I remember a while back I complained about my Toshiba laptop? The side popped off like here, they sent us a new power cord (made us pay $89 reservation fee for the cord) even though we knew that wasn't it? Waited two weeks then sent the machine in - the whole reason was the screws fell out. Why? because the factory failed to seal them in and most were loose to begin with.
They apparently "fixed" it with duct tape and one screw! Didn't even bother to try and attempted to lie about the real problem. And its apart again?! And to top it off charged me twice for the cord which was under warranty! Never buying Toshiba again!!!

Ahh, I am almost immune to mosquito bites . They seem to prefer to bite almost everyone over me, meaning that as long as there are at least two people in the room, I'm fairly safe. And when I do get bitten, the reaction is small and it barely lasts a couple of hours. Gotta love it.

I've found a solution to my mosquito problem: wear long-sleeved shirts while at home. It's really hot, but at least I'm not getting bitten every few seconds.

New rant: [&@%!] you, internet connection. Going down for hours multiple times a day is not cool. You're already slower than an elderly turtle, you don't have the right.

The long-sleeved shirt solution doesn't work around here. The damn bugs will bite through it. Whole swarms of them. Usually avoided by staying inside all the time, but if somebody leaves the door open too long... They're in trouble.



I really [&@%!] hate it when somebody decides to have a fire or whatever at their home and it fills the whole gods damned town with smoke.
Unlike the others who seem to live here, I would actually like to breathe. At this point, I feel like I need Spaceballs-style cans of fresh air to breathe because everybody else insists upon filling my share with [&@%!] that my lungs don't agree with. And that doesn't just include smoke from fires. Cigarette smoke that travels from house to house because of neighbors who smoke outside all the time, nasty farts... You name it.

It looks like it's foggy outside here, but it isn't. It's smoke. My lungs hate it. And so does my head, because smoke like this triggers headaches.
I've had to shut most of the windows. Now I've just got to hope my mom (with her hyperactive thyroid issue) doesn't kill me for cutting off the source of cool air.

just because you may have put a lot of effort into something, annoying person, doesn't make that thing good !! you could stay up all night, and use the most difficult techniques, ok I understand that, but it's still very much possible for what you did to end up crappy!

No, we're not all homophobic, racist, or right wing extremists. The vast majority of us aren't. We don't like Harper as much as the rest of Canada.
Guess what? It's also not our fault that all the big corporations want to come in and develop the oil sands. Climate change isn't all because of us, you [&@%!] idiots. In case you hadn't noticed, other parts of the world are using fossil fuels and belching out far more CO2 into the atmosphere than we are.
There are also plenty of us who disagree with the development of the oil sands and would like to see greener alternatives. Also, this sort of thing has been going on for many years. Since long before the talks of climate change.

No matter what you think of us, you should still show compassion for your fellow humans. But we all know people just can't do that anymore, now can they? Nope. The entitled [&@%!] and [&@%!] just point and laugh at Alberta as we get hit by massive floods. I wouldn't be surprised if those sorts of people did the same to those who died in wars, or those who starved every day because of poverty.

Would it be alright, then, if I said you deserved it if your home was lost in a flood? Just because of things you've read online or heard on TV? Just because you were too ignorant or lazy to go and find the truth? The answer is no. If it's not right for me, it's not right for you. Shame on you.

I have relatives who live down south, in the path of the floods. Saying that they deserve to have their lives as they know them ruined for things they have no control over is stupid and downright disrespectful. To them and the rest of my family. To them, my family, and everybody else. Including you.

Try opening your eyes for once. It might change your world.

What's getting me today is this sense of being left out, being unheard. I pretty much have no friends anymore...its like if I'm not part of a clique then everyone stops hanging out with me. I hardly drink so I never get invited out. People I thought were my friends disappeared or its awkward if I run into them somewhere.

I deleted facebook when a girl I thought was my friend said: "I'm so glad you have facebook so we can keep in touch"...even though we used to hang out and call each other all the time. When I call or text people they never hit me back or don't have the time consistently. Also when I had facebook I would see pictures of my friends out with each other and I was never invited.

WTF? Did I do something? I don't understand this shift at all it hurts. Today I deleted a handful of numbers from my phone.

My brother just got Warband off of steam, and after he tried i went on to see if it was better than the original. and it is so irritating!! what did they do to this game? the combat is utter [&@%!], i can't even attack folks normally, this guy can barely lift a sword?

why did they have to ruin a perfectly good Combat system, a system i very much enjoy, just because of a few new animations, i don't get it?

Recent slew of studies seem to suggest that the teenage brain is less developed than we ever imagined, which may help explain why teenagers are egotistical, reckless, and softwired for stupidity.

Really? Like really? For one the human brain is constantly evolving<_< and if teen's brains are so less developed, then what of a child's? Better yet, could alot of a teen's action be easily explained by hormones rather than being "dumber". Irony is, no matter how old you really are, that does not instantly mean your smarter. One true fact is that the younger you are, the faster you learn and more lucid your brain can be, hence why the large focus on early education. I somehow feel these "studies" may as well be biased

It's not about the teenage brain being less developed, it's about what "areas" are developed first. Unfortunately, the part that seems to develop last is the complex decision/risk assessment area. This process actually lasts well into our 20s. I understand your skepticism, and obviously assuming that all teenagers are therefore the same is an enormous fallacy, but this is well established. Like it or not.
