Video Card
So basically I'm looking for a video card for my computer that will run Skyrim. I'm looking for the cheapest one preferably. Any help is appreciated

Re: Video Card
There's a list on this page that goes through a lot of different graphics cards that'll work with Skyrim. Though I wouldn't recommend anything below high/medium.

Re: Video Card
Yeah, that list looks about right. A card that can "run" Skyrim should be pretty cheap. If you have any sort of budget at all, you're probably looking at something that will run it quite well. Have you checked to make sure your meet the requirements in other areas too? No point buying a graphics card if your CPU/RAM aren't good enough. Post your specs here if you need any help.

Yeah, everything else is good but my graphics card. Currently I'm using an Amd Radeon 4200 1gb

Re: Video Card
And this may seem like a stupid concern, but if your computer is too weak to play Skyrim right now, there's a chance that buying a new high-end card won't do you any good, because it won't fit anywhere on your ancient motherboard.
My computer is a Frankenstein's monster like that (parts from 3 different computers put together) and I had a bit of a problem when I needed a new PSU - all the new ones had the wrong kind of connectors, had to find an older model.

Re: Video Card
No, it wouldn't. If you open up the link that Velvet LeChance posted, you'll see the 8400 in the low/very low category.

Re: Video Card
I'm using a Radeon 6450, which is in the Low/Medium category, and I can get about ~20 fps on medium-ish settings with some performance mods installed. I'd suggest looking for anything at least in the Low/Medium category.
