game. Oblivion gives you a lot of freedom but even then, It's easier to be good than evil. Each guild should have a counterpart that you could join as instead. DB and Adamus Phillidias Imperial Legion, FG and Blackwood Company, MG and necromancers, and TG and Hieronomous Lex. That would be cool

How about a side quest as a bounty hunter? You would have to use speechcraft, interrogation, find physical clues, etc. to find your bounty and either capture or kill him.
And while I'm at it, since you can become a part of every other faction, why not a group of quests to join and command a group of Imperial troops? You could start at the very bottom as a trainee and eventually become a commander of some sort.
Or what about a crossbow instead of just regular bows?

I really hope you didn't do what I think you did. Thats just disturbing, my friend.A reason for all the guards in the world to instantly know what you've done to that lonesome courier and her horse.
Anyhoo, I think that perhaps more freedom in spell making is in order, if it hasn't already been said.
Also..BRING BACK LEVITATION POTIONS! Yarg!

The conversations that NPCs have with each other should have been a bit more.. polished. Sometimes the conversations make no sense at all.
Also, it would have been cool if there was a new faction to join in the Shivering Isles. There isn't much to do there after you finished the main quest.
More random events would have been cool to. Finding an orc adventurer every now and then is a great idea, but there should have been more stuff like that.
Overall I thought Oblivion was awesome though. It definitely tops Morrowind.

One thing I would have liked (and yes, I know there's mods to fix it, but I can't be bothered to find them) is an option to turn off the compass and level scaling. I would also have liked some moral ambiguity, not "Go kill the mythic dawn, because they're EEEEEEEEVIL!" but "Go kill the mythic dawn because we think they're EEEEEEEVIL!"

My ideas-
Horse combat. Thats just win right there.
Goblin Wars added to 360. More win.
Turd Tossing. Yes. I said it. The ability to just grab some feces and chuck it at someone. Or any other object for that matter...and while im on that topic...
Ability to be disarmed. This would make fights more realistic, and give it an air of desparation.
Randomly Generated Quests. When you complete all 100+ hours of gameplay, something to break the monotomy would be nice.
Animal Taming. Oh not just some command spell. The ability to have an animal of your choice, and to be able to summon him on request.
No fines for killing Adoring Fan. WHAT?!?!? HES STALKING ME!!! THATS CRIME RIGHT THERE!!!
Real Estate. Yep. I would love to be an evil thief...LEGALLY!!! in the form of an a-hole landlord. And not just houses. Businesses. Stables. Farms. EVEN FORTS FOR BANDITS!
Coersion added to Hand to Hand. Basically, the ability to GAIN information/better prices by beating someone to a bloody pulp.
Dogs n Cats added as NPC pets...Ittle make stealing a little more fun. And who doesnt like burning dog!
Ability to burn the dead. I DONT WANT THE PLAGUE, Do you?
Bandit Warbands attacking towns. Nothing like some pillagers!
Triggered when you attack a bandit stronghold one too many times.
Harder Prison breaks. ITS A PRISON, NOT A ROOM WITH 2 CELLS AND 2 GUYS GUARDING IT!!!
Disable leveled citizens (I WANNA BE ABLE TO INCITE A RIOT AT LEVEL 50!!!)
Bad ideas i have seen-
Levitation. It's illegal now (THE LEVITATION ACT), and any form of flight screws up loading.

You can get disarmed. If your enemy is strong enough he can disarm you and your weapon will drop on the ground.CORNHOLEOUS wrote:My ideas-

You can do the same thing to enemies as well if your blade/blunt skill is high enough.
And many other idea's you're suggesting allready exist and are added by mods.
So just by the pc version for about $20.

I did. It took a long time for it to suck me in, and Oblivion did that instantly. For instance, it would take 1000 tries to hit a mud crab. A lot of the skills were similar and useless. Oblivion has less stuff, but it was more polished and more fun in my opinion.Dogmantra wrote:You did play Morrowind right?harrycombs wrote:It definitely tops Morrowind.
Only thing I liked better in Morrowind, is levitating.

going back to the children topic you could have them but if you kill/attack one the game could act as if youve died and you could get a message saying 'i have sinned beyond begiveness' (spelling) and the game would make you load.
also a way to to recognise the name you put in would be good, such as a giant list of pre-prgrammed names to use such as proper oblivion names.

Spears, Crossbows, Long/Shortbows, Throwing weapons(make it a skill, throwing a knife and shooting with a crossbow is two diffrent things, where throwing is harder), all the armor and weapons Morrowind had, better NPC AI, beast summonings(a diffrent skill than conjuration, like 'druidism'?), more clothing options, capes, cloaks, gloves, more robes(Though it's added by a mod(s) ).
More factions like Psijiic Order please?, All the artifacts from other games, more hairstyles, barbers, tatooists, beeing able to Polymorph others into animals, being able to transmorph into animals, more mounts, flying mounts(Dwemer Helicopter ftw), being able to lock your house, having a chance of your house being robbed(combine this with lock your house thing).
Hire mercenaries, getting contracts/jobs though being head of a guild, join mythic dawn, more choices to be evil or good(Join mythic dawn, necromancers, blackwood company etc. etc.), more elemental attacks like 'Wind' 'Water' 'Earth' 'Slow Time'(Time is considered a element) 'Holy' 'Unholy' etc., being able to get married and have children(Blackned screen there, mind you!), co-op play, more races(Ayleid, Dwemer, Falmer, Chimer etc.), Guard Psychic thing reduced(Reneer Guard Overhaul changes this, but for 360 users.), disguises and being able to write letters, books, notes and in your journal.
