Re: What are you playing at the moment?
I tried playing a bit of Morrowind but bored of that rather quickly. I must be a graphics snob because...sigh...there just isn't a comparison to Skyrim. But I'll play Morrowind every now and then. Right now, however, I'm still enamored with New Vegas. So dangerous and thrilling.

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
New Vegas is awesome. Also, there is some really good graphic mods for Morrowind. My cousin has his Morrowind looking better than his Skyrim.

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
Just finished playing Myst yesterday. A puzzle/adventure game from 1993 if you hadn't heard of it. I've had it for a couple of years now but, being 20 years old, getting it working was a bit of a struggle. Finally found the motivation to do it a couple of days ago. Still wasn't perfect, but it was playable. Anyway, decent game. I can see why it was so influential. Shame it was still a bit glitchy for me. Other than that, it was a bit short. I think I only got 8 hours of gameplay out of it. Still, I think it cost about $10, so can't complain too much.

Chrono Trigger! An old SNES RPG game, for those who haven't heard of it. A few friends have recommended it so I decided to give it a go. Pretty good so far. Nice soundtrack, especially for a SNES game...

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
All I've played outside of a bit of Mechwarrior 4: Vengeance, some HellMOO and one failed session of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (where I realized a level 1 orc rogue is very difficult to take through the Imperial Legion quests) would be Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines. I'm going through my first game as a Malkavian...

Other than some Skyrim I'm playing a bit of Minecraft and the last X:COM game.

Metroid Prime! Pretty awesome GameCube game. Yeah, I know it was released more than 10 years ago. I haven't played it yet.

AC3 disappointed me. I felt like it it was supposed to be not linear, but was so linear.

Currently a lot of Red Dead Redemption.
Dear god, this game is amazing. I should've bought it a lot earlier. Just riding around on my horse is so much fun and so damn immersive.

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
AC3 was a disappointment and did too much hand holding. But the naval battles were the best part of the game. Hated the lockpicking as it is very fiddly. Even the slightly movement can cause you to lose the sweetspot.DikaSmausha wrote:AC3 disappointed me. I felt like it it was supposed to be not linear, but was so linear.

Trying to beat R-Type Dimensions which I got for free from Microsoft for my birthday or something a while ago... I'm playing co-op with my friend which helps the insane difficulty, but... Ow. That game hurts.

Re: What are you playing at the moment?
Not really a game, per se, but I've been addicted lately to Geoguessr. It's browser based and basically plops you somewhere in the world in Google streetview, and you have to guess where you are in the world, with more points the closer you get.
Don't mistake lack of talent for genius.
