Thieves Guild : Independent Thievery quest glitch ?

Soon after finished "Boots of Springheel Jak", Independent Thievery quest update that asked us to fenced 1000 gold won't appear. Is this normal?

I had fenced 1000 gold but no quest update appeared either. Nothing was happening, it seemed my thieves guild quest had stuck for eternity. Should I wait for weeks so the Independent Thievery quest would update ?

I've seen uesp "Boots of Springheel Jak" bugs section, but yet to find any solution, except for console command. The Springheel Jak quest had been finished in my journal, though. Thoughts ??

TES games frequently excel in unclear and dubious tasks and messages. Being some of the nicest I've played, they probably are the ones that have caused me most of gray hair...

I had tried many workarounds but no quest update ever initiated from killing Jakben to prompting Blood Price. Finally, just recently, I gave in and using the last ray of hope console command skipping to setstage TGStolenGoods 110, then sell 1000 worth of junks and jump again to setstage TGStolenGoods 115.

After that, again, I initiated the Thieves Guild, "the Ultimate Heist" manually by using console command setstage TG11Heist 10. At Last Grey Fox moved his fat breeches from Gerendhel House in Cheydinhal to Orthelos house in Elven District.

I think this thread should be locked. To think what PS3 or Xbox players must go through
